Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsEverything was well at Tizimi and the pool fantastic. It was a relief compared to the modern all you can eat with entertainment places without any authentic look and feel that are popping up in the area.

NetherlandsA large group of foreign tourists who were noisy and enjoying their stay in their own bubble, took away some of the relaxed athmosphere. The hotel served alcohol in a somewhat smokey and bar with tables full of empy bottles and cans.
Nice architecture in Moroccan style. The garden and the location of the rooms around the wonderfull swimmingpool gave the hotel a fairytale like appearance.

SwitzerlandThis place seems to be an overnighter for group travels with elder people. It's very, very calm and peaceful until they arrive and literally flood the place, until they leave very early in the morning with their suitcases in the echoing hallways. Also it seems that this place is the only place in town where alcohol is served. Not only in the evenings but also at daytime there are a lot of people - locals, tourists, tourguides - and mostly men, sitting around, drinking beers and wine and literally staring at you, sitting at the pool even with clothes on. Very unpleasant. Also the staff was hard to deal with - at breakfast, everyone is super friendly and in the evening you get rude feelings. We didn't take it personally because we think it is because of the atmosphere there of groups arriving, leaving, being not the easiest to deal with in the tourism industry. Another point: The laundry service was the most expensive we've ever got in Morocco and the clothes were even bleached and smelled aggressive.
Beautiful kasbah building with a nice pool area. The hallways are very nice decorated and we had a nice and spacious room. We took a calm walk to the local city center, very nice place.

NetherlandsMissed some shade around the pool. The pool felt a bit dirty, and the lounge beds seemed gross. It seemed like locals came to drink (alcohol) there, which didn’t really add to the atmosphere. Couldn’t really relax there even though the kasbah and the pool should be able to facilitate something like that
Room was clean and comfortable, nice styling of the hotel. Hospitable security guy.

It’s a nice property with chill vibes. We landed here after our desert stay was canceled because of sandstorm. The breakfast is great. We also booked a desert tour with them which was a unique experience.

BelgiumSo the room we booked didnt actually resemble the pictures at all.. in the pictures, it was a moroccon-style, warm and cosy room, in reality the room was "upgraded" to be more modern, but it made it cold and not cosy at all.. the light was really unpleasant. We just wouldn't have booked this because we always chose more authentic places, but that is ofcourse a preference. They should definetly update the pictures of the rooms though. Another thing that needs some work is the shower. Our bathroom turned into a pool! And we couldnt adjust the head of the shower to prevent it .. Last thing: check out was at 12, the cleaning lady tried to come into our room at 9:30! I was showering at the time, with the bathroom door open. If the key hadn't been on the outside door.. she did this THREE times btw. NOT COOL, gave me a heart attack every freaking time. ALWAYS KEEP THE KEY ON THE DOOR!!!
The staff of the restaurant was really friendly and the food was delicious! The sitting area around the pool was really beautiful and the room was really big

SloveniaThe towels were in very bad condition, clean but with holes and stuff. Toilet seat was to small for the toilet and mounted all crooked and AC was only working on full (no sleep mode) so it was very loud at night.
If we put aside the fact that the whole property needs some work (it's a bit run down), it's a really pleasant place. All the stuff is super nice, nice patio and waiting area when you come through reception, pool is nice but needs a bit of cleaning, room was extra large with a canopy bed, fridge and a nice pool view. But like I said everything needs a little TLC. We had breakfast by the pool and the choice of dishes is slightly different then in other places.

NetherlandsLot of local men visiting the place to drink beers. Especially during low season, you really feel a tourist between the locals.
Very large room and a nice pool with a bar which serves some cold beers, sing-off for spending the evening, since Erfoud itself is not that interesting. Tip: if you have time, enjoy the 4x4 tour that the hotel offers.

It's a splendid base for anyone planning to venture further into the actual desert. Loved the pool, a mixture of fossils and local architectural style! We were given a free room upgrade and the staff was very helpful and sweet.

Hong KongThe food was just okay. We were happy to see a breakfast buffet, which we had not experienced in most other places we stayed in Morocco. The town itself is not very nice, and the hotel is 20 minute walk to the downtown area. There’s not very much around.
The rooms were very comfortable, the building itself is very nice. Easily the best part of this hotel was the pool, which we needed very badly.
