Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThere was only a curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom.
Beautiful hotel with extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff! They greeted us with tea and cookies when we arrived which was a nice touch. They also checked in with us everyday to make sure we were comfortable. Large breakfast on the terrace. Close to the center but far enough away that it's not too loud. Highly recommend!

United StatesLahcen was so friendly and very helpful. They greeted us with tea and treats when we arrived, helped us get taxis and bargain prices, he gave me his phone number and constantly checked that we were ok and if we needed help from him. We were only able to stay one night as we were going to the Sahara the next day but it was a great experience. They made breakfast at 6:30 am for us since we had to leave at 7 am. I would definitely recommend to stay here !

United StatesBed is great but other furniture and lighting in the room are not.
An excellently located small hotel in the Medina of Marrakesh. It's on a side street, so it is reasonably quiet. The house has been well converted. Rooms are small, as one would expect, but they are well done with a nice bathroom/shower. Breakfast is fine. Staff are polite, if not forthcoming.

United StatesOther guests smoking and loudly working on speaker blast both in the rooftop dining area and on the terrace just outside our room so smoke intruded our space (including our room)and we had to listen to loud 2-sided conversations. The man became belligerent when we pointed out the smoking and loud, non-stop conversations over speaker were disturbing to other guests. Staff was sympathetic, but the business should set rules for respectful behavior and not allow smoking or amplified audio in the hotel.
Breakfast was very nice; coffee, juice, eggs, fruit, yogurt some days, breads and jams, etc. Rooftop or common interior room were both options for dining. Everything was spotless and rooms were nicely decorated and refreshed every day discretely. It was very safe and secure and the decor was beautiful.

United KingdomThe riad it self was very tiny and felt a bit disconnected to the main areas of Marrakech also felt quite cold and dark. I really didn’t like there is no common area to just relax except sit in the tiny room so if I come back to Marrakech mostly likely wouldn’t stay here again
Thought the staff were the best thing we liked about this riad they were very friendly and hospitable. Good internet connection which is nice, breakfast was average. Nice welcoming tea and biscuit much appreciated.

United KingdomThe instructions on finding the Riad were not clear. The taxi driver could only get as far as the main road and then had to start asking locals as many Riads are tucked away in residential neighborhoods and not sign posted. I arrived after dark and without paying a local to guide me, I don't think I could have located the Riad as it is hidden away and not well lit or signposted anywhere. I have therefore attached photos to give future guests some guidance. 1. Ask your taxi to stop opposite Younes Market, in front of a wall with Lunar Glacier on it. 2. Go down the dark alleyway sown on the left of the wall with Lunar Glacier for 100 meters and through an enclosed alleyway. 3. The Riad will be on the right hand side. The photos will give new guests a clue. . It is poorly lit all the way. It is a residential area and may look scary at night but I found it to be a safe family environment.
It was very clean and pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The staff were well presented in uniforms and very helpful, with limited spoken English. The location was a 20 minute walk to the main tourist sites.
