Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We arrived at the property very late at night, due to a 2 hours flight delay, it was not very easy to find the place at first. Staff very polite and friendly, and the rooms are good size and clean. Had a nice breakfast on the roof terrace. For the price we paid, it was very good.

NetherlandsOur second stay was cancelled hours before arrival. I don’t know with whom we communicated via WhatsApp but initially this person promised to arrange an alternative accommodation. When I did not respond immediately, I texted back after an hour because we were in the process of mounting the bus to marrakesh, this person told me I was too late and that he/she wouldn’t help us any more. Communication was very rude. This is a pity. Our first stay was lovely but now I must warn people to book a room at this riad.
Breakfast at terrace and Amir who received us when arriving.

AustraliaThe beds are uncomfortably hard. The room and bathroom are very cramped and there is no natural ventilation. There is a really strong smell of sewerage in the bathroom.
Clean and well presented common amenities. Good breakfast.

ItalyOur stay in this Riad was absolutely perfect. Beautiful place, we had a big room for 4 person, with a wondeful terrace. Nice position, 10 minutes walk from jamaa el Fnaa place. Super breakfast in the morning and the guy was really very nice to us and helped us solving everything. Really a perfect place for a stay in marrakech!

IrelandThe Riad is in a noisy, rough area; when I arrived, it took 15 minutes to find it as there was no signage. I then had to wait 10 minutes for somebody to check me in. My room smelled of sewage, and all of the walls were damp. The towel was threadbare. I didn't mind the bed being rock hard, but I could hear arguing all night from next door and motorbikes up and down the lane. When the room above me used the toilet, I could listen to everything, and when it flushed, it woke me up on a couple of occasions. There was no hanging space, the shower was broken, and the toilet seat was loose. No space in the bathroom. The Riad is similar to how it looks in the pictures; they were enhanced. I have used booking.com many times. This is my first complaint. It's a dump!
Absolutely nothing.

AustraliaThought the rooms were very small. The price was very high compared to other, better Riads. Pillows and mattresses were only ok. Breakfast needs to have some consistent protein like eggs as per the photos on website. Booking.com says 'Total Cost' when it should read 'Total Cost excluding local taxes'. Very annoying additional fees to be paid independently at the property.
Staff were very good. I asked for eggs for breakfast ( as shown in the breakfast photos ) and they happily obliged. Very kind offers to help with information and luggage storage.

ItalyInternet went weak sometimes.
The Riad is wonderful and cozy, perfectly taken care of and the amability of Amin is boundless. He kindly helped us on many requests, such as late check-in, providing stable wifi for having an important call, and leaving our luggage for the desert trip. The riad is in the Kasbah area, which makes it much more quiet than the ones in the Medina's madness. Also, you have cheaper restaurants in the main street on the way to the center.

United StatesRiad Elite was very hard to find. Hidden in tiny street with no clear signage nor parking space. When i walked it to what supposed to be a suite, it was like an oven. When i asked an employee ( Amune) that I couldn’t sleep in the heat, he pointed out to me a small A/C unit in the connecting room. It was 2am and had no choice. But to sleep in the heat. When i wanted to take a shower to cool off, there was hardly no water. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and making lots of noice every time i turn. I complained to the same employee who advised me the water will come in the morning. So I couldn’t take a shower either. Whem i woke up in the morning i saw a roach in the shower. I oacked my clothes when went to have breakfast to be told it was over by 10:30am. Amine did not mention anything about breakfast time nor did he answer my question. My suggestion: DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE EVEN FOR FREE
I didn’t like anything in this place

CroatiaI spent a wonderful and unforgettable 14 days in this beautiful Riad.It is located near the Bahia and Badi palaces, and you have an easy 25-minute walk to Djemaa El Fna, which is great for getting to know beautiful Marrakech. The riad is extremely clean, the rooms are comfortable, they have air conditioning, as well as a terrace where breakfast is served. The atmosphere is real family, and you can especially rely on the young guy Amine, who will do everything for his guests.Although breakfast is served between 8:30 and 10:30, when I went on trips earlier, Amine always got up early and made me breakfast. Nothing was ever too difficult for him.He will even offer you his mobile phone number, if you happen to get stuck somewhere, you can call him and he will come pick you up.The breakfast was rich, always fresh, and you also get fruit with it...Riad is easy to find on google maps and there is no chance of getting lost. The rooms are cleaned every day.If you are going on trips, ask Amine for trips, he has a good offer. They are much cheaper than local sellers or the gyg app.In the end, I can only say a big thank you to Amine, Lamia, Abdul, Rabiaa for making my stay pleasant, safe and unforgettable. See you for sure. I sincerely recommend Riad Elite. Maja

SpainWe were changed to another Riad first night. On the second night we slept on other room and changed to the definitive one the third night. They told us to keep the lugagge on the temporary room and then they changed them to the new room without asking. Dont like other people to touch our things. No gluten free options.
Nice breakfast but no gluten free options as we asked since my friend has celiac dissease. Free tea when asked, towel change everyday. Staff was really nice and friendly. Location is good, only 10 min walk to the central plaza.
