Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandEverything was clean and it smelled very good everywhere . Jamel helped us for planning our trip and the welcome till the goodbye with mint tee was really nice! The food in the riad was also not expensive and the best dishes we ate in Marrakech. Thank you to Mehdi for his Arabic lesson and to Lachcen for his help planning last minute trip to Zagóra !

United KingdomIt is situated right next to a mosque so if you are sensitive to sound you may want to bring earplugs.
Riad Dama provides everything you need - Jamal and Lasan couldn’t be more friendly and helpful; from contacting us prior to our stay to organise airport collection, lots of tips, suggesting some great bars, stalls, somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle for the day at a relaxing pool day and a in-house Hamam and blissful massage (highly recommended) The rooms have everything you need: clean white crisp sheets, air conditioning, towels, hairdryer even cotton buds and makeup remover pads! Great breakfast - pancakes/Moroccan bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, mint tea, coffee fruit- certainly enough to fill you up. The Riad has a fantastic location to the main square within a shot distance, as long as you don’t get lost 😃 It was such a lovely stay that I would be very tempted to return to Riad Dama and I highly recommend it.

United StatesI ate at the property one night and while the food was tasty, the portion was very small and I was simply served a piece of lamb with nothing else. A bit disappointing given the price. If staying on the rooftop level it can get a bit noisy, as others from rooms below come up to talk and for hookah.
Jamal & Said were all fantastic and super helpful, and Lahcen was AMAZING! Communication with the property prior to arrival was great, and they even assisted from my cab and guided me to the riad. The welcome bottle of water was appreciated, and they offered a great breakfast ... just remember to ask for the eggs! They also helped me organize an excursion to the Sahara that saved me the research and hassle.

IcelandHonestly, there was nothing our entire stay (for 8 days) that bothered us or we were unhappy with.
To begin with the logistics, the location is absolutely superb, our room was wonderful and spacious (bonus point for locked safe in the room), everything was really clean and we saw staff cleaning and tending to things every single day, breakfast was good, hanging out at the balcony was super amazing and the massage we got was exactly what we hoped for! What really makes this place the absolute best is the wonderful staff and the absolutely amazing service we received, everyone went above and beyond for us! When checking in we were greeted by Sayid (hope I'm spelling it right) who provided us with really good information about various things and really helped us settle in to Marrakech and directed us well on how to navigate the Medina. Mostly we interacted with the night time staff and our trip would not have been the same if it had not been for our wonderful friend Lahcen (nighttime staff member) who not only helped us out with various things such as booking trips and taxis, giving us recommendations and generally assisting us with whatever we needed, but was open to talking with us about so many things about Morocco and Moroccan life which really made our trip so extra special. We now can say we have a friend in Morocco forever, we are sure! We could not be happier with everything regarding our stay at Riad Dama and Spa!

Very peaceful and tranquil space in the middle of a busy medina. The staff were super kind and friendly. The space is beautiful and my friend really enjoyed her massage. There is good coffee and tea, so it is really nice to hang out in the courtyard and rooftop. Love it and hope to be back soon!

ItalyMy family and I had a lovely time at the Riad. The structure is truly beautiful and very well kept. Lahcen and Jamal (the staff) were really friendly, and always patient and helpful with anything we needed (from booking taxis for us, to giving us directions or recommendations). The location is also very good: the Riad is close enough to the main square (10 minutes walking) but not so much that it gets chaotic. Would definitely go back!

Saudi ArabiaThe shower over bath setup was a little tricky to manage, but easily done
Wonderful, welcoming staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Great location on the edge of the Medina with close access but removed enough for peace and quiet and a very local neighbourhood feel. My kids loved the resident cat and kittens. Beautiful rooftop area.

CroatiaGreat and helpfull staff. They work night shifts as well so if you come late at the riad, you just ring a bell and they'll open the door for you. We were staying one night and leaving early the next morning for sahara trip and they packed a breakfast for us. We met three recepcionists and all of them were very friendly and accommodating. They let us leave baggage in the riad once we got back from the sahara trip and organized a late night taxi to get us back at the airport. Would recommend.

Italy- The shower is not the most comfortable as it sits directly next to a window, and the shower curtains used to separate you from said window will leave little room to move around. However, it's not a big deal at all. - Considering the price paid to stay in this beautiful Riad, the breakfast offered is quite basic. We've stayed at much cheaper places in Morocco that served much richer and varied breakfasts.
Nice location a short walk from Jamaa El Fna (contrary to a review from another guest, neighbourhood is perfectly good and safe). The Riad is stunning, quiet and peaceful. Using the rooftop to decompress from a day spent in the medina is what you want, trust me. The staff were amazing, Jamal and colleagues will make your stay absolutely perfect, they are some of the nicest, friendliest and most helpful people I met.

Perfect location with a 10-minute walk to Jemaâ El Fna Square. We spent 7 nights in this wonderful Riad where our hosts were super attentive, and were keen to help with excursions and restaurant bookings. Warm, welcoming and the breakfast was a treat each day.

NetherlandsI liked everything but as a small suggestion, there could be a light fixture in the ceiling so the room has more light after sunset. But this is not critical.
The staff is really helpful and kind. They always greet you with a smile and they go the extra mile to make sure your stay in Marrakech is joyful. They gave us good tips for attractions and restaurants and also booked the tables for us. The breakfast is simple but delicious, you can see that it's freshly prepared every day. If you arrive at the airport during night time, I strongly suggest booking a transfer with them, because cars cannot access the Medina and it's tricky to know where to go. Their driver knows the place already so it's uncomplicated. The local is also good because you are within walking distance from most of the attractions but not on the busiest street. I read reviews here complaining about the speakers calling for the pray at 5am. Although you can hear it, I believe this is not a problem. I faced it as part of the cultural experience.
