Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Russiait is located too much away from the main road and you have to walk for 10 min through the Medina to reach . also the room we got was very dark and the lighting was so poor that we had to use our telephone torch to find stuff in the room . the interior was too dark. Bit the ladies in the kitchen were very helpful, smiling, pleasant . Overall, if you need to have experience of riad right in the very heart of Medina, it’s good.
The staff was very helpful .Alrhough located very much in the centre of Medina, it’s very very safe . You could move around alone even late in night .

United KingdomNothing not to like and nothing the hosts can do to improve this as it would compromise the traditional feel - but just a tip for the women, you may need to bring your own ring light. The rooms can be quite dark when the window shutters and doors are closed - I had the best sleep because it was complete black out but struggled to wear make up in the mornings because of no natural light.
We chose a Riad to have a traditional experience and that's exactly what we got. From the layout of the inner courtyard, to the interior of Riad itself and lastly, the design of the rooms - it certainly made us feel like we were in Marrakech. Breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. You could drink their mint tea for ever. The location was perfect. The riad is located right in the heart of a souk - only 5 minutes away from Jamaa El Feena- what really felt like a minute because of all the exciting things to see in the souk there and back to the Riad. The Riad is also located very close to all the historical sites. We really appreciated being given a tourist map by the Riad and this inspired us to do a walking tour of the old city. On the first day walking to the Riad was scary because of the many in roads/lanes but you pass by many other riads, a mosque and a restaurant - we actually felt so safe and loved walking back at nights. When we would come back we would always find our beds made, bins taken and toilet paper/towels replenished. Beds are super comfortable. Rooms have AC. Our hosts Samer and Abdul Raheem were amazing! Were such a joy to speak to and were very helpful. Samer arranged a last minute trip for us to Casablanca - our driver was super helpful, such great company to keep so much so that we asked him to accompany us instead of waiting in the car. The rooftop was exquisite with a jacuzzi and patio style dinner layout - I wish we had time to make use of this!

United KingdomEverything was very good.
We had a highly enjoyable stay at Dar Sohane. It is a really comfortable, very clean and very quiet Riad, situated in a great location close to the main square. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was really nice - a great pleasure every morning! Samir and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. We would highly recommend staying there.

SpainWonderful riad, you wind through the streets of the Medina to access the property. We were met by the manager and served a tea while we completed our paperwork. Room was very large with separate area for sitting. Rooftop was a nice place to enjoy the weather although there are no views from there. Did not use the spa. Breakfast each morning was delightful. Plenty of traditional foods along with coffee, tea and fruit to start our day, Staff was exceptional, friendly and very accomodating.

United Kingdomthere was work being done right outside our room window on the street (alley) below which was horrid ...wish we were told about that beforehand. Other then that, I wish more spoke English (staff)
Sam our contact and staff member at Riad was amazing. He was one of two only who spoke English that we saw so he was very valuable to get our room needs met. He showed us places to go and was very responsive to all my questions via WhatsApp. The room was very clean bed comfy

Switzerlandcan’t think of anything!
what an amazing place! Everything was just perfect from the first moment to the last. as we arrived in the early evening we had out airport transfer arranged through the riad, which meant that we were met by the manager (Samir) where the taxi couldn’t get any further through the very narrow alleyways. He walked us to the Riad, where we later enjoyed a fantastic meal. Absolutely outstanding. We ate at hight end restaurants during our stay and the food at Dar Sohane was just as nice. I could go on, but in a nutshell, our 7 day stay was just great start to finish. Thank you so much, Samir and crew.

SwitzerlandThe wonderfully carved wooden doors between the atrium of the riad and the rooms themselves have a distance of about 3cm to the walls so one can hear other people talking while they are eating breakfast or just talking inside the atrium. It doesn't work in the other direction, so people won't hear you talking while you're in your room. Still it took us some time to getting used to it and it would be nice, if the riad would close the gabs between doors and walls.
The Host was very helpful, friendly and kind. He gave us a lot of helpful suggestions and tips and was always up for a good chat. The riad is clean, the room lovingly furnished and the jacuzzi is a nice touch for your well-beeing after a day in the vivid medina of marrakech.

United KingdomPretty Riad in the heart of the medina, hidden away down some small alleys about five minutes from Jeema El Fna Square. Our room was on the roof, was very clean and comfortable and very quiet. The roof was a great place to unwind in the sun after a busy day. The jacuzzi was cold but cooled you down. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Saudi ArabiaThe location is not touristic. A very old house located in the middle of a historic city hard to reach. You have to walk around 20 min from the parking space or taxi point to reach this house. There is no signs on the wooden ancient door of the that house. Would not recommend.
