Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyBeautiful Riad in a good location. The interior was very clean and with beautiful decoration. They also had nice places to sit outside and a very nice swimming pool. The staff was kind and the food also good. So in total there is nothing bad to say. It was really perfect and we would always like to come back!

Czech RepublicThe wifi and the location of the hotel isn't great. It's on the outskirts of the town, so the access to the city is better by a car, not mentioning the mud road leading to the hotel.
The riad is very comfortable a fully equipped with everything necessary. The room was huge and very comfortable. Even though there was no reception and no info upon our arrival, the host automatically prepared dinner for us. The staff was very nice and helpful. I could imagine staying for a longer time, since one night wasn't enough to try all the lounging areas the hotel offers. I really liked the breakfast, even though, the dinner was a bit plain and could benefit from some seasoning.

NetherlandsThe location of the hotel is about 5-10 minutes walking from the main street and another 5-10 minutes more to Äit Ben Haddou which. Located above the sall village you have a beautifull view over the surrounding area. There is also an idyllic small swimming pool to cool down after a hoth day in the dessert. Food was great aswell.

United KingdomTh drive upto the Riad was a little rough.
Our stay at the Riad was comfortable. Th reviews were absolutely fantastic. As I was traveling with my mum we had booked twin beds, but had a double, not the end of the world though. The food was good, not exceptional, but OK.

United KingdomUnfortunately, my son left some medication behind which was expensive medication and they threw it away the following day within hours of us leaving and when we called them the same day and asked them to try and locate it they informed us that it had been thrown away and that the rubbish had been already removed from the property. My son as a consequence had to pay £30 for replacement medication.
The property was lovely, very characterful and comfortable and a good breakfast

CanadaPrice was too much for what we got for both accommodation and food. Maybe it's the Unesco site so they can charge more? Would pay 60€ anywhere else in morocco for this experience.
Location was on edge of town which was nice and quite. Neat common area with sofas. Washroom was nice, one of the most functional and clean we've seen.

PortugalWe choose this hotel because they said on booking that they it was possible to charge our electric car. 30 minutes after arriving there was a electricity outage for 2 hours. When it ended it wasn't possible to charge our car due to the lack of voltage to do it. So the next day we had to go back to a public charger and wait 3 hours for the car to charge.
The breakfast was OK.

BelgiumThe pool very old and the filtering system was off. In general, everything looked aged. The shower knob old and malfunctioning. The structure of the Riad is original and nice but there are too many pieces of furniture, local decorations, frames which render the everything too much! More expensive of other better Riad where we lodged in our trip
The host allowed us to store our alcohol in his fridge, thanks! If you plan to visit Ait Ben Hadou kasbah , then the proximity of this Riad is a plus

NetherlandsUnsurfaced, partly steep road necessary to reach accommodation (c 800m), is however no problem for a saloon car. Compared to other (original) riads (like Marouane in Meknes, that serves excellent food) the evening meal for a set price was tasty but limited.

CanadaFlies. Cats and dogs in the dining area. Beds were hard like everywhere in Morocco. Looks like your going through a rough gravel construction site to get to it. Lack of choice for meals.
Quiet location near everything. Nice pool. AC was good. Good water pressure and hot water.

United KingdomIt’s quite out of town. Set back from the road down a bumpy, dusty track and then up a steep rutted driveway. Not Ideal if arriving by motorcycle, we had an adventure bike with knobbly tyres so were alright, otherwise it would have been tricky. They do not serve alcohol, regardless of what website said. The only drink option is water or tea. Not even a Coke or juice. Garden view room does not have a view of the garden (there isn’t one) or a private entrance, or a terrace. Dinner is served at a determined time regardless of when you want it and there is no choice (which is not unusual for Morocco) but it was quite bland. Breakfast ok and you do get to decide what time you have it. It felt a bit like a good quality hostel.
Clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor area with pool and loungers. Inside was nice, lounge area with sofas and board games. On a clear night the stars are fabulous. Staff were friendly.
