Our room was very big, with a very high ceiling and because of that, it was a bit cold. We were able to use the AC to heat it, but I think its good to keep this in mind and take warmer clothes. And also there was a smell that was impregnated in fabrics, but this wasn't because of the cleaning quality, but because of the the upholstery of the sofas and the age of the furniture. It wasn't unpleasant, but we were able to feel something. The room was very clean, the bed linen and the towels were perfect, so nothing to comment about that.

The location is very impressive, the architecture and the amount of details makes you feel like royalty. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the food is very good.

It was all beautiful and staff were very friendly, although at times things felt a bit pushed…like setting up a spa treatment, writing a review on Trip Advisor, or having dinner at the Riad. However, the beauty of the Riad overwhelmed anything else!!!

The riad should be a museum. The building is so beautiful. It’s one of the most ornate places I’ve stayed. Also, not being in the Medina meant our driver could drop us off and pick us up right in front of the hotel.

We were very tired upon arriving Fes from the Sahara but Ayman, Sama and Hamid immediate was at our service on arrival. The hotel staff was just excellent and super friendly. We even had tea with them one day to discuss the beauty of the property. The riad itself is grand and just gorgeous. There are many outstanding reviews online from top magazines and historic associations for this 14 century property. We found excellent dinner choices nearby and the riad provided a good breakfast. We loved the location to which you can access the souk. They even packed a breakfast for us when we left early for Marrakesh on check out day. We had hired a city guide prior to arriving but you can arrange with them upon check-in. Just let Sama, Ayman and Hamid know what you need and they will take great care of you.

A water-proof curtain might be need around the bathtub. Under the current setting, water splashes out when taking a shower.

Wonderful Riad in Fes, perfect location for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina with walking distance to every where. Amazing architecture it's a historic building dating from the 14 century. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms and comfortable in every aspect. It has one important bonus an elevator which you won't find in most of the Riads. Excellent fresh breakfast made at order. I definitely recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Fes. I would like to specially thanks Ibtissam and Hamid for their invaluable help and kindness in every way.

The warm welcome of the staff. The Riad is incredibly beautiful, with a stunning rooftop available also during winter time. we were sad that our stay was only for one night. Super recommended.

The hotel is extremely beautiful. The location is very convenient too. Sama, Hamid, and and Ayman helped us with so much, especially with our son who was sick. Hammam didn’t feel very luxury as the women just chatted loudly to each other as we had our ‘relaxing’ treatments. Staff were helpful and efficient but everything felt a bit sales-y. Restaurant was overpriced, we found really tasty food not too far away for much less and with more ambience.

Beautiful old, traditional Riad close to the main road (but still in the medina) so access is easy. Helpful staff.
