Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

This is the Riad we were looking forward the most on our trip. And we weren't disappointed. After a short drive up to the RIAD we were heartily welcomed into this beautiful complex. It looks amazing from inside and outside. Lovely decorated and our room was really nice. We had dinner there which was very good. Overall - highly recommended. And we had a nice star sky as well.

United KingdomRooms were set around communal area and window onto it so had to close shutters so people could not see in. The room was quite dark and it could have been noisy if people in communal area were chatting. Luckily the guests staying were very quiet. Not enough surfaces in room or bathroom to put things on.
Riad designed in traditional style - very beautifully decorated. Large, comfortable communal sitting area in the middle of Riad. Lovely outside terraces to savour the views and watch the stars which were magnificent because of the darkness of the location. Room was comfortable and nice breakfast. Heater in bathroom which was a bonus in the cold morning. Away from noise and hustle and bustle of town.

NetherlandsWe stayed two nights but I think one would have been enough. Not much else to do than to visit the ksar. Especially if it is too cold to use the pool
Stayed here two nights. Staff were very friendly. They made a vegan dinner for my partner and also remember in the morning for breakfast. The food itself was okay. The rooms were also okay. The location is quite nice and is within walking distance from the ksar. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool.

United KingdomWe were unlucky to stay there at the same time as a big group of people, who did not get the "silence" part of the paradise and stayed up all night drinking and arguing.
Place with a lot of character and ambience, lovely fireplace to sit by in the evening, terraces to enjoy the view, a delicious and generous dinner! Very cool experience!

GermanyOne of the most astonishing stays during our road trip across Morocco’s South. Besides very delicious breakfast and dinner options as well as traditionally and careful decorated common areas and rooms (which are equally beautiful) it’s the location in itself that is a dream come true. No matter if from the pool or from the little hill climb behind the paradise, one has the most incredible view over the entire town, Kasbah and valley until your eyes vanish into the 360 horizons.

ChileThe room was also in the open area, thus it was not very silent in the morning. The toilet was clean, but for some reason a bit smelly.
The place was located in a small hill with a beautiful view. Nicely decorated, and very nice open area with a fireplace that makes it even cozier. People were super kind.

GermanyNot negative, only information: There is no real road to the Riad, which is no problem with any kind of car, so use Maps and watch out for the many signs :) and bring öight to walk down to the city in the dark
- on the hill over the city, so a bit isolated and really silent. - Everything was nice and the pool area looked also really good for swimming in warmer months

United KingdomHaving received a message earlier to say that our room was ready for us, we arrived after a four hour drive to be met by surprise and the news that our room had been given to someone else. This was resolved in ten minutes as they had another room but we could have done without those ten minutes. Otherwise, 10 out of 10.
The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the main site. The room, facilities and breakfast were excellent. It's a beautiful place.

Overall
United StatesWhile I had hot water all three days, my wife faced one cold shower and another couple told us they were without hot water for a day and a half. But I think they were fixing it.
Packed full of cheesy "Berberish" decor and deserty motif, carpets and tea sets, surrounding a faux fountain, we loved this place! Mud brick plaster on the walls with the embedded straw, you are living and feeling the kasbah dream. All the hotel amenities are there, comfy beds, hairdryer, clean and spacious rooms. There is a swimming pool with ample terrace seating to drink your afternoon glass of wine. And they will chill your white wine in the fridge. No view of the ksar from the terrace, but you hear no noise from the village or highway. It's called silence! The restaurant serves very good meals, as good as any in Morocco, so far. This is not a 5 star hotel, but a real live jewel in the desert. We would recommend.
