I had an amazing stay at this apartment in the heart of the Medina! The location is perfect – just a short walk to all the main attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The highlight of my stay was the stunning terrace with breathtaking views – a perfect spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere of Tangier. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city!

No words can describe Marie. She is absolutely wonderful and is an incredible example of what a host should be on every level. The location of the house is great and you can get to everywhere on foot. It is a very typical Morrocan house with a beautiful rooftop with great city views. Everytime we needed indications or a taxi, Marie provided and helped us. Highly recommended if you are in Tangier. Merci Beaucoup Marie!! Á la prochaine!

The doors are maybe narrow and there are lots of stairs, for people who are not as mobile it may be an issue but for us it was great.

The room is nice, and what makes it even better is the rooftop where you can sit in privacy in the sun or shade. We were up there quite a bit. Also the location cannot be beat, it was very safe and central. The hospitality was exceptional.

Everything! Lessan and Marie were excellent hosts. Lesson greeted us with his excellent, warm and charismatic presence and told us about different parts of the city. Marie was always super quick to respond and offer suggestions and she told us a lot about the Tangier society. The breakfast was served by a caring and friendly person! The view from the terrace was amazing and the whole stay was super great. We were lucky to have found this place and recommend it here 100%! Oh! They also told us where to buy excellent ceramics at great prices! Thank you so much, Lessan and Marie.

Like most Riadhs in Mororcco, the property really have many stairs, it did not really bother us but that is the only thing i can mention here

Our stay at Dar Sami in Tangier was a delightful experience. The location is perfect, situated near the edge of the medina, providing easy access to markets, cafes, restaurants, and sights. Groceries stores and bakeries nearby added convenience, and parking space and taxis just steps away made arrival and departure a breeze. The property owner was welcoming, kind, and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. We extend our gratitude for their hospitality. Although our room was a little compact, the charming private terrace offered a lovely space for relaxed evenings. Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace, courtesy of Mrs. Wafa, were a highlight, offering high-quality meals to kickstart our days... and the view, breathtaking! We highly reccomend this cute property for anyone visting Tangier!

Maria, the owner is exceptional, the location is beautiful and the room was super nice! Our room had its own terrace plus an awesome rooftop terrace. The breakfast was also great! One of the best places we stayed in all of Morocco.

Rooms are small and hard to get sunlight, however, it doesn’t take away from a great experience.

Excellent location very beautiful, and Marie did a great job making us feel very welcome. It is a small quaint apartment room, and the view at the top of the terrace is out of this world. Definitely a recommendation for anyone interested in Tangier.

Nothing really to complain about. You can't really compare to a hotel but you got everything you need.

Good location at the end of Rue de la Kasbah, very easy to reach either by walking or by taxi. It is close to the old medina and also close Cafe Hafa and Tombeaux Phéniciens if you want to have a good view of the sea and the city. The guest house is small but very cozy and very well maintained. The roof terrace is amazing, you have a very good view of the city. The room is not big but very clean and the bed is also comfortable. The host Marie is the highlight of our stay, very nice and helpful. Unlike many hosts trying to selling you services and with not so nice restaurants, she always give genuine advice. She is a very kind-hearted lady! Definitely going to stay there again if I am going back to Tangier.

Excellent stay overall. Really nice host, Marie, careful with the details and always helpful. Comfortable room, with proper hot water. Very good breakfast. Very good situation, in a clean and secure area. Only, inside and around the kasbah, beware of "guides" who first seem they are helpful and at last ask you for money.

This is a very elegant, stylish and comfortable riad, run by a very elegant and stylish host! I felt safe here as a solo female traveller, and exceptionally welcome. The rooms and living spaces are beautiful, and the breakfast delicious. I strongly recommend staying here. The host was very kind and helpful with catching taxis, recommendations, and anything you might need.

We only stayed for 1 night and if we knew that it would be this good, we would've stayed more. Even though the rooms are small they are very comfortable and have everything you need for a plesent stay. The location is the best and the owner is one of the most plesent hosts I've met so far. All in all this is one of the best places I've stayed in. And yes, get the breakfast at least ones cause it is not only delicious but the view and the experince is priceless :)

We are fine with this but people with mobility issues might find it difficult to walk back to the place with stairs along the way and no lift within the building.

Marie's place is located in a nice area of medina, it is close to food places, small shops and markets, but maintains a quiet atmosphere for a good rest. Breakfast on rooftop is a highlight of our stay, starting a day with refreshing views and good energy. Our room comes with a lovely terrace, we love to chill there after a day's walk around in medina. Marie is really helpful in providing information/suggestions for our trip and we are impressed by her hospitality. Overall, we highly recommend this place to those who want to be immersed in Moroccan culture, but also enjoy a high level of comfort. We stayed in three different places during this trip and Dar Sami was the best one.

There was noise at night from the alley below (cats and dogs fighting), but that is to be expected in the neighborhood. Didn't keep me awake.

Great location in a charming, well-maintained, older building that is just across from entrance to old kasbah. Very friendly and helpful host who prepared an excellent breakfast. Room was relatively small (it is a very old building) but comfortable.

Madame Marie welcomed us warmly, providing all the information to reach the place easily, and suggesting spots to eat in town. The Riad was extremely cute, warm and cozy, with an amazing terrace where to have a tasty breakfast. We really appreciated also the books available to introduce the guests to the cultural and historical atmosphere of Tangeri. Spacious and clean rooms, fully equipped for a comfortable stay.

There is no elevator - fine for us but anyone with mobility issues may have a problem getting up the steps.

Bed & Breakfast right next to the Kasbah. This property is hard to find, but once you arrive you will never forget it. Our host was so gracious and accommodating! This is a perfect spot to stay for couples, singles and anyone who wants a quiet place to soak in all that Tangier has to offer.

Beautiful, well-maintained property in the traditional Moroccan style. The staff is amazing, the breakfast on the rooftop is definitely worth it and the location is perfect. The staff are great and go above and beyond to help and give recommendations. Everything about this stay was exactly as the reviews had said before I booked it. A memorable experience!
