At the first time it may be hard to find among the winding streets od medina.

Riad El Maktoub is a beautiful place in the heart of Medina. The riad is small but it has everything that is necessary to spend a pleasant time in Marrakech. The nice atmosphere in the hotel is mainly due to the amazing crew, especially to Ismail. Ismail was incredibly helpful whenever we needed something and also was a great partner in conversation, thanks to him we could have learned a lot about Moroccan culture and people of this country. The meal prepared by Kamar also was very delicious. The worth mentioning is also the cleanliness of the place, which is even better than in some European country.

I have to give rave reviews about the people who work at Riad El Maktoub who were just amazing. From day 1 Anas helped us navigate the Medina to help us get to the riad. And the other guy who was there was also amazing. thanks to them both for going over and beyond to accommodate our family.

Riad El Maktoub was incredible and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech looking for a comfortable clean place near the Medina and souks! Abdel made sure we were taken care of from the moment we landed in Marrakech. He helped to arrange airport transportation for us and was available to help make any bookings or arrangements for excursions. We left at 3:30 AM for our flight out, and Abdel made us breakfast beforehand and walked us to our taxi. This was such an amazing visit!

Only problem that we had some ants in the room which was not annoyed us that much but I would prefer to not have them where I sleep.

The personnel of the place was super kind to all guests and they were so helpful. The location was also good that you can reach to Medina in 5 min by walking.

We had the best time at Riad El Maktoub! The Riad is very close to the main square of Marrakesh and every major historic site and awesome restaurants are easily reachable by foot. Because the Riad is a bit hard to find at first I would recommend using the airport driver as suggested by the staff of the Riad. At the Riad Abdel made sure we felt very welcome and had everything we needed and asked for. He provided some exceptional chicken Tajine on our first evening in Marrakesh and served delicious breakfast on the beautiful rooftop terrace every morning. Our room (Mauritanienne) was very nicely decorated and cozy as well although I have to say you have to be comfortable with whomever you're staying there because there's no door to the bathroom. But all the other little details and especially the staff make up for the missing door big time!

I think it would be better to have the keys of principal door since many times guests come back at late night and the ring bell might be a bit annoying but nothing that bad.

Abdel welcomed us very warmly! he helped us during the whole trip with anything we needed and he had been a great host. All the stuff was kind and friendly which is a Must for me. The position is a bit tricky, but is just one small street further the one given by maps. Very close to the Jamaa El fna and all other sites. Beautiful riad really, breakfast and dinner are tasty and really traditional. They are super helpful if you have allergies as well!!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. A real oasis away from the madness of the square, but only a few minutes away.We were greeted by big smiles and a very friendly welcome by all the staff, Abdo,Hasna and Anas. They were happy to help you with anything you might need. Very clean, comfortable and breakfast was great. We loved the roof terrace to relax in-between walks around the souks. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again one day.😃🌞

Amazing location, right in the heart of the medina! The traditional Moroccan breakfast was simply delicious and the room very comfy! The terrace was a perfect spot for breakfast or a late talk under the stars! Highly recommended!

Great service by friendly guy. Answered all oir questions and helped with everything. Dinner and breakfast were also very good, location is perfect, just a little out of noise. But hard to find, google maps is not correct, its actually one street forward than it shows on maps.

Nothing to complain about, great value for the price!

Very nice Riad in a great, very central location. Not even 10 minutes to the Square, and quiet at the same time. Also very comfortable, nice and authentic. We'd like to especially thank Younes for making us feel totally welcome and for having taken care of everything we needed. His breakfast was great, too :) We always enjoyed it on the rooftop, which was an awesome spot with a relaxing atmosphere.
