Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing, it was all great.
The riad was great. Very welcoming staff, felt like a home from home. Was so realxing to chill around the pool or roof terrace after walking around town.

United KingdomThe main lady was really helpful even with the language barrier, she made us feel really welcome and couldn't have been more helpful, same with the rest of the people that work there. The room was very clean and comfortable and the area on the roof was a brilliant place to chill out in the afternoon sun as the city can be an attack on the senses.

United KingdomThe riad was perfect for us but a tiny bit of DIY on some of the minor fittings would make this perfect for the fussier traveller.
The staff at the riad were very friendly and helpful. The riad was clean and the central pool and roof garden very pretty. Breakfast was great and they accommodated our request to have eggs in the morning. I also asked for mint tea in the afternoons and they were happy to do this at no extra cost. They were helpful in getting tickets printed for us and luggage storage on our last day. We could not have asked for a more friendly service. It is a 5min walk to the medina, once you get your bearings! It is close to all the tourist attractions and some lovely local places to eat.

It was in a quiet area of the Medina and felt very safe. The breakfasts were lively and the staff extremely helpful in booking taxis and answering any questions.

PortugalThe water pressure from the shower have to be improved. Breakfast could have some fruit's and more pastry typical from Marrocos. The first welcome to the Riad should have some Tea and pastry.
I recommend this Riad if you want to stay a little bit away from the caos of Jemma El Fna and wake up with the bird's singing literally. The hostess was super kind to us, alway's available to help. Riad very clean, safe, simpatic breakfast, Riad with pool very usefull in the summer! Bedrom with AC so usefull with that hot.

NetherlandsThe breakfast is simple and might be unfulfilling if you’re staying for multiple days. The swimming pool didn’t look too clean, but you wont need it as its very cool in the riad.
The hostess was very friendly. We liked the medina, it’s a short walk to the Medina and that makes it a rather quiet neighborhood. The cat that runs around in the riad is really funny.

SpainA fan on the upper or lower part would be nice, since in summer is too hot. It's not very important, but would make it better.
Bacha is, by far, the best of the Riad! We stayed for more than 1 week and she changed a little the breakfast everyday, and helped us with anything we needed. We felt like home.

PortugalA very warm and generous welcome, we enjoyed the pool, and the rooftop with the view of the starry sky, and the comforting coolness of the room in the hottest hours of the day. A lot of local commerce and great food in the neighbourhood that's way less touristy than every other part of Medina that we've been to (also, visit the neighbourhood hammam for the full experience!).

United KingdomThe mosque next door woke me up most mornings at 5am but my husband and children slept through so it depends if you’re a light sleeper! The Wi-Fi is patchy though the best reception is on the terrace. This has a covered seating are in case you need to work.
The Riad has a homely feel and is managed by a lady called Bacha who looked after us very well like a kind Aunt. The breakfast is simple but the bread/pancakes are a little different everyday. There is a roof terrace where you can sit, eat or relax and our children loved the swimming pool even though it was freezing in April! We also loved the 15 minute walk into the central square as the route took us through traditional bazaars and souqs where we could see the Moroccan way of life before reaching the touristy areas. We always felt safe walking around and the Riad felt very safe at night too. The beds were comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature.
