Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA small complaint, I didn't like the plastic cups with the supplied bottle of water.
The setting for the Riad is lovely, with mountain views, well outside Agadir. If you want a peaceful haven this is where to come. The gardens are lovely. Asmaa is a wonderful hostess - I can imagine coming back here with a group of girlfriends for a special celebration.

United Kingdom- The property is very VERY remote , while this suited me, it might not be for everyone - you really do need a car. - It was great that the curtains are blackout and don’t let the early morning light in, but it would have been nice to have some voile curtains at the windows too, there is little to no privacy in the downstairs rooms as they face the pool - and my toilet room also faced the driveway so I was always a little worried people could see in! - The breakfasts are delicious but very carb heavy with all sorts of wonderful pancakes - I was craving some fresh fruit! - A bit of advice if you’re a light sleeper - take ear plugs as there is constant barking in the night from the nearby village dogs, and some early morning rooster crowing - it all adds to the authentic countryside experience though! - Also be aware if you like a tipple, they don’t serve alcohol - (having said that, I was there during Ramadan).
I had a fabulous stay at Riad Asmaa. I travelled there alone as a digital nomad, choosing it for its tranquility and space to work. Madame Asmaa, Mohammed and the team made me SO welcome :-) . Every day there was wonderful home cooked Moroccan food, prepared fresh by the ladies in the kitchen, the pool is beautiful (if a little chilly in early March but to be expected!), the garden is stunning and maintained with obvious love and care, and my room (junior suite ground floor) was spacious and well appointed. Loved the walk-in shower and soft towels! Madame Asmaa herself really goes out of her way to help her guests feel at home and give them an authentic Moroccan experience - she organised a trip for me to Taroudant with an English speaking guide, and on one day she personally drove me to a traditional hammam several km away, even accompanying me inside to explain how it worked as I really was a fish out of water! She also has lots of lovely, traditional Moroccan trinkets for sale on site - at a very reasonable price too :-) Despite the rain - you can’t control the weather after all - I had a wonderful few days. The riad really is a very special place. Thank you Madame Asmaa and team.

United KingdomEverything was wonderful.
The site is idyllic, the welcome warm, the food delicious, the area fascinating, the owner an excellent guide. It was just what we wanted; although about 20 minutes from Agadir, the beautiful garden and surrounding walks combined with the excursions offered by the owner, meant that we did not need to hire a car.

United KingdomConstant Arabic music being played. I didn't mind it for 20 minutes. It sets the scene. But after a couple of hours, you yearn for something a little more recognisable. Also, be aware that the Riad is isolated, so make sure you take your own entertainment!
The hostess was attentive, and we had the entire Riad to ourselves. Which has beautiful gardens and a pleasant poolside area. The pool looked inviting, but you'd have been a hardier soul than I to swim in it. Chilly!

SwedenRiad Asmaa exceeded my expectations! This is a beautiful riad in a good location not to far from Agadir, perfect for those looking for peace and quiet. The garden was incredibly beautiful and well maintained with several small oases for relaxation, as well as there is a nice pool area. The breakfast was well proportioned and tasty, and they served a lovely three course dinner (Moroccan style of course). Last but not least, the staff was really service minded and professional in a warm and familiar way. I can highly recommend a stay at Riad Asmaa!

SwitzerlandLeaving to go back home to Switzerland!!!
Staying for our last four days and three nights at the Asmaa Riad (Agadir) -- ending our 11- day Moroccan tour and after much hoopla and beauty from Morocco’s mid-Atlantic coast e.g., Sini Ifni & Mirleft to its inner Taroudant & Marrakesh, was a perfect way to end our vacation. Impressive! Asmaa’s Riad is a traditionally elegant well-manicured Moroccan styled miniature palace. Our first view inside the Riad was heavenly. The interior secret gardens come with a meditative path. Our Junior Suite faced directly into the center courtyard’s refreshing pool. Now we could really relax. We were inside the heart of this palace and its architecture splendor. Moroccan Cooking Class Moroccan Tajine cooking class fresh meatball (Paleo) tomato sauce. After our first night with Asmaa & her staffs Moroccan cooking, I was grateful to take a personal 1:1 cooking class with Asmaa. Amazingly, I quickly learned how to use the traditional clay Tajine to make fresh tomato sauce and small fresh beef meatballs served with Couscous, fresh vegetable and for desert fresh sliced papaya and oranges picked right off of her tree. Personalized health-oriented and Moroccan culture excursions Asmaa offered us personalized healthy and safe excursions into the Agadir countryside to mediate to an impressive real-world visit to the Cooperative Argan Commune Rurale de Draga Agadir. Here we saw firsthand how the individual woman’s contributions in teamwork and collectively accomplishing a rewarding business goal. We learned how Argan oil is processed from the beginning to the end! Always understated and not pushy, Asmaa has local wares, spices, ceramics, and garments for sale. This meant that we did not have to barter in the bigger towns for any trinket to bring back home with us!!
