Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI had the most wonderful and relaxing two nights at the Kasbah. Aziz is very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area, always willing to help out with routes and transport. The food was absolutely divine and well worth staying at the venue for, and the grounds were so calming. I can’t recommend enough

DenmarkNo air-conditioning in our room but was ok with windows opened, even though we visited mid July with 45 degrees celsius. 👍
We enjoyed our stay in this very unique hotel Kasbah! We loved the decoration and atmosphere. We were lucky to be the only vacationers and spent some time celebrating Aziz’s birthday :) very nice host. The outside area with swimming pool was amazing and so relaxing! Breakfast was very good too and fresh. We would love to come back to discover the region better and relax by the pool.

Costa Ricafood was OK, nothing to write home about. as a vegeterian, i ended up eating meat because there was no options provided, they just brought out plates of food. also, the floors in our room were dusty. the hammam was not mentioned to us by staff, so we went to have a look and it was closed / out of service. that was a bit of a shame. also, staff did not speak any english. communication was difficult, even with our basic french knowledge.
secluded, quiet, spacious and home-y. the interior is lovely and cool. lots of stone. we had a very relaxing stay.

HungaryAmazing location with amazing people and service. I highly recommend the hammam what you can use for a small extra fee. It's really worth it, it's authentic, you can see the stars after having a good hammam. The location is great, very quiet and the facility is superb and very family friendly as well. I cannot say anything wrong or "to be developed" :). If you arrive by car, it is very easy to make different trips to ouzoud for e.g. but the hotel itself also organizes very valuable trips. Plus the homemade food was excellent. We spent 12 days in Morocco altogether and this was the place where we ate the best dishes, no question. Usually the owner of the place is also around so you can chit-chat with him to have deeper knowledge of the area's or entire Morocco's history, daily life etc.

United StatesThere is not really anything to do in the immediate area. We walked around the grounds a bit, but there is not much to explore. Plenty to do if you are willing to drive 30-60 minutes. The grotto and cascades ozoud were both lovely, but did require a drive.
Great staff! Aziz was very helpful in arranging transportation to various sites in the area as well as from/to Marrakech. Rooms were fantastic! Very large and comfortable. Food was delicious.

United KingdomNothing.
We arrived in the evening and the Kasbah was beautifully lit. The Kasbah is surrounded by olive and pine trees, beautiful gardens and wildlife. There's an amazing panoramic view from the top of the hill that's worth the short walk. The food was really good, home-cooked and traditional. Ghislaine was really welcoming and started a fire when we arrived, and even let us on the roof to look at the stars. She also gave us a great recommendation for a walk at the spectacular natural bridge at Imi-n-Ifri which is just a short drive from the Kasbah.

NetherlandsWe selected this place because of the solid reviews. Aziz got a lot of compliments from previous visitors. But we think he wasn’t feeling very well when we arrived. He didn’t show himself at all. After having waited two and half hours (the cook brought us to our room), we knocked his door and clearly woke him up. We were the only guests that day and his behaviour was a bit odd to say the least. We don’t know him but our gut feeling told us this is not his normal attitude. Since we were the only guests that day we decided to leave. It’s a pity because the building and location looked promising. We found an alternative not far away. We hope Aziz is doing better and we will check them out again next time we are around.
Beautiful location and building. Well taken care of. The room was large and comfortable.
