We had to kill some cockroaches, the shower was dirty, the bedlinen was dusty, very noisy outside, and no airco. We checked out earlier and booked a clean hotel at the boulevard instead.

Friendly staff and colourful interior. We thought it was a good location, but it was not. Situated in the old medina with homeless and party people walking through the street of the hotel all night.

Nothing could have been better. Our expectations were beyond exceeded and we are already trying to plan our next trip back. This time we want to stay longer since four days was not enough! I hope to make this our place to stay for all future trips to Tangier.

The location was incredible since it was in the heart of the Medina but on a side street so not too busy or noisy. Abdou and his brother were beyond helpful and kind and gave us a ton of great recommendations for restaurants, attractions, places to visit and generally how to make the most of our time in Tangier. They were so friendly and awesome that we want to come back to Tangier just to hang out with them! We had a great time getting to know the City thanks to them.

I suppose for the price I should not have been surprised but the place was tired and felt dirty, bathroom especially. If you are young and comfort isn't that important then this place might work for you, I'm too old to want to put it up with it.

Staff were extremely helpful, spoke good English. Location in the Old Medina put everything I was in Tangier to do within walking distance. The rooftop sitting area had a nice view up to the Kasbah and out over the sea.

The hotel is in a great position to visit both the city and the medina. The roof terrace gives a beautiful view on the sea, while on the other side the view in on April 9th square.

Abdul and his brother were so kind and helpful to us the whole weekend! We got upgraded when we arrived and our hotel room was beautiful, spacious and clean. They let us enter the room when it was clean before the official check in time also! The roof is gorgeous with tables and chairs and a stunning view of the Medina and Port. Highly highly recommend this hotel!!

While the location is good (in the medina and very close to the 9 April square), it is also very noisy and the windows do not help. They were quite bad and we couldn’t close them well so at midnight we could hear all the cars and people, etc. as if we were outside with them. I imagine in summer this could be quite a nightmare. Even if we cannot say it for sure, we imagine that the blankets or bedcovers were used by someone else before. Towels had a color that did not resemble the original one. And a few more things that I will not describe because I guess the property is aware of.

The hotel is located in the Medina, close to Gran Socco and Petit Socco, which are two main points for visitors. Everything historical was reachable walking. The area is also very safe and well connected with the rest of the city. The owner was available for any query (in person and WhatsApp) and suggestion.

The bed pillows and bedding smelled of stale sweat. There was no clean cover on a sort of duvet - it had stains. Unbelievably cheap - so you get what you pay for I suppose.

Location: Right in the heart of the old town / kasbar One of the staff spoke food English (though he wasn’t there all the time). They allowed us to leave bags. Unbelievably cheap.

Everything was fantastic, the location in the medina was great, lots of places to see, excellent street food. Abdou the manager could not have been nicer, as a solo traveller he made me feel more than welcome, recommended lots of things to see, places to visit, restaurants cafes etc, even went as far as sending me everything on Watsapp.

Amazing! There's a very nice terrace with amazing view. The rooms are very comfortable, and staff very attentive, warm and hospitable! 100% recommend! I wish I could stay longer there! This is the best hotel I've ever stayed I will definitely return to Tanger for holiday!

Great location for the medina, staff super helpful very friendly we were given better rooms at no extra cost and after check out they looked after our bags until pick so had an extra day sightseeing
