Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The only thing which really exceed my expectations was the staff. Specially Mr Ahmad who did everything possible to make my stay as good as possible.

AustraliaPoor wi-fi - the signal drops out frequently. Aircon but no remote
The location is very good, within walking distance from the old town, port, and main road. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is basic but more than enough. The place is beautifully decorated. There wasn't wi-fi reception (poor strength) in the room but good on the outside in the common areas. The room is very basic but so is the charge so we were very happy with our stay overall.

SpainNot a lot. This place has a great breakfast and will help as much as they can without intruding on your privacy.
The rooms were some of the loveliest Ive been in, spacious, airy. It's a little expensive, but not if you like huge rooms, lots of choice, and fair help in a new culture. The staff are helpful but not intrusive. They offer very fair taxi, day trip and clothes washing services ..very fair. Morocco is safe, as a female solo traveller, I went out at night and was always helped with my mobile connections, always supported. I did feed the stray cats and offer money to the homeless, and the local restaurants were very appreciative - they brought out stray cats to eat (fresh fish is 5eu for half a kilo) and they don't berate the homeless). This place is not a high rise, it's a spacious, relaxed , large vika type setting. I had two windows to open, and was happy to take care of the rooms and keep them looking as great as when I entered. I loved this place! Day trips to Chefchouan for 70eu!

United KingdomThe shower head was broken and a little annoying to use, there's no ac and leaving the windows opened in summer meant letting the mosquitoes in so the alternative was keeping them closed and sleeping in an uncomfortably warm room
The staff and location were perfect being super friendly and helpful the room itself wasn't the greatest but it wasn't bad, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean equip with towels, soap and the necessary amenities

AustraliaI had to ask for toilet paper & towels, there were none in my room , the towel I was given was old & thin. You had to pay for water not even a complimentary one as in most other hotels in hot climates. The breakfast was basic continental but only one cup allowed. This is a budget hotel but management seem to go out of their way to maximise their profit at the expense of satisfying the customer. Increase you rates & provide the little extras we like, quality soap & shampoo.
The location & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The bed was comfortable & the shower effective.

United KingdomNoisy terrace No hot water Could do with a refresh (bathrooms)
Very friendly staff who let us leave our bag with them while we went to Chefchaouen for a couple of days. Breakfast included (minimal: 3 types of bread, orange juice & mint tea or coffee). Room on the ground floor was ok - no air con, but serviceable, room on the 1st floor much better, with air con, tv (not that we used it) & decent bathroom/shower. No hot water though. All rooms are around a central terrace which can be noisy, if you're trying to sleep. Good location & a 10-15 min walk to the Medina.
