Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MoroccoStaffs are helpful and hospitality. The Riad is sooo beautiful! We enjoyed our stay here so much. The owner even prepared a box of cookies before we left, which can tie us over during our 6-hour drive to Merzouga. Thx a lot! We hope to stay here again.

IrelandRemote location, bit away from town. Can't really walk around. Food was expensive and portions were excessive.
Excellent customer service. Rooms were tiny, but were upgraded to good sized ones. First Riad experience, doesn't look much from outside, but inside is a completely different story.

ItalyThe city of Ouarzazate isn't the prettiest part of Morocco, but this riad was an amazing surprise.
When we arrived they upgraded our reservation to a Suite room. We were offered the option to have dinner in the Riad even though it was late. Delicious and enormous tajine, service impeccable! The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning was spotless.

South KoreaThe staff's inability to speak English made communication challenging, and it appeared that they did not coordinate well with each other. Despite requesting a reservation for a breakfast area seat, which all the rooms supposedly have, our request was not honored. After bringing it up with an English-speaking receptionist, the seat still wasn't reserved the following day. Despite informing the staff about my allergies and requesting the removal of specific ingredients from the breakfast menu, the omelette, which was the main dish, still contained various ingredient including coriander, onion, tomato, cheese and the ingredient I asked to be excluded due to the allergen. It appeared that this information was not effectively communicated within the staff. Consequently, when we reiterated my dietary needs to the kitchen the following day, they chose to exclude the omelette for all of us. This left us with only fruits and pastries, and the situation highlighted a significant lapse in understanding and addressing dietary requests. We explicitly requested that our room not be cleaned while we were away, informing the only English-speaking receptionist. However, upon our return, we discovered our room door open, and the cleaning lady was in the process of cleaning. When we inquired about the availability of an iron, the receptionist initially confirmed its availability and promised to bring it to our room. After waiting almost an hour without any sign, we approached the receptionist again, only to be informed that they did not have an iron. Another instance highlighting the communication issues was when we ordered room service and waited for an hour without receiving any updates. When we inquired about the delay, we were told that the menu we selected was for dinner, and they did not serve it until a certain time. This lack of communication led to confusion and inconvenience during our stay.
I recently had the pleasure of staying in a room that exuded traditional charm and warmth. The interior design was not only clean but also uniquely crafted, creating a delightful ambiance that stood out. The room's traditional decor added a touch of character and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a pleasant retreat after a day of exploration. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, showcasing a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene. The warmth of the space was not just in its temperature but also in the thoughtful design elements that contributed to a cozy and inviting environment. What struck me most was the uniqueness of the interior. Unlike typical hotel rooms, this one stood out with its distinctive style, setting it apart from the ordinary. It's evident that attention to detail was a priority, creating a space that felt both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, my stay was characterized by the traditional, clean, warm, and uniquely designed room. It added a special touch to my experience, making it memorable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this accommodation for those seeking a blend of comfort and distinctive charm.

A unique Riad on multiple levels with wonderful small terraces with views over to Ouarzazate. Beautifully furnished with lots of greenery and tiles. It was lovely to be outside of Ouarzazate and in a small dusty village where a short stroll allows you the chance to see games of pick up soccer and children playing in the street. The kindest staff and an exceptional owner, whose advice and suggestions of off the beaten track places to visit proved invaluable. Exceptional breakfasts and dinners.

United KingdomI was looking for a fairly remote week in Morocco. This was on the outskirts of the town, and surrounded by beautiful fields and date trees. Right on the edge of a crumbling Kazbah. The entire staff were extremely friendly and the food was fantastic. I wish I had more time to stay but they were fully booked! That said, it certainly didn't feel it, it was extremely tranquil
