Stay for a night. Sand dune is behind the guesthouse. Walking distance. Can see sunset. Host friendly & helpful. Offer excursions such as camel ride & 4w to catch sunset. Good breakfast & dinner.

Beautiful place with extraordinary inventory. Food was outstanding, particularly the breakfast. Location 3 min away from the dunes.

We booked 2 rooms with AC. But apparently there is only one room with AC in the hotel and it was occupied at the time we arrived. We booked on very short notice though. Since the rooms we got had no AC it was too hot to sleep inside (we visited during summer), so we slept outside on the floor. Our host and the people at planet sahara made sure they made it as comfortable as possible and the view into the night sky with all the stars was great.

The main reason the stay at this hotel was great, were the people. Mohammed was very friendly and made us feel like family from the first night. We shared stories, typical food and he made sure we had everything we needed. From good breakfast and lunch to organizing all our desert tours right from the hotel. We booked a night in the desert with camel ride and a quad tour and had a great time. Would not recommend to go to the sahara in the summer though, is was crazy hot.

All and everything was just GREAT! In the end, we received gifts from our hosts in such quantities that we bought extra luggage for djellabas, scarves and small souvenirs. We thank them very much and see you next time!

The food was original, homemade, very tasty, also in excessive quantities. Small break we had was used by the hosts to offer us tea and tell a story about their ordinary desert life. We especially like bread and pancakes offered. The warm welcome, the kindness of the host Mohamed and his associates, excellent accommodation, staying in a typical desert hut, and everything else, such as the possibility of doing laundry, which we could not even do in hotels.

The place has a big patio with parking, tents and chairs. The room was spacious and comfortable. Mohammed and his staff were always helpful. We had dinner together 1 night and we felt like our own place. Thank you Mohammed. We'll see you again. iin sha' allah!

We had booked the place for stay but found ourselves being forcefully setup for safari. There was a sandstorm which made us reluctant to go for safari but the owner mohammad was pushy and had no regards for our safety and wanted us go for safari despite the bad weather so that he could make some money. That really threw us off made us feel really uncomfortable

The room doesn't match the description on the confirmation form (Balcony • Terrace • Lake view • Garden view • Mountain view • Landmark view...). There was no air conditionner, tv and towels as described in the booking confirmation.

I had such a good time! Actually, I didn't expect anything before I visited this accommodation. Because there weren't many reviews. But the owner was very kind, and he gave mint tea for the guest, had a campfire at night, and sang. The accommodation is so clean and warm water comes out well. I'm going to this dorm again:-) thank you so much!

Authentic place right next to the dunes!

A really nice place and very nice people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. In the night it has a very nice atmosphere decorated with lights. We didn't do any activity coz we didn't have much time but walked to the dunes as it's very close. Mohamed and his brother can offer you all kind of activities you want to do. Either a night in the camp, a walk with the camels through the dunes, a tour to a nomad place, mine or other places around by 4x4. We arrived early in the morning with the night bus from Fes and they allowed us to check right away in the early morning. Afterwards they offered us tea and had a very nice chat with Mohammeds brother. I would recommend this place and would have stayed longer if we had had the time for it.

Mohamed our host was amazing , he made us feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable , super clean and very pretty. The whole house and yard are very charming and right next to the sand dunes. It is the perfect place to experience the moroccan hospitality and to start a trip to the desert , wich our host arranged for us and it was perfect and very good value. We highly recommand this place!

We absolutely loved Planet Sahara and can't wait to go back ❤ Mohamed & Aziz were the perfect hosts and could not do enough for us, always lovely Moroccan tea & coffee available and a fantastic breakfast every morning. Lovely room with very comfortable bed and hot shower in a traditional Berber house which was stunning. They organised a camel trek for us to spend a night in the Sahara desert in a camp & wish we had time to do the 4×4 trip to explore the Sahara. We will do it next time as we will definitely be booking another stay at Planet Sahara. We were fortunate enough to celebrate the end of Ramadan with Mohamed and he cooked us an amazing goat tagine. We loved it so much we booked another night.
