Food was good but could be better.

Really lovely people, location is such a beautiful and tranquil spot. wonderful eclectic mix of animals and nature… lovely place for couples and families who want to get away from the hustle. Great walks arranged from the lodge around surrounding hills.

We didn’t know there was an a la carte menu until a couple of days in, as it wasn’t visible on the tables or in the room, so we were glad to find out so we could order some things other than the menu of the day (salad, tagine and dessert), for lunch/dinner.

Beautiful gardens, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, easy to relax and be in and around the pool, with delicious breakfast and a variety of meals for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. I like that they grow salads and other vegetables there, and take care of the birds and animals on site (including peacocks and rabbits).

Peacock was quite noisy at times but beautiful as well. He was trying to impress the Pea Hen whilst we were there which was maybe why he was so vocal

I loved the decor of our room, and all the beautiful carpets on the floor. Apart from our own room, I loved how many inviting shared rooms there were to relax in, and how many patios. Whether we wanted shade or sun, there were a number of delightful spots to choose from. I also loved the dinners in the garden.

Stunning location with lovely staff who were very attentive. Grounds were peaceful and very calming, but they do have a few peacocks around who can be a little noisy. That being said, we still loved it!

We loved the sounds of the animals on the property, all the beautiful spots to sit and relax, the pool area, the incredible sunsets and view of the stars at night. It is a remote location and was perfect for us after a busy 10 days touring the country. The staff were so friendly and attentive and we wanted to stay longer than our three nights. Mohamed, the manager, was truly delightful. we felt so welcomed and we hope to return one day.

The Ouirgane Ecolodge was really cool to stay! The food was great, the staff very friendly. We did a 14km hike from the lodge with a donkey with our 3 kids. So relaxed and beautiful compared to Imlil. We booked the familyroom which was great and clean. There is a swimmingpool, but in March far too cold :). Breakfast was amazing.

Animal hutches could have been cleaner

Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful animals only thing making a noise: peacocks, frogs and turtles. Bunnies and also goats and chickens in hatches. Mohammed the manager was very helpful and multilingual. Beautiful cactus garden. stunning view from balcony. Big moroccan breakfast and diner. Cook was excellent and showed how she cooked the flat bread in the tandoor

The food on the menu was very healthy but i did not find it very flavourful. The hotel is a little further out of the way than I expected -This is a place to stay if you intend on hiking in the area or relaxing out of the city. The cooking class was fun but a little basic and felt a bit overpriced. The taxi in the city wasn't sure where to go at first, but with a bit of time, he managed to figure it out and I paid 250 Dirham from Marrakech centre to the hotel.

Mohammad was very friendly and always happy to give advice. I can't eat gluten so the staff very kindly provided me with a lot of alternatives for breakfast - fruit and salad, yoghurt, eggs - it was enough to fill me for the whole day! They even kindly provided an alternative to couscous when I ordered tagine for dinner one night! Plenty of hot water for showers - a luxury after a long walk! There are very vocal frogs living in the pond which is great if you like soothing sounds to fall asleep to - which I do :)

Nothing, we had a great time!

We booked the day before and this place really exceeded our expectations. The rooms were big and comfortable and the gardens beautiful, with lots of cute places to sit and enjoy the sun or sunset. The communal breakfast/ dinner was cosy and warm and the food great. It was also a great place to meet fellow travellers. Would definately return!

Rooms are not highly equipped against the cold. Windows couldn't completely close and were single glass.

Very warm welcome by the host and beautiful location. We stayed there during the winter so it was quite cold. The strongest asset of the Ecolodge is the heated dining room. It's cozy, beautifully decorated, warm and they serve some of the best food we've had in Morocco (and for reasonable prices!). Great place also to meet other travellers. Would definitely return.

The staff was very attentive and very friendly. Our rooms were a good size and very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner as well as a plentiful breakfast with a variety of foods. The location was easy to find and the property was very tranquil. The property also arranged a wonderful local guide for our half-day hike. We wish we had the time to stay longer.

Beautiful setting with amazing staff and excellent food (with different veggie and European choices). Booked a walking tour with Ahmed which was fantastic- he was so informative. My husband had to do some online meetings and the property were so helpful in arranging for him to have the facility to do so.
