Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBetter lighting in the room but we understand the issues of electricity supply, which is outside the facility’s control.
Hara Oasis was the highlight of our travel through Dara Valley. Highly recommended by us. Its special location and ambiance get a “10”. Mr. Munoz, the owner, probably encountered the most severe obstacles since Sept 20 when much of the area had 30 inches of rain. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine the effort it has taken to put things right. Congrats to him and his glove-in-hand crew. Do not miss this special hotel. Mike & Estelle from Vermont

In the middle of the wide mountains this Lodge is like a paradise come true where you can relax, read, sleep and enjoy the silence of nature. We especially want to point out the splendid food. NetherlandsStaying at Hara Oasis was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. The owner and his family are incredible—extremely friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable. You can truly see how passionate and enthusiastic they are about their business. Every corner of the lodge is thoughtfully designed, making it a special experience. Everything you eat is from their garden, and the food is incredible. The lodge also offers the best views, with an incredible location in the middle of nature. We highly recommend this place and thank Juan and his family for making our stay a great experience -Berrasu & Nathan

CanadaStaying at Lodge Hara was the highlight of our time in Morocco! Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this peaceful desert Oasis. Beautiful garden and grounds with stunning mountain views. The brand new infinity pool is a nice touch and hosts go out of their way to ensure a memorable stay. Dinner was exquisite (our best tajine) and we particularly enjoyed bonding with the free roaming Peacock family strutting about the property.

GermanyWe had the most wonderful time here! The view of Djbel Kissane is stunning, the rooms and the whole design are lovely - the food quality was the best, the dinner we had was so, so tasty and the service was great. Also the fact that most of the food is cultivated on the farm there and the energy comes from solar energy is wonderful. When we stayed there they had just finished the swimming pool so we were able to have a refreshing swim after our walk to the Kasbah of Tamnougalt (recommended!). Shokran bzaf to the whole team, we hope to come back soon - inchallah!

SwedenThe road to the lodge was a bit challenging so recommend a decent car. Slightly cold at night but expected in January (and heating and thick blankets were available).
Amazing location a bit outside Agdz among palm trees and the (now unfortunately dried up) river. The huts/bungalows were very cute, there were several lounges/terraces/hang-out areas. Surreal view over the mountain from the main terrace. A close to nature feeling and a calm athmosphere. Amazing dinner, among the best we've had in Morocco. Highly recommend!

United KingdomDespite radiators being ‘on’ they didn’t do much to heat the room in winter. Dinner was a bit pricey.
Location is out of the way but very pretty. Nice walk to the village. Staff is friendly. Lots of private spaces the owner Juan and staff will show you. Bathroom was great, with plenty of hot water. Peacocks in the garden are very nice.

ItalyThe area is fighting desertification and they are building a swimming pool. That does not seem a sustainable choice.

ItalyThe Wi-Fi tends to get overloaded, though I suggest you use it minimally to look for routes / daily activities, and then just enjoy the place
Lovely structure in the middle of a palm grove. There is a terrace with a fantastic view on the mountains, where you can see beautiful sunsets. The lodges and the common areas are beautifully furnished and feel very cozy. The staff was very kind and serviceable. We had dinner on both nights we were there, and would strongly recommend it, as it was some of the best dinners we had in Morocco.

FranceBest part of our honeymoon! We are still overwhelmed by the beautiful mountain landscape, the greenery and the hospitality and kindness of the staff of the Hara Lodge. It is a lively oasis with green gardens, an amazing view and delicious authentic food (the best breakfast we had during our whole trip and great seasonal dinner). The staff was awaiting us with a traditional welcoming ceremony for newlyweds, a traditional romantic dinner in ceremonial clothing and a romantic honeymoon suite decorated with love and lighted by candles. It was a beautiful surprise and gift for our marriage! They also managed to organise a local artist to accompany our sunset dinner. We had the most magical time and are still full of gratitude for this experience and meeting these kind berber people. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything more and are certain to come back and to recommend this stay to our friends and family. Many thanks again to the most welcoming host Mohamed and the rest of the staff Khalifa, Amal, Naima, Meryem and so many more. All our best to Kevin and Daisy the peacocks 🦚, may their reign last forever!

United KingdomOur stay at Hara Lodge was amazing. The location is unique, very peaceful, and the scenery spectacular. The photographs don't do it justice. Our small bungalow was spacious and well appointed; set in a well tended garden. All the staff we encountered were friendly, polite and very helpful. The food was excellent, and the service very good. Nothing was too much trouble, and the proprietor Mohammed, was always on hand to assist. He organised a guided walk for us, which took us through the oasis to a nearby Kasbah, which was both beautiful and interesting. I cannot rate the experience too highly and would recommend the property in every way. We would certainly stay there again.

GermanyThe lodge is recommended - a beautiful place, every corner designed with love. It has many cozy oases of peace, also the garden area was beautiful. The peacocks as pets we find amazing. The dinner / breakfast was delicious :-) The room in a small cottage was very unusual, we liked it. We were there for one night and have to say that it was just too short unfortunately.
