Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomEverything was great, best to speak French for better communication.
We were greeted with tea and dates, and later invited to partake in breaking the fast that the hosts observed for Ramadan. We were off to an early start and the hosts got up and cooked us breakfast before we left. The tagline the night before was wonderful.

EstoniaNice small place to stay. Spent one night on our journey from Fes to Marrakesh. Friendly stuff, very clean and don’t be intimidated by surroundings- when you enter the gate, the small courtyard is very cosy and inviting.

SwitzerlandWe did a very spontaneous booking with them and when we arrived 40 Minutes later, they had everything cleaned and smelling nice. Basic Room and Bathroom but the Hostesse and her Mother were very friendly and acommodating. If you are passing through town or want something a little more authentic then i highly recommend le jardin d'habiba.

United KingdomI think I had booked a room with a private toilet/bathroom, but it ended up being across the corridor from our room. It wasn't en-suite. My wife wasn't the happiest. So, to other people booking, make sure you make note, and if preferable, book the room with proper en-suite bath. Not much else to complain about.
Slightly difficult to find, small name board. More like a homestay than a hotel. Definitely a homestay. You feel like you are a guest at someone's home. But the host ladies were so so welcoming and helpful. Mind you they speak only French and not a word of English. but all basic facilities were present - wifi, hot water, room heating. Communication via sign language and Google translate. But them ladies were very nice human beings. Great place for the price. The terrace is accessible and the views are amazing.

United KingdomThe door to the terrace catching on the floor and squealing loudly announcing to everyone in earshot that you are opening/closing the door.
Ideal overnight stop around half way between Fes and Ouarzazate. The ladies are very friendly and happily catered for my special diet. Room with private terrace and bathroom with scalding hot water and lovely garden to sit in.

United KingdomSomeone smoking late at night in the next room and their smoke blew through the verandah into ours was unpleasant
Very convenient to the route heading Marrakesh to Meknes/ Fes. Charming hostess who cooked us a delicious couscous and generally looked after us very well. Super nice comfy room with a lovely airy space and a day bed where you can pretend you are a Pasha. Incredible value and kindness made this a great place for a stopover

United KingdomThe room was a bit dusty. Also, we didn’t get hot water in the morning, but this may be on us as we couldn’t communicate our query due to a language barrier.
It worked very well as a night time pit stop during our long journey. The hostess was really friendly and hospitable, and she provided an excellent vegan meal for dinner at a very reasonable price.

United KingdomThe property is quite isolated from amenities so you need to either eat there or before you arrive. No heating in the rooms -but nice comfy blankets we're provided.
The property is in a great spot and has some fantastic mountain views from the roof. Was met and welcomed with tea and biscuits. Had the meal on offer and it was great value-decent breakfast.

FranceThis is out in the country so expect some animal noises during the night and Habiba's cockerel is a very early riser !
Habiba was lovely - warm and welcoming. Complimentary tea and sweet treats in the garden on arrival. Safe parking for my motorbike inside the back yard. She made me a vegetarian tagine (by prior arrangement) and it was the best I've had in Morocco with produce from her garden.

United KingdomWe had no hot water during our stay and wifi was slow. The dinner provided for 80 MAD was very small and basic- a tiny Moroccan salad, brochettes with nothing else and a small desert. The tagine was slightly better. Breakfast was very simple but in accordance with the price paid for the room. It was probably our own fault due to poor language skills but we felt that we were a bit of a nuisance and not particularly welcome.
It was reasonably priced and a good location for stopping over. Reverse a/c was available to heat the room.

IndonesiaThe breakfast was poor, worse than a 30 dirhams normal coffee breakfast. A bottle of liquid hand soap found in the shower, without normal soap and shampoo that normally prepared in the hotel. I felt the property owner wasn't prepared to welcome the guests. No proper parking space.
The room was upgraded, however both are without TV. The house keeper seems very responsive.

United KingdomEasy to find. Location given was accurate and the exterior image of the property helped a lot We were able to park 3 fully laden motorcycles within the property which was great for the sense of security. Food offered on the evening was simple tagine fare but was absolutely fabulous. Our hosts were lovely and we all managed the language barrier well!
