The lady who did our check in was amazing. Very kind, welcoming. The bedroom and the terrace were beautiful. We arrived very early in the morning so we asked to leave our bags before check in and to collect them after check out. That was not a problem, thank you! The only thing to improve is that the only WC outside the bedroom in the common areas was in a tiny space. The flush was broken, so we had to flush it with the toilet shower. It didn't have a sink either so we washed our hands in the kitchen.

You can hear A LOT of noise from the street. It’s a bit hard to find the place, it would be nice for them to have a sign on the door

The breakfast was very good, clean, also the staff are super kind

The hotel is hard to find in the narrow streets and no signs. A what3words pin might help. Stairs to top room are narrow, not easy to get up top, if at the older end of spectrum.

The local in the old town is great. The staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is generous. Has a small roof terrace with nice view. Lots of Moorish features in the building and artwork.

There was only a curtain separating the bathroom to the bedroom so for my friends who were 3, it was not ideal but okish :D

Great location, you can find it easily. Nice rooftop and cute rooms. Meriem was amazing. She helped us finding a Taxi, suggested some nice spots to visit and the best way to get there, thank you so much for the service. The room was cute and comfy. The breakfast was great and the quantity more than ok with options of coffee tea and a very fresh orange juice.

The pillows were too firm and too stuffed for me. The housekeeper spoke only Arabic and French, so communicating with her was a challenge but we managed with Google Translate.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dar Tinjaa. Our room was on the 3rd floor with great views over the Medina from our room as well as the upstairs terrace. The housekeeper brought us mint tea when we arrived and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace while spping our tea. For breakfast she served us coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, a selection of breads, jam, hard-boiled eggs and yogurt with fruit. We didn't mind the climb to the upstairs rooms as it was worth the view and steep, narrow stairs are typical for many other places we stayed during our trip.

The place was a bit difficult to find at night because it was right at the heart of the old Medina. The door had an issue so it was hard to close it but we had no problems.

Good location, very friendly staff. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was quite nice. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back.

The first night we arrived, I hadn’t slept for over 28 hours due to our flight and other travel - when we asked about a restaurant we were first taken to a gentleman who was very friendly, but also very driven to sell us scarves. We then were wished away to a restaurant where we were told we could use credit but it turned out we couldn’t. From there we were soaked to another person selling rugs. I had to be firm to get th to release us so I could go get some sleep. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant atay.

This was a lovely Riad to stay in Tangier. Our stay was over Eid-El-Adha so most of the Medina was closed but our host was most gracious. Great views lovely room, very clean.

Just be aware that the property is in the middle of the Medina where no car can go so if you have suitcases be ready ! Also be aware that while there is an ocean view the terrace is not like the photo

Nice atmospheric restored home with all the required amenities and a perfect spot from which to explore the Medina

narrow staircase as mentioned by some could be an issue for the less fit /mobile however not an issue for us. My wife felt the cleaning standards were not great however I put that down to it being quite an old building – the staff do not really speak any English (I mention this because in the description is clearly states English is spoken – so this is misleading). I had an issue on last day meaning that I needed to print boarding passes – I contacted the WhatsApp number which was for a Riad some 15ins walk away – they happily agreed to print the boarding pass – big thumbs up!

Excellent location right in middle of Medina however not all that easy to find (some local shopkeepers kindly showed us the way), lovely view from the roof top terrace, spacious living area (think we have the one bed suite), breakfast good, allowed to leave our bags on departure day and collect later

Some clutter on the narrow stairways made carting luggage up more challenging that it needed to be. Host could have been more welcoming and helpful.

The location was OK, and the room itself was basic but comfortable. The service was pretty minimal, and the breakfast adequate. We were able to leave our luggage as we spent some time exploring the area. Overall, this was fine for a single night stay.

The stairs so many of them do not book if you’re not fit. The room at the top was wonderful but unfortunately you will be woken by the call to prayer about 5 o clock then the cockerel will start crowing then the seagulls
