Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayThis place is stunning! We had a night here between Marrakech and Merzouga. Especially after sunset with all the lights, the exterior is very magical! The dinner were good and we were served a lot of food. I reccommend the traditional hammam they offer at the premices. Don't be shy and just go with the flow, prepare to feel very clean.

United StatesA longer stay
This is a lovely place. It’s beautifully designed and furnished inside and out. The courtyard is so gorgeous and terraces so inviting that the Riad is really a destination in itself. Our room was on the small side, but it didn’t matter much. Beyond its physical beauty, though, is the outstanding staff, primarily women. The level of welcome and gracious service was the best of our trip, and we thank them for this.

United StatesNo issues with the property, there was a mix up at the desk and they didn't have our dinner order so we had to come up with another menu last minute, that was not what we had wanted.
Itt was lovely and had a very unique feel to it. Breakfast was delish. The room was unique and was able to accommodate my wife and me in a separate sleeping area from our boys which was nice.

United KingdomOur room was very dark, and less cozy than we expected.
Lovely and impecable riad, very good attention, great breakfast and dinner. The weather was very nice so we had both meals in the cute patio. The room was big and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The light and ambiance of the room were not very nice, though.

This is a real gem tucked away about 15 minutes outside of central Ouerzazate. The Riad is filled with leafy gardens and balconies from which to shelter from the midday sun. Also, and even more refreshingly, the hotel is staffed almost entirely by local women as part of an effort by the management to create opportunities in the local community. This was refreshing after having had interactions primarily with Moroccan men throughout our trip and my partner especially enjoyed speaking to some of them about life in the country. Fatima Zahra Hssaini was particularly welcoming and even lent my partner some nail clippers after her own broke - she is a real asset to this place and also leads her own guided tours in English from the hotel. Finally, the food is amazing - by far the best we had in Morocco. Classic offerings like the tagine and cous cous were delicately flavoured and cooked - the head chef is a genius.

United Kingdomthe 4 km pot holed road to get to the Raid is painful, but once they open the Raid door to you, and you walk in to the beautiful surroundings, you soon forget that :-)
A stunning and beautiful large Riad over many floors, with several terraces, a fabulous central garden with orange trees and a swimming pool. The upper terraces have a fantastic view over the surrounding countyside. A quiet location. No expense was spared refurbishing this property - it is absolutely stunning. The food - both breakfast and evening meal was to a 5 star hotel standard, as was the service from the super attentive staff. 100% I would love to stay here again. Once you are inside this Raid, you will not want to leave.

United KingdomBeautiful tiled interiors, and surprisingly cosy rooms which helped with the very cold weather outside. Nice library and carpeted communal spaces. Dinner and breakfast was excellent and the Gommage/ scrub treatment and Hamam wonderful. We would love to come back and experience the beautiful terraces in warmer weather.

United KingdomThe dining area was a little cool when we arrived but this was in mid-winter at 1000m. Everything else was absolutely perfect
The ambiance of the property is unique. Set in an old family home, it is a rambling house with numerous atmospheric, if steep, staircases. The room was actually a small suite with a sitting room, bedroom, reading nook, toilet and separate bathroom and a single bedroom in addition to the main room.
