Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanNothing except the small road to get to the property, a little rough but it’s manageable.
A very warm welcome by the host. The cleanliness and service surpassed our expectations. The food they served for dinner was one of the best Morrocan food we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and the view from the terrace was also amazing.

BoliviaWe had an amazing stay at Gite Tamlii. The host, Hamid, was very hospitable and kind. He showed us around in Aoufous, took us to the dade cooperative, the kasbah ruins, the market and through palmoasis. During sunset he took us up to the top of the plateau (by foot, it was quite the climb🤪) and the view was amazing! The food that his wife prepared was also amazing. It was the best tajine we have had so far in Morocca. Hamid spoke spanish and french with us, and he gave us lots of information about the place. The room was good with comfortable beds, a cozy interior, and a little balcony with a view over the palmoasis.

United KingdomAbsolutely stunning decor, everything clean and tidy, air con fully working, nice balcony view and delicious breakfast! The tea was also the best we had so far. Hosts were very welcoming and made us feel like at home. We had the best rest during our trip to Morocco. Hoping to visit again and stay for dinner! Also spent some time doing some stretches on the roof terrace which was spontaneous as we felt such a great energy about the place.

SloveniaNothing really. Maybe just that 40 mad for a large teapot was a bit on the expensive side.
The hosts were very kind and we were able to communicate in Spanish. They cooked for us a plentiful dinner and a delicious brekfast. The room was very comfortable, we had a very good night sleep there because it was very quiet. We walked through the oasis and the village and encountered many friendly faces. The road to the guesthouse was totally manageable with a normal car, some reviews scared us a bit, but no need to worry. It was a very good point to stop overnight on our way from Meknes to the Sahara.

The place is amazing, in the middle of the oasis. Owners Hamid and Khadija are very friendly and give a super personalized service. They serve excellent home cooked food and sell Amazing dates from their garden (which they don't advertise so don't hesitate to ask for it!).

United StatesFelt like we were going to get lost because it’s not on the main highway, but when you see their signs, the adventure spirit started to pick up.
It’s a beautiful oasis. The owner and his family made us feel appreciated that we came to visit. We got by communicating not knowing french and not much Spanish, but his young son spoke English—and he was very down to earth with us. He took us around the forests of palms, olive trees, the ruined kasbah, his whole neighborhood where he grew up. Got to meet a fun group of boys playing soccer. Dinner was really good, so was breakfast.

United KingdomAttractive and comfortable room, friendly host, excellent dinner and breakfast. Handy location on the long route down from Fes to Merzouga - the Ziz valley is the most interesting part of the route and most of the way there. Nice garden with fig and lemon trees under the palms. Conveniently located just off the main road, though there is a short section of rough gravel track at the end.
