Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaPersistent pressure to buy a desert tour, after repeated refusals. Which evolved into bad service, a burnt chicken tagine that was over an hour late in coming. Followed by beiing ignored awhile until late. Poor attitude.
Beautiful place. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

CanadaI didn't like feeling pushed to book a desert tour, either camel or 4x4. I especially didn't like being harassed for the first few days, even after I'd adamantly declined several offers. Maybe this is why the hotel dude, Brahim, a hustler in a black-leather jacket and black head scarf, changed his demeanor toward me from amicable (welcome my friend) to brotherly (can you replace the paper in the toilets?), when he wasn't bumming smokes and making promises he would never keep. Good service doesn't need to be a big drama, delivered with hand on heart solemnity at every opportunity. It can also be found in the small, personal gestures between meals and cups of tea. In genuine interest in a guest's story, and in actually hearing what they're trying to say. My current hostess, Fatima, has barely been seen since I checked in. But I know that she knows that I have everything I need. Especially the quiet lack of mellow drama.
Prende ton temps, or "Take your time" if you're not bilingual, is an appropriate name for this hotel. It's a practical, spiritual desert philosophy. It can also be a warning not to expect things to appear quickly.. I was there six days, taking my time, enjoying the chill vibe of the place, finding many relaxing moments. The large, spread out setting helped a lot.

CanadaThe hotel's name is appropriate: Both a philosophy and a warning. Don't be in a hurry for anything. Inadequate amount of staff to take care of things, resulting perhaps in long delays with dinner, one time burnt. Shared toilets could have used more attention, especially keeping them supplied with toilet paper. I would not want to be there when it was busy. It seems Brahim, maybe a manager or maybe just hired help, seemed more focused on hustling desert tours than providing service. He alternated between obsequious and petulant. Hungover once (although it was New Years Day). Kept promising to deliver some local goods, but never came through. Made for overly dramatic situations in which I felt I had to accommodate him, like I was family, not a guest, so I should perhaps clean my own toilet? Not a reliable guy, in my opinion. Perhaps Bilaid should hire more women. They work harder and are more reliable. Overall, good value for money, despite the Faulty Towers dynamic. Photo of Brahim on his phone while "entertaining" guests.
A beautifully designed and constructed place, with art, flowers and plants, tent-like dining spaces, a quiet terrace to enjoy views of palm trees, and about 20 rooms holding maybe 45-50 guests when full. Lots of potential. The owner, Bilaid, was typically welcoming and friendly. Although he was a bit too laid back at times for my tastes. I stayed here six relaxing nights, and might return if a few improvements were made.

CanadaQuite expensive for what you got, especially compared to similar properties in Morocco. Washrooms were not very clean nor were toilet paper or soap provided. I also had to keep politely refusing to be shuttled to the staff’s brother’s store to browse.
Room was comfortable and as pictured, breakfast was good, property was very nice. I was greeted with tea which was nice. Walking distance to bus stations.

CanadaSomeone could have put more attention into service areas, like toilets, kitchen, etc. perhaps also in having more staff on hand to take care of things. Actions speak louder than words. Constant professions of welcome and even 'brotherhood' sound empty if the service doesn't arrive, or if it's substandard.
Quiet, peaceful, attractive. Someone clearly put some effort into the buildings, gardens, etc.
