The Riad atlas is an absolute gem. My partner and I came to Imlil to hike Mount Toubkal and stayed here for two nights. The staff were incredible. They were friendly, hospitable, and all around great people. And the view from the terrace was unreal. Definitely beat expectations and would stay here again.

My room was a nice traditional Berber style as was the rest of the Riad. The staff were 10/10, very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop area was a great place to relax and drink some mint tea aka whiskey Berber, with great views of the mountains. Traditional Moroccan breakfast and dinner was freshly prepared and very nice!

I had a fantastic journey to Imlil and my stay at Riad Atlass Toubkal made it even better! The accommodations were lovely and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The riad's location was perfect for exploring the area and taking in the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. Nothing to dislike

Service is outstanding! Ibrahim and all the team at Riad Atlas Toubkal are exceptional. From the moment you arrive, they make you so welcome and offer true hospitality. It isn't my first time to the Atlas region, and this is one of my favourite regions in Morocco for this reason, genuine caring people with kindness. The View from the Riad is breathtaking, food is beyond scrumptious, the smells from the kitchen pre dinner, you can't wait to see what will be placed on the dinner table, candles lit, snowy mountain view...its heaven.

The location is pretty central to the village and 1 mins walk from the main road. You weave around some back alleys but it is well signposted. The hotel is very quaint and typical moroccan village style in keeping with the other buildings around the village. It was well decorated with colorful moroccan style furnishings inside. The roof terrace and seating area provided great views of the village and Mt Toubkal. The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. There where extra blankets in the room and we did use them when we stayed in December, there is also an AC/Heater unit which kept the room warm during the cold nights. The bathroom was a little on the basic side, but it was clean, tidy and the shower was hot. Breakfast was decent with a range of cereals, drinks, breads and egg options. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to store luggage there whilst we climbed Toubkal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again and recommend this hotel to our friends who are heading to the Atlas mountains without an expedition company.

When we arrived, the room wasn't ready and we were left for about half an hour in reception without being told why, so communication could have been a little better.

We were so glad we chose this riad for our stay in Imlil. It is conveniently located for the (small) town centre, and a good starting point for a couple of easy 2-3 hour walks (suggested by our extremely hard-working host, Ibrahim, according to our fitness level), which allow you to appreciate the amazing scenery. Our room was very comfortable and the balcony had fantastic views, as did the roof terrace and restaurant where we had breakfast and one evening meal (both good). Ibrahim arranged a car and driver for us from Marrakech and back to Marrakech via Tacheddirt. I would certainly stay here again.

I loved everything!

I love Riad Atlas Toubkal. I have stayed there three times in the last six years. Every stay has been magical. The staff who run the Riad are very kind and attentive. I was helped by Ibrahim at the Riad in finding a good guide for my trek towards Toubkal. It is a beautiful hotel with fabulous views. The rooftop terrace is really lovely. Breakfast is delicious. The rooms with great views splendid. What more could you ask for? Congratulations to all at Riad Atlas Toubkal for a fantastic hotel. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

it’s a bit hard to find at first and it’s a lot of steps so bring good hiking shoes! at night there aren’t many lights to get to the property so it’s a bit scary, but that’s not unique to this hotel: it’s every place in Imlil. bring a head lamp 😉

It’s the perfect jumping off point for a hike up the mountain or a relaxing getaway in the mountains. the staff was warm and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. the view from the balcony is amazing and the decor really gives you the Moroccan mountain vibe.
