Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSituated amongst the orchards of the Ait Bouguemez valley this little haven is the perfect spot to stay and use as a base to explore the area. The hospitality is second to none with friendly service along with plentiful breakfast and delicious home cooked dinner. The rooms are comfortable and the showers hot. If you want to step back in time and see unspoilt countryside inhabited by a people living and working as they did 50 years ago, this is the place for you

Literally everything. Great location. Away from any noise. Just next to beautiful orchards in this lovely Happy Valley. The food was excellent and plentiful. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would have liked to have stayed longer. It was really nice to feel that it was a house shared with the host family. A great ambiance.

BelgiumThis has been our best stay in Morocco. The guest house is located in the middle of the wonderful valley of Ait Bougemmez. The view from the terrace is amazing. The building is made out of traditional materials and is therefore naturally fresh inside (air conditioning really not needed at all). We stayed four days and could made amazing long hikes on our own thanks to the suggestions of the owner and his brother. Great breakfast and delicious dinner!!!

FranceInitially the access road is a bit confusing. Could use a little extra signposting to guide visitors to the property.
Location is amazing. Not touristy. Stunning landscape. Excellent hosting, plentiful delicious food. Fresh ingredients from the garden. Fire in the evenings. Very very reasonably priced. Friendly. Welcoming.

South KoreaIt's a little bit hard to find, you have to go down a grit road for a few minutes from the main road.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The boy gave us a free tour of local sights and wouldn't take money for it. The Riad is in a very quiet location next to a small river, great to have dinner outside.

Czech RepublicNothing - but be aware that you have to cross about 1 km of stony dirt track to reach the house and have to drive carefully (that's the price you pay for the seclusion). Difficult to find the first time, so make sure you have the host's phone number with you.
A beautifully refurbished old house in the valley, a bit detached from the village, with a terrace surrounded by orchards and spectacular mountains. Enjoying the views in the quiet, with just birds singing, is a comfort to the soul. The hosts are friendly and generous - after we arrived a day late because of car trouble, they let us stay a day longer without extra payment (the room had not been booked for that day) and helped us with rearranging our onward schedule. They also cook very tasty Moroccan food that you can order in advance (except breakfast, which is included in the price).

IsraelBy far our favorite place and the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Mohammad and Ibrahim are the most genuine, hospitable and generous hosts we came across. The location is gorgeous, with walking paths to the villages and mountains around. The room is comfy, and the best part of the day was to finish it with an incredible dinner next to the fire place. We ended up extending our stay and will definitely come back. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

United StatesJust a not that the Gite is hard to find and down several long and windy dirt and gravel roads with several twists and turns. It is NOT labeled and did not come up on GPS for us. I do not recommend trying to find it in the dark. Luckily, everyone along the dirt road knows where Gite Imarin is and we just had to ask for directions from the villagers on the road along the way in order to find the place. We had a little rental car and bottomed out serval times. Even knowing that I would still stay at Gite Imarin because I liked it that much!!
WOW! What a beautiful location and wonderful gite, with amazing staff. Mohamed and his brother are so nice, helpful, and caring folks. The valley is breathtaking and the hike in the valley is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Mohamed got us a guide and it was worth it, as the trail is a little tricky and overgrown. The food is fantastic!!!! And the service is top-notch. At night the sky is covered with stars, almost like you see out in the desert! The sunrise on the terrace is so peaceful. I did yoga every morning on the terrace and it was excellent, watching the donkeys go by, carrying grass on their backs, storing up for the winter. All the villages in the valley are neat to explore and we had tea with the folks in one of the villages on our tour. It was a great cultural experience! I highly recommend a visit to Gite Imarin to rest and restore and see a new way of life!!

PolandThe place is cold. I got a really small heater. Getting there is a nightmare, dirt roads, waiting for sheep to pass. In the end I was charged 10 usd for a soup and tajine.

DenmarkOne should be prepared to drive by a stony dirt road across the valley to Gite Imarin. Locals are very helpful in showing the way. There is a signpost for Gite Imarin on the main road, but easily overlooked as the colours are yellow and light blue - a more prominent signpost would be helpful. There is also a little longer but not so steep dirt road leading to the house.
GIte Imarin is a rather modern house in the apple tree plantation. The interior design is simple as you see in most riads or gites in this isolated valley high in the mountains. A base for walking tours or trekking. Breakfast and dinner is cooked by the owner and are plentiful. The area deserves at least two or three days to be appreciated
