Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo much to say in this area, might be a little bit of noise in the patio from the rooms, but nothing major
The corkiness of the place make the difference. The location is fantastic just a few meters from the Jemaa el-Fna square. The owner couple and all their staff they couldn't do any more to please us, including sandwiches for our late flight!! The roof terrace is a nice pace to have a drink after a long day discovering the fantastic live of Marrakesh!! Breakfast absolutely fantastic!! Best tagine in town!!

AustriaIt’s absolutely beautiful and very central, but the best part about it were the people. Noureddine and his colleagues made us feel very welcome and they helped us with whatever we needed. Fully recommended if you want to feel genuinely cared about!

United KingdomThe room had a window with no shutter facing into the centre of the riad (not great for privacy) and there was no working lock on the bathroom door (and it wouldn’t stay shut to).
Everyone was lovely and super helpful! The riad is beautiful and in an amazing location!

NetherlandsBecause we were on the bottom floor, the room could be a little bit noisy from activity of other guests. But the place was very quiet at night
Lovely and very attentive staff, comfortable and clean room just redecorated, and very central location just of the main square. Easy to find as well. The rooftop teras has a great view and a jacuzzi.

SingaporeNothing, it was honestly perfect.
Exceptional! Full of so many details and love ❤️ We tried two rooms and both were beautiful and super comfortable. Even more, later we stayed in more expensive properties in Marrakech… and Riad Zitoune was by far the best, even comparing to €200/night options!!! Also, there is quiet terrace upstairs so I was able to work and make some zoom calls, which was super convenient. The last but not the least: you HAVE to try their zaalook. Gosh, it was the tastiest thing we tried in thw whole Morocco! The kitchen was pretty good in general.

United StatesWe were warmly greeted by the staff on arrival. They met us just outside the Medina to transfer our luggage from the car to the hotel. Abdo (Abderrahim) made sure we were settled in and oriented, We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor that were well appointed in the quaint Riad.. Just a short walk to the square and souks. Breakfast was very tasty and changed up a bit daily. We met the owner, Alexandra, who was very pleasant and informative. The staff found out it was my wife's birthday and surprised her with a dress that she liked very much. Noureddine was very helpful and gave us some shopping tips. Every day the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and it was well reflected in our interactions with them. It was so nice to escape a day of hustle and bustle in the souks and square to retreat to the comfort of Riad 11 and the hospitable staff.

United StatesThe door of the toilet could have a knob from inside. It was hard to open the door from inside the toilet.
We stayed at Riad 11 Zitoune for 5 nights and had a wonderful time there! We enjoyed talking with Abdo, the manager who was very responsible and friendly. He gave us useful information about the city. The atmosphere at the Riad was always warm and cozy thanks to all the members of the staff. Clean room, tasty breakfast, great location! We would absolutely recommend this place and choose this place for our next trip to Marrakech.

SwedenNothing to complain about at all.
We really enjoyed our stay in this Riad. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and hospitable, and we would like to extend a special thanks to Driss, Nouredine, and Abderahim, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly enjoyable. The Riad's location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the breakfast was absolutely delightful. The staff's warmth and attentiveness added an extra touch of charm to our experience. We are already looking forward to returning to Marrakech soon and staying at the same Riad.

United Statesone of the staff greeted us way from the Riad but he didn’t help with bigger luggage. I didn’t know that I could get a buggy to carry luggage the larger negative was that they said there was was 32 euro city tax wasn’t included in the booking. even though the amount is small but didn’t like the surprise
location was excellent. but bd aware that car doesn’t go at the property due to narrow alley. in about 5-7 minutes walk from a larger road. you can also rent a buggy to carry your luggage

MaltaPerhaps could be a bit cheaper considering the general price level in Morocco. But still not crazy expensive if you book well in advance.
The best riad we stayed during our 10 day trip to Morocco. Very close to the main market square in the Old City of Marrakech (2-3 min walk), which made it a perfect choice where to stay immediately after arrival in Marrakech as it was the first time we visited Morocco. Probably not the cheapest choice but served well as the entry point into the country and the city. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom, good wifi speed in the room, magnificent (common) roof terrace. Very nice and helpful staff.

BahrainThis traditional Moroccan Riad in the Marakkesh medina, close to the central Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, was a little oasis away from the hustle bustle of the square and surrounding souks. The owner and staff were very welcoming and attentive and the riad was warm and comfortable. A perfect spot from which to explore Marrakech and a most enjoyable stay.
