Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCannot complain for the price and location. Have reasonable expectations and it's anjoyable experience. I went end September, after the summer, but there didn't appear to be air cons in my room so be weary during peak summer which can be common in Morocco.
The host and his family are very welcoming and lovely people. They live inside the riad. Communication was easy due to all of them speaking English and French. I was welcome with a nice cup of traditional Moroccan tea. WiFi works and included, but connection and speed can be an issue. Located around 10 minutes walk to Bab Boutha/Boujlout which are some of the main tourist attraction. Getting to and from the riad/city can be a little challenging due the the maze like paths, and on the way you might meet locals who will 'guide' then ask for money despite you insisting you don't need their help, which they pretend not to hear anyway. Bathroom/toilet is shared and kept clean. Included breakfast a nice touch, served from 8:30AM. All the other guests I met were pleasant. I had the 2 single beds, minimum a small drawer cabinet and table, no wardrobe.

I adored the hosts. They organised my welcome very well. They tried to help me with all issues, gave me a lot of advice. I adored the breakfast and teatime. It is a nice family and great first impression of Morocco

ItalyI would have given 10 stars but we didn’t appreciate when you asked money for your “gift”, we had already decided to leave you a tip because of your politeness but despite you received it you asked other money. We were so disappointed
I reccomend. Omar and his family were very polite, they always helped us for taxi connection with the airport and even for a trip to Chefchaouen.

AustraliaThe hot water in the bathroom wasn’t working.
Omar picked us up from the bus station in a taxi to ensure we found the riad easily. The breakfast was good. Location was as great and just outside the Medina. Omar and his family were really lovely and accommodating.

SwitzerlandThere is only one bathroom that you have to share with the 2 other guest rooms. Wifi was ok in the dining area and not so good in the room as we were in the highest floor.
Omar welcomed us at the parking lot where we parked our car for 20 DH per night. He explained us the most important sight in the city and the ways to get there. The room was tiny but ok for 2 nights. Breakfast is usually at 08:30 and you get bread, jam, tea etc. Omar even gave us a little breakfast to go the day we left early in the morning!

SwedenThe location is close to the blue gate and other happenings but for us as 2 girls we didn’t feel so safe walking home the last part since it was a pretty narrow and dark road. But if you walk together and know where you’re going it’s maybe not as scary.
Omar is an amazing person, he greeted us with some mintea when we arrived and helped us with places to visit. The breakfast was really nice and he even made it take away for us when we had to leave early. Would totally recommend Omar as a host!

FinlandThat the pick up and drop off were not perfectly aligned.
The owner of the house was very helpful. We had the pick up from the airport organized by the owner and then unfortunately, when the taxi driver dropped us off, someone took us and brought us to the wrong location. Only with the help of the owner we could find the location. I recommend you get a SIM card with internet to get into contact with him in case this happens to you, too. The owner apologized and made us a tea and made us feel very welcome.
