Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainSumptuous, the most beautiful establishment I've ever seen in Morocco. The service is magnificent. Worthy of a palace from Arabian Nights. My heart of hearts and my little piece of paradise now. The price is incredible for a magical place like Riad Chama

United KingdomMy husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful Riyadh for a few days. This place is truly a gem in the heart of the old medina. You can access the markets in less than 10 minutes on foot. When we arrived at the riyadh, we were greeted by the incredible Nousair who showed us around the riyadh and the terrace. He escorted us to our room and was available for any questions or help finding the best places to visit near us. He also helped us arrange a hammam for us, which I had to experience in Fez (reviewed separately). We had breakfast as part of our stay, but we also wanted to try dinner and had the chicken pastilla and the tajin accompanied by an appetizer (I can't remember the name) and their exotic drinks and mojito (non-alcoholic). We really enjoyed it all. Two other staff members (whose names I unfortunately forgot to know) were also there to help and serve breakfast. Finally, Brother Yussef who helped us with our very heavy luggage as well as the long walk to the hammam was a pleasure to meet. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again in the future inshallah. Thank you for your amazing hospitality.

CyprusThe riad is a magical place, with all the necessary amenities in a room, a breathtaking view of the medina, and exceptional customer service. I'm so grateful to have been able to stay there! The rooms are beautifully decorated. Nousair, andchama the manager are the ones who made this place so wonderful and unforgettable. They were always available and ready to help us with any task: hammam recommendations, room service, mint tea, and even help with bags after a long day of shopping (guilty!). I also recommend the riad's freshly prepared food. Their breakfast buffet was also delicious. In short, I'm a huge fan. I'm truly grateful for the experience I had there, and I'll never forget them.

ItalyI had an unforgettable stay at the riad. It is beautifully renovated and located just a stone's throw (or the blue gate) from the city's main attractions. It's the ideal place to stay because from the riad, you can do everything on foot. If you want to go on an excursion outside the city, a taxi can be ordered from the riad. Thank you to Mr. Bennis and the riad staff for their welcome and for all the attention they give to each of their guests. I have never felt so welcome. The services deserve a five-star rating. The rooms are beautiful, well-kept, and spacious. The breakfast is delicious and very varied. The lounges are pleasant both day and night. Even the air is filled with a scent (of roses?) that transports you. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the medina and its surroundings. Staying here is like treating yourself to an enchanted interlude of rest, indulgence, and warm human relationships. We look forward to staying here again.

ItalyWe stayed 3 nights in mars 2025in this sublime riad in chefchaouen, ideally located in the narrow streets, 05minutes from the medina. First of all, the staff is very friendly and responds to all requests. We took the airport shuttle and were escorted to the riad. The riad itself—what more can I say except that it's sublime! 😊 Very well decorated, spread over two floors with a large panoramic terrace where breakfast is served. The two pools are small but perfectly complement the atmosphere of the place. It's very Instagrammable. We stayed in the Tawlab room, which is very beautiful, with air conditioning, and overlooks one. The room was very well decorated. The food is also excellent: the breakfasts are generous and delicious (yogurts, Moroccan pancakes, fresh juices, f, breads, etc.). We also had the special dinner one evening. A delight! (Excellent tagine and excellent crumble 😋) The chef cooks very well

RussiaWe spent three days at this riad, where the welcome was exceptional. Everything was meticulously planned, and our arrival was perfectly organized, from the airport to our room check-in. The staff was both discreet and helpful, making this stay remarkable and making us feel like we were special. This place is truly magnificent, captivating, worthy of a thousand and one nights. Breakfast is a truly high-quality brunch that we can enjoy at our leisure in our room, on the terrace, or inside the riad. The room is serviced morning and evening, with linens changed and products restocked. Everything is thought out down to the smallest detail. Across from the riad, there is a very pleasant rooftop restaurant and lounge to discover (La Terrasse des Arts). We thank the entire riad team for their great professionalism, which made our stay unique and memorable.

United Kingdomthese | Friends Words are hard to describe our stay at Riad .Everything was fantastic, starting with the welcome we received upon arrival! The entire team took great care of us from the moment we got up until the moment we went to bed and offered excellent advice for exploring the city. The breakfasts are delicious (even if there's a lack of fruit). We visited several riads during our stay, but this is undoubtedly the most beautiful we've seen. It's a true haven of peace in the heart of the bustling Medina of chefchaouen The riad has a pleasant terrace for sunbathing, although it's a shame the pool isn't on the rooftop but on the ground floor. The terrace is pleasant in the evening for dining or relaxing. The decor is tasteful and stylish, and the fountains throughout the riad diffuse a scent of roses... a true olfactory journey! In short, if this riad is available for booking, don't hesitate for a second!

GermanyOur stay coincided with the winter season, which increased our comfort and enjoyment of the Chafchaouen winter atmosphere. The room was quiet and warm, overlooking a small blue courtyard. The beds were comfortable and large, and the riad was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, courtesy of the helpful staff, Fatima and Khadija.

United StatesA family-friendly riad par excellence. If you book five rooms, you'll have the riad to yourself, as if it were your own private home. The five rooms were lovely, and the riad was spotlessly clean. Our host, Fatima, took great care of us and prepared breakfast for us every morning. You can also have breakfast in your room. The directions from reception helped us book a guide who accompanied us throughout our days in Chefchaouen. The restaurants (Triana Restaurant) were among the best recommendations. The riad also organized hours of female music, as we were a family.
