Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomThis was the perfect riad for our trip. The riad itself is very comfortable and looks amazing. Also, the breakfast is the perfect way to start the day. The location is brilliant as it is only very short walk to the main square and the busy souks for shopping. Thank you for an amazing time.

NetherlandsThe location was super, the Riad is in the middle of the Medina. everything on walking distance and easy to find. The owner is very nice and helpful, doing everything he can to make it easy and comfortable. Great views and relaxt late afternoons on the rooftop. And very good contact with taxi driver to arrange airport service and dessert tour. Nice breakfast! Tip: ask help with airport taxi service to and from, very easy and helps finding the Riad for the first time. And the driver is very nice and helpful,

United KingdomThe only possible criticism I could have was that there was no fridge in our room, which might have been useful for cold water - BUT we did not mention this to Mohammed or ask, and I am sure that if we had done he would have offered us use of the Riad's kitchen fridge.
Brilliant experience staying at Riad Deux Palmiers - Mohammed, the owner and proprietor, could not have been more helpful, friendly or accommodating throughout our stay, offering us breakfast at whichever time we requested the night before, messaging us repeatedly to ensure we had transfers to and from the airport despite our flight out being significantly delayed. The property was absolutely stunning, with tasteful local decor that was also beautifully ornate. The area felt very safe, and the location could not have been better - only 5 minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa and a further minute to Cafe de France, where the majority of tours have their pick-up points. Breakfast was excellent, with local Moroccan pastries and breads with various jams, syrups and other preserves, as well as egg dishes, all homemade by Mohammed's wife. Our room had perfectly functioning air conditioning that went down as low as 16c and stayed on throughout the day, so the room was very pleasant to return to. The Roof Terrace was absolutely stunning, a real jewel in the crown, with views of both Koutoubia and the Atlas Mountains in clear weather, and both exposed and shaded areas. Mohammed was also able to recommend local restaurants (for good food and for drinking alcohol), the best places to visit and trips worth going on. Despite the rest of the Riad being empty for all bar one of our nights and our visit falling during Ramadan, Mohammed was available on whatsapp at all times, and came back to the property every morning to serve us breakfast and every evening to handle any requests/queries or even just to make sure we were ok - even returning past 10pm and insisting he share Iftar with us, again prepared by his wife and brought to us from home. We were given a key to the front door as well as our room and told to "treat it as your Riad", and everything about our stay could not have made us feel more welcome or comfortable in Morocco and at Riad Deux Palmiers.

United KingdomI honestly can't think of anything that could have been improved.
Not only did our stay exceed our expectations, the owner is kind and attentive. We were glad to find out that he owns and operates and even decorated the place. We will recommend that friends and family visit Marrakech partly just to stay at the two palms Riad.

Riad was in great location and very beautifully decorated with a lovely terrace. Our rooms were very quiet, peaceful with a large comfortable four poster bed. The owner, Mohamed was very friendly and helpful. On the first day he arranged the airport taxi to collect us and on our last day he arranged an early breakfast and helped us get to the bus station on time.

PolandWe had some problems with location on the map, but for now we can see that the pin on a map is put correctly. Great change, we appreciate it. In our room we had only hot water pipe connected, which means that in the evening it was hard to take a shower. Water was heated only by the sun, so taking shower in the morning was challenging :)
Riad is really beautiful, have great location, close to the main square, but inside the riad you can find calm and quiet. The Riad is decorated with local items (incense, instruments, pottery) - this is a value. Architectural elements of the Riad is impressive, place on the rooftop is decorated cozily and with a good taste. Room was really comfy, we slept very well there. Host is very nice and accommodating. We appreciate that he knew some information about our country. He told us some interesting information about Marrakech, more information about Moroccan culture and history and could be even better. It is hospitable that you can ask for a tea at any time. Breakfast was really tasty and varied.

The location is perfect, 1 minute's walk from the main streets of Medina while being in a quiet street at the same time. There is a great terrace, where you can relax after a whole day of exploring Marrakech. Breakfasts were awesome - tasting local food in the great atmosphere of Riad!

Czech RepublicRiad deux palmiers is a jewel in Medina. Easy to find. While most accommodation in the Medina are hard to find and easy to get lost, this one is very close to Jamaa el Fna Square, this is a great advantage of this location. Airport Pick up Our host, offered to have a driver pick us up from the airport and the driver patiently waited for us despite our flight being delayed. The driver was very nice, honest and friendly and offered advice on things to see and activities in Marrakesh and then he walked us directly to the Medina where we were greeted by our host Mohamed. A kind host, a beautiful Riad and a great stay experience. Mohammed will make you feel like you just walked in to your own place that he has been taken care of while you were away. As you walk in the Riad, you will be surprised by a beautifully decorated patio with chairs, carpets and seating cushions in typical Moroccan style. In the first minute of you stepping foot in the Riad you’ll have the comfort of having made the right call for your stay in Marrakesh. The place is spotless, spectacular every time you see it and from every angle. The Riad was fully renovated by the owner and decorated with great sense of style, and Mohamed will speak with pride and love of the place he owns and runs. Our accommodation was a twin room on the second floor. The room had two very comfortable beds, a small chair and a tea table. A large wardrobe and a private bathroom with two different shower heads. Soap, shampoo and body is provided. Every morning, a breakfast prepared at the Medina is served, Moroccan pancakes, bread, tea and coffee. The Riad also offers a very nice place to rest, work or have a tea at its rooftop. The view of the Atlas Mountains from there is stunning. As this was a first visit to Morocco, I had many questions about the culture, places to go, where to eat, main landmarks to see and even how to get around Marrakesh, and this is where your host Mohamed was outstanding.

NetherlandsWe stayed at Riad Deux Palmiers for four nights, and had an amazing stay. The host is very welcoming, kind, helpful and thoughtful. He brought us tea and soup in the evening as it could be cold at night in February. He helped us with everything we needed. The riad is really beautiful and newly renovated: it has great details and is very clean. You can make use of the amazing rooftop with a sheltered spot to chill out with pretty cushions, sofas and tables. There are also larger tables on the terrace to have something to eat. The room was really nice and cosy: also enough storage space, good wifi connection and electricity sockets in all the places you need them. Also the bathroom was very impressive: high ceilings, proper towels and good working shower all built in traditional style. The riad is perfect if you want to stay close to Jamaa al Fna, and it’s not hard to find. It’s just off one of the main roads, but you don’t notice any of the bustling business of the square. Very serene and quiet. The Moroccan breakfast was served by Aziza who was very kind and brought us all you need to start the day: bread, tea, coffee, msemen, baghrir, jams, and sometimes also amlou, juice, and different egg dishes. Anything you needed, you could ask. We would definitely recommend to stay at Riad Deux Palmiers if you are looking for a real Moroccan welcoming, warm and hospitable experience, in the middle of Marrakech, where you can unwind and relax after the bustling and exciting business of the incredible city.

United KingdomThe Riad is located in Marrakech's ancient old Medina, just a short walk from the Koutoubia mosque, the Secret Garden, many museums and monuments, and the famous Jamaa el fena square. Aside from that, the Riad made us feel at home; the rooms were elegantly decorated, and Moroccan culture was evident in every area. We were particularly impressed by the service; the owner and his wife were extremely nice, and they gave us with the essential information that we need to tour the city, as did the personnel, who provided us with anything we required. We also enjoyed the Moroccan breakfast and the cleanliness of the Riad.

RussiaWe had a great stay in Marrakech in this wonderful riad in the heart of the Medina. Very quiet, calm though just 5 min walk from the central square and 1 minute on foot from one of the medina’s vibrant street. everything was irreproachable from the first minute at the riad until our departure. The rooms are very clean. There is hot water and fresh clean towels. We were served breakfast on the rooftop on the terrace - njoying the sunrise. In the evening you can go upstairs to have a wonderful view on the roofs of the Medina. The owner of the riad, is a great man, very hospitable and welcoming. Ready to help you with everything you want. We do recommend this place to stay in Marrakesh. Very close to everything and very quiet at the same time.. The only thing is - you can’t reach the Riad by car, you’ll have to hire a porter fir 2-3 euros and he’ll bring you fast to the place (5min walk)
