Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNothing!
I loved the location of this property-far enough away from the Medina to be quiet, but still very walkable. The people who manage the Riad are easy to work with, responsive, helpful, and kind. The food was wonderful! It felt like a genuine Riad experience!

Our stay at Riad Al Nour was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service-so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The riad itself was stunning, with beautiful traditional décor and a peaceful atmosphere. Every detail, from the charming courtyard to the elegantly designed rooms, was perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the adorable and lovable cat that lived at the riad. It added such a special touch to our experience, making us feel even more at home. Highly recommend!

ItalyRiad Al Nour is the perfect cozy location if you want to stay in the Medina of Marrakech. The staff is super nice and always trying to accommodate your needs. The entire experience was excellent, from the check-in with traditional Moroccan tea and homemade sweets to the possibility of doing henna with a professional and friendly lady in the riad. The place is always clean and the room service is great. The breakfast is delicious and various, with different food every day. The shuttle service works fine as well. Awesome position if you want to visit all the main attractions by foot. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Definitely recommended!

SwitzerlandLocation is extra 10 min walk (very judgmental) comparing to other riads closer. Mosque is next to it. Very very loud at 04:50 on 25 feb. If this is daily than it would be nightmare

United KingdomAlthough the bath/shower was also really beautiful and original to look at, it was a tad impractical, as it was too shallow to sit in and be covered by water, and the ceiling was too low (positioned under stairs to next floor) to be able to stand under the shower. The clips to hook the shower into were broken. We weren’t too put out by it though, as the splendour of the surroundings more than made up for it!
This sumptuously designed riad is like no other. A courtyard that looks like an Arabian fairy tale. A lot of thought has clearly gone into it and the bedroom itself is big and beautiful. The riad is just off Rue Bab Doukalla, which is a busy local market street full of food stalls and restaurants, frequented by locals more than tourists, and which gives you a real feel for life in Marrakech.

United StatesNothing, absolutely nothing. We loved everything about this place.
This is in a nice area of the Medina, surrounded by many shops and restaurants, but still very quiet inside the Riad. It is GORGEOUS; it is so beautiful that I took many photos of the details because I am now designing an outdoor space in my Manhattan apartment inspired by this place. The service was wonderful, they did everything to make us feel welcome and happy. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. I can go on and on about how much I loved this place, it is really perfection.

United StatesThe courtyard of this riad is spectacular. So many beautiful colors and details! Orange trees full of singing birds, hanging lanterns, a fountain, a snuggly cat named BonBon, soothing music, and a warm welcome by our exceptional host, Kamal, made this a peaceful haven that we looked forward to coming home to after navigating the bustling crowds and Marrakech traffic. Highly recommend!

United StatesThe bedrooms and bathrooms are a little rundown. Minor renovations will definitely up the game for this Riad. The shower drains need to be addressed some screws Need to be tightened some light fixtures Need to be fixed to make the room a little bit brighter.
The team working there is excellent. Very professional very kind helpful in every way. We loved the courtyard, which was so peaceful and relaxing. My children loved the cat bum bum. We absolutely love the breakfast that was served every morning as it was different menu each morning with very beautiful presentation. The staff was very accommodating to our times and served us breakfast even before breakfast hours were available to accommodate us for our excursions
