The room was on the ground floor next to a social area where locals talked loudly until very late which was disturbing. Noise is heard in the room including the doorbell which sounds all the time as guests don't get a key.

The hostel was nice. Good value for money. Clean bed and came with breakfast.

The location is a little out of the city center, you have to get in by ringing the door bell - you don't get the entrance key. Thus, you hear from time to time a somewhat pleasant door bell sound. The beds are hard but it seems to be a local thing. Parking is available at a local mosque 5 min walk from the riad

Matress on the topbunkbed was extremely hard, I could feel springs. Toilet was a total mess (no curtain shower + WC needs an urgen cleanless with bleach. Was a bit disguting)

The owner is an absolute sweetheart! The hostel is new and I feel very lucky to have been in Marrakesh on time to give it a try. The Riad is beautiful, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean and I didn't have any problems. The staff gave me recomendations on what to visit in Marrakesh and answered any questions I had, they even helped me to print my boarding pass for my departure! Everything was great, and breakfast, even if light, is included and I loved having it on the rooftop terrace. Great place for an adventurer!

Friendliest hosts we've met in Morocco. The place was cleaned daily and wifi was strong. Beautiful terrace with a view of the Atlas mountains on a clear day. Short walk, about 10 minutes, to the medina. We were even treated to try a couple local dishes. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Perfect for solo travellers. Great common area that makes it very easy to meet people. Comfortable beds. The guys running the hostel were always around to give recommendations. Also breakfast was very good. Warm shower. Only negative was it gets a bit noisy as the sound echos throughout the building but this was easily fixed by earbuds. 20/25 min walk to the main Medina however it's a interesting walk full of markets and restaurants so this wasn't a problem for me. When taking the price into consideration this is probably the best hostel I've stayed in.

A Oasis in the desert of Marrakech....Quiet, cozy place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city....Very beautiful riad with quite spacy rooms and basic but comfortable beds...But the best are the hosts, they are kind to the top and always down for a nice conversation...Whatever kind of help you need ask them, want to buy cheapest spices-ask them, want to know the real price of things on the souk-ask them, want to know how to get anywhere in Morocco-ask them. We also did the cooking course and they showed us how to do Msmen and a perfect tajine. Definetly ask them for this one!

I was traveling with a friend and we spent 5 days in this hostel. The staff was amazing: Atman in particular is super friendly and helpful and we spent some great time together. The breakfast is rich and fresh every morning, the rooms are clean and the common areas are welcoming. The hostel offers also organized tours and we took part to a two day desert trip. We absolutely recommend this Riad!

I had a very nice stay at Riad dar Malak. Atman and the other guy are very helpful and friendly. I requested a lower bunk bed, but unfortunately the only had upper bed available. But they helped me to fix the upper bed as a lower bed (make a curtain)! So helpful. Thank you!!! Great breakfast and good location. Highly recommended to all travelers! I will come back next time 👍

Bathrooms: Ground floor toilet could be cleaner. First floor shower room could use a mop as water was everywhere after others used the room.

Farid and Otmane were very nice people with good hearts, always ready to help everyone. I felt welcomed in the Riad thanks to them and their friends. The location was perfect, near Mellah market spices, and close to the centre. The breakfast was a typical Moroccan one, with fresh food every morning and very fulfilling :) I would like to thank the staff once again, they were amazing and they made me feel at home in a foreign country :D
