We chose riad botanica for the first leg of our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier. The staff were attentive and very responsive. Location wise, it is perfect for us as it’s in a quieter part of the medina, far from the hustle bustle; and we felt more at ease and relaxed. Breakfast was good and we loved the treats they offered us upon our arrival!

We both had the best Riad experience at Riad Botanica. Mohamed and the team looked after us from the moment we arrived and really helped us get the most out of our trip to Marrakech. The riad itself was extremely peaceful and a great get away from being right in the middle of the Medina. Breakfast was made fresh to serve every morning. Mohamed also helped us to organise everything we wanted to do from day trips, where to eat to airport transfers. Highly recommend!

My room was on the small side. But I travelled light for only 2 days, so didn't bother me. Rooms in riads located in the old Medina are often on the small size so was no surprise. I took a shower longer than expected, since the water pressure was low. Again, its sometimes the case depending on the water pump pressure.

The owner was awesome. Tentative and was a great host. You didn't feel like a guest, but more like a friend.

Even before we arrived Mohamed was in contact with us to ensure we would arrive and find the riad hassle free. He personally met us at our taxi drop-off and arranged to have our bags brought to the riad. The riad is really beautiful with the pool and orange tree in the courtyard. We stayed in the suite where everything was of the highest quality. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a joy which we looked forward to each morning. Mohamed was personally attentive to our every need even helping us book restaurants which he recommended. The staff were all really nice and friendly and nothing was too much bother. Location was perfect inside the old city. Thank you Mohamed and Angela!

We had the most comfortable and wonderful stay at Riad Botanica, and didn’t want to go home! We were welcomed by Mohammed who showed us to the Riad and gave us some tips as it was our first time visiting. A special mention for the breakfast which was delicious, and nothing was too much of an ask. I’d highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed and it’s only a short walk into the souks. From the personal pick up by the hosts amidst the busy souq to the great chats and recommendations, Mohamed and Angela were the kindest people we’ve ever met. Riad Botanica has been beautifully designed with amazing attention to detail. It is stunning to look at! It was a gorgeous place to stay with the most wonderful people who made us feel like we were visiting family. The food is exceptional and I highly recommend having a meal there to experience the best Moroccan cuisine. It is squeaky clean and smells fresh everywhere, all the time!

The only negative was the temperature. The room could feel pretty cold even with the heater switched on especially after a hot shower. This is not something you can criticise the accommodation for. We chose to travel in December and knew this would be the case as the riad has an open roof and due to the styling of the doors etc heat can escape the rooms very easily.

Riad Botanica exceeded my expectations. The whole place is immaculate. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating and the photo opportunities are amazing. My girlfriend felt slightly unsettled on our first night as Marrakesh can be quite a culture shock if you haven’t visited before. The owner walked the local area with us and showed us some lovely places to try and did everything he could to put her mind at ease, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks to that she felt much more comfortable and we went on to have the best 4 days after that. This family owned riad is a true gem and should not be overlooked. It’s the only place I would consider staying if I was to return to Marrakech.

Nothing it was flawless

Everything Angela, Mohamed and the team do at Riad Botanica is to the highest standard of service. From the second you step out of the airport in Marrakesh you’re met by the Riad’s driver who takes you on a comfortable journey in to the Medina. For somebody used to the quiet life in Belfast the medina can be a bit of a culture shock but we were immediately put at ease by Mohamed who arrived to take us on the short walk over to the Riad. When we arrived we couldn’t believe the contrast between outside and inside the Riad. The attention to detail the team have put in to the place is on another level, there isn’t a single thing out of place it’s totally immaculate both in the rooms and in the communal areas. Every member of the team especially Angela and Mohamed go out of their way to make sure you have the best time in Marrakesh. Amazing recommendations including a sunrise hot air balloon ride and a sunset dinner in the desert really made our trip special. In terms of location the Riad is in a nice quiet part of the Medina with the souks just a short walk away and where you feel safe walking around. If you’re planning a trip to Marrakesh you couldn’t find a better place to stay.

The beautiful design of the Riad, the breakfast and dinner and how incredibly comfortable and homely it was to stay! The staff were also very attentive and helpful, we got engaged whilst away and were given a lovely bouquet of roses by the owners, who were very kind and truly made us feel at home.

Absolutely stunning riad and the hosts are SO welcoming! The breakfast on the rooftop was amazing too. The location is perfect as the nearest car accessible point is only a 2-3 min walk and we were able to walk everywhere during our stay.
