Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Riad is located in a very nice area of Medina. All tourist's attractions are nearby, in a 10 minute walk. The interior is made in a traditional maroccon style. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are very clean. Towels and blankets are white and good smelling. Fresh orange juice served for breakfast was sweet! Jamal was nice and friendly! He helped us with everything between laundry service and getting the taxi to the station. The best manager I've ever met!

IrelandWe had a lovely stay celebrating our anniversary at Riad Dar Colline. Jamal and Fouzia were amazing and were so attentive. The room was exactly as described and the facilities were brilliant, including the beautifully designed terrace lounge area. The breakfast was delicious and we never had the same thing twice, which allowed us to taste different things, that were local to Marrakesh. We had daily housekeeping, which was great. Would also highly recommend the airport transfer that the riad offers as it is one of the best deals out there. The location was central, a 15 minute walk to the main square, 20 minute walk to the Jardin Marjorelle and a half an hour walk to the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. There is also a lovely patisserie and coffee shop in the vicinity as well, as well as the Henna cafe.

United KingdomNothing, all was great.
An impressive Riad hidden in the North West of the Medina. We were picked up at the airport & dropped off on arrival. I'd recommend this unless you're familiar with the area. We were given Mint tea & patisseries on arrival. The building is great & the hosts lovely & welcoming. The room was clean & comfortable. Host, Jamal, was a lovely person & available at all times. Breakfasts were a wonderful mix of fresh & home cooked items that varied each morning. Very quiet traffic free location. Easy to walk to the main tourist locations. Excursions can be booked from the room & Jamal made us early breakfasts for these days. Good shower, wi-fi, secure, friendly. A fantastic pleasant stay, thanks!

United KingdomThere was a small niggle despite the check out time being 11.30 to 12.00 we were asked to leave a bit earlier, this did mess with my wife's plan but Jamal was genuinely sorry and offered to store our bags if we wanted to pop out before our transfer
First up it's hidden away in the backstreets of the madinah, but once you find it and enter it a oasis of calm and serenity the staff are attentive and great special shout to Jamal who's English was excellent and made our trip extra special, the rooms were spacious and clean as were the bathrooms but strangely for a Muslim nation no bidet in the toilet

United KingdomJamal the host was very helpful from the get go, provided us with tea and biscuits on arrival as well as giving a map showing where we were and where all the main attractions were. We arrived a few hours ahead of our check in time it wasn’t a problem. We were shown our room which had a double and single bed, the decor was authentic and unique. Room was clean and had air con which is essential in the 42 degree July heat. Breakfast was great, if anything there was a bit too much of it. All in all a great stay in a great location! (Maybe a 5 minute walk to the markets, we got the taxi from the airport that Jamal organised in advance via email, I would recommend this as I imagine finding the Riad would be very difficult)

HungaryBe aware that it is difficult to find the Riad for the first time, even if they provide you with a nice map beforehand on WhatsApp. So you will spend a 15-30 minutes to understand where you are. We paid some money (Baksis) to some boys on the street who let us there, very quickly. Breakfast was mediocre but very nicely served and manager did his best. This breakfast is absolutely OK for a remote location, but as Marrakesh Medina is the MARKET with big letters, where you can buy basically herbs, handcraft, clothes and especially tons of fresh and delicious food, they could improve it quite easily as they can easily get everything nearby.
It is a beautiful and well ran Riad with very helpful and friendly staff, looking always at your wishes. The manager speaks very good English too besides French. We had the room at ground floor, which we did not like at first as it is darker than the ones upstairs, but as there was 40+ Celsius at Marrakesh, finally we did not mind at all. Our room was next to the kitchen, so noises came in, so if you are sensitive to noises, look for another room, but in general don't go for a Riad. Important to know that Riads are not newly built hotels, so don't expect same features as a new facility can provide in 21st Century. Go for a Riad if you are more flexible with comfort and open to sense how people may lived and spent their days/life a bit back in time. They only have 4 rooms, so very probably it is quieter than a bigger/average riad, and also it is located like 2-3 streets away from the crowded streets, which is good. They served Mint tea during the day if we asked (no charge) and manager awaited for everybody coming back to the Riad after dinner even at late. (The door of the Riad is always locked, you need to ring the bell). Very pleasant stay in overall.

United StatesTwisting, narrow staircase to go up to room, not very safe for older people. No TV in room. Location is difficult to find. Upsetting that management demanded 100% cash payment as opposed to the 50% stated during booking on your platform, which created an issue for us as we had converted most of our cash into local currency when we arrived at the airport and couldn’t get euros from ATMs or even banks (we visited three to no avail.) They don’t accommodate requests for an early breakfast on days when we had day trips out of the city.
Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff though we had difficulty communicating (other than with the gentleman who speaks English and works nights) even when using Google translate.
