We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

LatviaAbsolutely nothing.
Riad Bayti was everything we hoped it would be. Our room was comfortable, especially the beds, and the upstairs terrace felt like we were in sun heaven. The staff were kind and helpful and breakfast delicious. The best part was the location, however. It was so nice to have an escape from the bustle of the spice market but it also gave us the opportunity to see it all with out being overwhelmed.

United KingdomThe room we were in was facing the alleyway and so we could hear the noise outside, best to bring earplugs for sleeping just in case. The actual Riad was very quiet and didn’t hear noise from other guests.
The staff are all amazing and very helpful. The riad is in a great location, 10 min walk from the main square and by some souks and restaurants and very peaceful inside with a great roof top. Really great place to stay with lovely food.

SpainEverything great! Nothing to complain!
The Riad is like an oasis. Very nicely decorated, very "authentic", extremely clean and peaceful. Great terrace where to rest. Only had breakfast, but good quality and generous amounts - would have loved to try dinner but never had the chance - maybe next time!. Great service, not over you but aware of any needs you might have, always ready to help. It is a few minutes walking distance to some of the main places to visit, and a nice walk via different routes, to other places. The excursions recommended and organized with them, good price and very well organized (need to pay them cash, so that you take enough if you want to take any with them). The manager helps you with any question via email before you get there, very helpful as well. A good restaurant near by, looking at the square, is "Terrasse des palais" for a quick bite or the menu to try some local dishes at a very cheap price - Tajin Kefta is just great!- with great service!

GermanyThe wifi can be improved more.
The booking and check in process were very easy and straightforward. We liked how Abdel, the manager, welcomed us on our first day and introduced himself as well as explained about the whole thing; the room, the breakfast time, the tour options, etc. We booked our Hammam through the Riad and it was great. We also got help when buying some spices nearby (Thank you Abdel and Khadija). Abdel also booked us a taxi to bring us to the airport early in the morning. He organized everything for the check in and out. The breakfast was ready at 05.30 and the taxi waited for us at 05.45. The staff worked so hard to prepare the breakfast and clean the rooms, etc. They are 24 hours ready to accomodate our needs. Marrakech can be overwhelming but the Riad is such a calm and wonderful place to be after the whole day out in the hustle. We recommend this Riad for your stay in Marrakesh.

CanadaThe wifi is a bit slow and the draining in the shower is slow.
A nice and accommodating riad with a great location. We checked in around 1 am due to late flight and they were welcoming. On the 2nd morning, we had to leave early and they served breakfast based on our requested time. The riad is about 10 mins off the main jemaa square, but the one street that you walk to it is full of great sightseeing/eating/shopping opportunities. It’s also pretty close to the 2 palace and tomb.

United Kingdomwas happy with everything
Property was very clean and the traditional Moroccan decoration really added to the experience , our suite was very spacious and cozy. We had our own little private terrace area which we enjoyed. The location was very good, small alley walk to the main markets and plenty of tourists spots within walking distance, and taxis all near by and easy to pick up. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they made you feel very welcomed and relaxed. Breakfast is served any where you’d like and was allowed to request for particular items. Manager Abdel was very helpful, come to introduce himself and advised us of all activities available with good packages and informed us of area to visit, allowing us to explore popular areas we’d like without the stress of booking ourselves.

BelgiumThis was our first stop in Morocco, and we needed to wait a long time for the taxi arranged by the road to come. It was mainly the taxi driver his fault, and the Riad quickly arranged different transport for us
It was a lovely setting, the raid was very cozy and really close to Djemaa el Fna. We were really amazed by how quiet and peaceful it is in the raid and busy outside of the raid. The staff was also very sweet and helpful. We will definitely come again

CanadaShower was more like a dribble and wifi was not great.
The place was beautiful inside and the staff were amazing. Abdel the manager was very helpful and very friendly. The serving staff were also very pleasant and would bend over backwards to be accommodating. The location was very central, the room was tastefully decorated and the terrace was amazing!!! They also have this old adorable turtle, which I nicknamed Yertle the Turtle, that wanders around the lobby of the riad. We thoroughly enjoyed looking for the turtle. I must have spent hours trying to feed the turtle. The only downside was that the alleyway leading up to the riad could be a little sketchy at night. However, the beauty of the inside made it worthwhile!! In addition, the wifi was pretty bad. However, Abdel tried hard to make it work for my working husband. He suggested that he connect directly into the ethernet. Although not ideal, it was much better than elsewhere in the riad. The last issue was the shower which was more like a dribble. Bathroom was beautifully decorated and we just made do with a quick shower. Not a deal breaker by any means. Overall, I would recommend the hotel as it is beautifully decorated, great staff, central location and did I say amazing terrace?!?!

United StatesRooms on the first floor can be loud in the evenings as other guests use the common area. The bed cover was quite thick and could be too warm.
We had a great time staying in Riad Bayti. It is located within the old city but is a convenient few-minute walk from the street, making it both accessible and a true old city experience. I was in communication with the manager Abdel from the time I made my booking to figure out airport pickup, etc. and from the beginning Abdel was professional and responsive. Abdel met our car at the street, helped us bring in our luggage, and gave us tea right away. Throughout our stay, Abdel was so attentive to each guests’ needs that we felt we were the only guests at the time. The common areas and rooms are beautiful and comfortable, though the first floor rooms can be a bit loud in the evening as many guests choose to spend time in the common areas. We had an exquisite breakfast each morning that included fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade yogurt, and different Moroccan breakfast foods each day. Dinner was an equally wonderful experience with multiple traditional courses and more food than we could eat! Abdel was also able to arrange reservations at a Hammam and an excursion to Ourika Valley for us. Both were reasonably priced and great experiences. Some members of our party have mobility issues, and Abdel helped us make adjustments to our Ourika Valley tour to accommodate their needs. We cannot say enough good things about our stay in Riad Bayti; thank you!
