Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

everything was good!
I recently stayed at Gite Panorama for the third time, and it was as wonderful as ever. Situated in the quiet village of Imlil near Marrakech, the views are breathtaking and the tranquility is perfect for a relaxing escape. The hospitality is warm and welcoming, making each visit truly special. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

My stay at Gite Panorama in Imlil was exceptional! The location offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. A lovely little budget guest house. The host family are very sweet and the terrace has the most amazing views. It's very cheap so if you are looking for luxury don't come here. I absolutely loved it though. Perfect as a base for hikes and exploring Imlil. I would most certainly stay here again.

The host and his lovely wife are so kind. Checking in and out went smoothly. A great traditional breakfast and tajine are served on demand, which you can enjoy with a panoramic view of the mountains. It is located right on the road to the waterfalls and the toubkal national park. I was delighted and I'll be going back.

We had a great stay. The view from the terrace is amazing, absolutely worth the name Panorama. You can start hiking directly. It has an oven, hot water and a cozy common room. We stayed 3 nights and it was every morning lovely to sit on the terrace with the sunlight in the face and also in the night when the moon was shining on the mountains. It is so peaceful and quite. The owners are very kind, made us feel welcome and were always helpful. Great hospitality!

Great view over Imlil - hence the accomodation's name. Speaking either French or English, the family provides a first-hand welcoming experience. Added bonus: possibility to stash a bag for a few days when trekking around (btw, owner also has a trekking agency downtown so can provide planning on arrival)

Gite Panorama is such a beautiful place. I stayed two nights there and I enjoyed every second. The hospitality of the host is just great and the traditional breakfast and dinner is so good. Also the location and the view is amazing. One of the best places I ever stayed :) I definitely can recommend this place.

The owner of the house was very unappropriated towards me - as I was laying on the couch he sat next to me and stared to touch my feet... Which made me feel very vulnerable staying in my floor alone
Good location between the mountains, cool terrace Mohamed and his brother were nice to me, provided me a guide last minute and arranged another way for me to pay as I didn't have money with me

We haven't had the opportunity to know our host better, sure he is a good people with a lot to share on the village and the valley.
Excellent location above the village, nice view on the Toubkal. Clean. The owner speaks french and as a guide can also make arrangements for a trek. Good place to start the Toubkal trek.

No WIFI. Towels were not provided. And the last thing that disappointed me most was that the owner asked me 200 dirham for one breakfast (which were pretty small) and for one dinner (and 2 bottles of 1,5L water). Although he kindly provided me one dinner for free as iftar for the day when I was fasting, 2 meals for 200 dihrams is still expensive, especially when booking says that breakfast costs 3$ (30 something dirhams). Be ready for such tricks.
The place is good, calm and relaxing. The view is stunning. The room is quiet and clean. Beds are comfortable. Since Imlim located high in mountains it can be cold, but there were enough blankets. There was no problem with hot water and shower, just wait a minute or so. The dinner was great and delicious. Good place for its price.

The location is inconvenient. It is all the way up a hill and you either have to hire a taxi and go the long way (I recomment) or be willing to hike up a steep trail for quite a distance, and good luck seeing that last sign. The isolated location also means that you are far away from any stores, restaurants, etc. so make sure to bring whatever water, snacks, etc you will need for when you first get there. Also, the wife speaks no foreign languages, so communication is quite difficult, although her good spirits and willingness to help are obviously appreciated.
The room with en suite bathroom was spacious and clean. Overall great value. The husband and wife who run the gite are very kind people. The gite lives up to its name. It indeed has a great panoramic view!
