Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandFirst we were given only one towel but got a second one when we asked for it. The TV in our room didn't work. We woke up every morning after 5AM for the call of prayer but that is the case in most places in the Medina.
Nice Riad to stay in the Medina. Our room was located on the top floor so there was a bit of climb to reach it but it wasn't a problem for us. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom okay as well. The location is really nice, in the Medina but close to the edge of it.

United KingdomIt wasn't a problem for us but for anyone with mobility issues, there are lots of stairs to get up to the 3rd floor where our room was located and the terrace. Rashid also happily helped carry our luggage up to the room. You can request a room on a lower floor if its an issue for you.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Rashid was extremely helpful and happy to share his knowledge and expertise about the city, make phone calls for us and book transfers to the airport. Excellent location for exploring the medina and new town. There was the option of a sheltered or open terrace to sit and relax. Continental breakfast was buffet style and eat as much as you like. Great value for money when compared to bigger hotels in Tangier.

SingaporeThat I had to leave!
A beautiful family run home that truly felt like a home. The rooftop terrace provides exceptional views and the bed was comfortable, room spacious. Mint tea is made at every opportunity, and breakfast is excellent, especially is there is ricotta and figs on offer. Rachid is able to help organise taxis and provide recommendations for things to do. Would definitely come back again.

FinlandA/C was dripping a bit, but it didn't bother us
Very good location, extremely helpful staff and cosy atmosphere! Before our arrival, we got quick reply from the hotel and advices how to get from the harbour to the hotel. When arriving, we got our room upgraded without any extra fees. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the rooftop was great! Really enjoyed our stay, good value for money.

MoroccoI encountered this in most of my accommodations in Morocco. Invariably, the plumbing in the bathroom is leaking. At the Dar Rif Kebdani, it was the toilet. This meant that the bottom of your clothing may get wet and/or that dirty wet shoeprints emerge in the bathroom. Also, there is no door separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom. If you're accustomed to using a fixed shower head, be prepared for water to ricochet off your body to other parts of the bathroom. Fortunately, it didn't get as far as the sink, toilet, or towel rack. There is no window in the bathroom so I left the door open so the room could air out after use.
I needed a clean and safe place to lay my head for 1.5 days. This place offered good value. My room was simple and cozy with two twin beds, a tv, air conditioner, and two small windows. The private bathroom was located outside the room. The water was hot, there was plenty of toilet paper, and the towels provided were soft enough. Both the room and bathroom were clean at an above average level. Internet was strong. Rashid the host was great to communicate with. He provided recommendations, arranged airport transportation, and checked in on me when our paths crossed. I appreciated the check-in and payment process, neither of which were rushed and were accompanied by Moroccan tea!

GeorgiaThe place looks much more beautiful than in the photos! An ideal location in the heart of the old town, in a quiet side street, close to cult places, fancy restaurants, small family cafes, coffee shops and shopping streets. I was greeted with a cup of Moroccan tea a smile and an open heart. The staff took care of me every day (when I was working at the computer, they gave me tea, asked how my day went). I lived on the third floor, with access to the roof and a view of the old town. The room has everything you need: sockets by the bed, clothes hangers and a table lamp. A small window from which you can see the city is very nice. The bathroom is spacious, perfect hot water and everything is very clean. Breakfast on the ground floor, at adjacent tables with other guests, creates a sense of family.

GermanyWe arranged a taxi in the hotel for 150 MAD, still when we finished our ride to the airport to fly back home the driver announced the price of 170 MAD so 20 MADs more when agreed, we argued a bit but still gave him 200 MADs as we did not want to have a fight on the last day before the flight home BUT he went even further and gave us back only 20 MAD. That was such a bad taxi experience and it is a pity to leave Morocco with a such bad taste and another tourist scam....
The staff member on the reception was extremely friendly and nice - probably the best we had in Morocco during our 2- weeks holiday. The breakfast was also delicious and the view from the rooftop was absolutely amazing.
