My main complaint is the mattresses are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Toilets are shared out in the hallway, but they were clean. The lack of an awesome vacuum leaves the area rugs needing some cleaning, but wasn't a big deal. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

My friend get robed at night by the balcony (room 14). She opened her eyes and saw the robber in her room. She already wrote a review about it. After that experience, the hotel wanted to offer her restaurant, hamam or even taxi just waiting for her to don't talk about this story. She refused everything. She thought people need to know what happened, and be careful if they go there to properly close the doors and windows by night. Most of the staff were nice with us. Except one receptionist who was always a bit sarcastic with her, and very not pleasant, considering the situation. After she wrote her review, he call me and send me messages, and told me that I should convince my friend to erase her message, that I need to trust him, that my friend is crazy, it was only her fault cause the balcony was not properly close... So, if you go there, be careful with the balcony and doors, and probably be careful with that receptionist guy...

Where to begin? I was robbed in the middle of the night at this hotel. Room 14. A robber entered my room at 5 a.m., came through the balcony to the room and stole my phone. I woke up because of a rustling sound a few centimeters from my bed and started to scream. After that I spent the entire next day at the police station investigating the robbery. Most of the hotel staff were sympathetic, but I can’t say that about everyone. One of the administrators asked me to keep silence about this situation and leave it “between us.” I do not intend to do this, because I want to warn future hotel guests about what happened to me so that they remain vigilant, lock the balcony door and make their choice about staying in this hotel before booking. In addition to the great stress associated with the robbery, I would also like to note that the condition of the shower room is deplorable: a broken faucet and a leaking sink didn’t help a lot to have any comfort of being there. Also Wi-Fi did not work at all in the room on the top floor where I stayed.

Super nice hotel! Great location in the center of the Medina. Great service, and friendly staffs . Abdellah was so friendly and helpful and answered all my questions and gave me a list of places to visit while I was in Tangier. Great guy! Overall, everything was nice and very comfortable. I would surely choose it again next time I visit Tangier. I Would definitely recommend hotel Maram.

The bathrooms reeked of sewage. The provided towels had stains on them. The rooms have no air conditioning or fans in the 37 degree heat. Very noisy location.

if you have a lot of luggage, its a little bit of a walk inside the city where cars are generally not allowed. make sure you have a god map because all the little streets and patch in the old city are like a maze, but really cool and cultural.

i wish we would have stayed here longer. the room was soooo cool with like a 60 ft/ 20 m ceiling. great ac. we had to leave early to merzouga so we missed breakfast.

Bath room was not good, Smells like you cant breath, No Air Conditioner in room (Actually mostly no AC in other places also) But there is no Fan in the room as well. temperature was high in day time, can not sit in the room, in night time can not sleep due to sweeting and temperature. Actually we should call it hostel rather than Hotel.

Location is great, Old City, Old Market, walking distance from many historic places. Tomb of Ibn Batota etc.

No air-conditioning, and as the street is very busy and noisy it is a pain to keep the window open The mosque is right in front of the hotel si expect to be awaken by the muezin.

The location inside the Medina and close to the port. Good value for money. Clean shower and shared restroom.

Absolutely no mode of cooling - even a fan would've been suffice. Was so hot, didnt manage to sleep and needed to step out of room for cooler air.

The location was very good for easy an easy walk to everywhere to you need including the ferry.
