Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Kuwait1. Breakfast was average 2. You have to ring the bell/knock for the staff to open the door. Would have been better if we had access to the main door of the property.
1. Room size was perfect. 2. Receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. 3. Location was close to the shopping area. 4. The lobby area was very nice

United KingdomWe loved it
This Riad has been beautifully restored in a way thatch faithful to it origins. The staff could not do enough for us. The roof terrace includes a glazed area so even when the wind got up bringing with it some rain, we could still enjoy the amazing views over the Medina. This is a true Riad with a fountain in the centre of the courtyard and no outward facing windows, this creates an oasis of calm. We chose a junior suite which was really spacious.

IsraelWe highly recommend this beautiful Riad. It used to be an old palace built for the ruler of Fez many years ago, going through several owners, becoming an art gallery, all before it became the beautiful hotel that it is today. The lobby is inspiring beautifully decorated. The room we got on the 1st floor was huge marvelously designed and decorated and the bed was large and comfortable. The host Wara was so nice and helpful.l and Mama Fatima the owners mother was very friendly and welcoming

CanadaWe had a hard time with the tv but Ayman and Hamid came to our room and showed us to how to use it; might be a good idea to have a little card with some instructions/directions. As grateful as we were to be able to have wine, it would have been great to have had other options (e.g. beer and for me, cava or champagne).
The staff treated us like family! Ibtissam, Ayman & Hamid went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Ibtissam would check in everyday to ask what we wanted to do that day, make suggestions, and book tour guides for us. She even arranged for a picnic lunch for the day we drove up into the mountains. There was literally nothing that Ayman would not do for us, including personally walking us over to the market one day and sitting with us at the end of the each day on the roof top patio to share his knowledge and passion for Morocco. Hamid was always there with a smile as he poured our coffee and greeted us warmly when we returned each night. These individuals made our visit very special. The Palace itself was so far beyond our expectations. When we first arrived, Ayman came outside to help us deal with our taxi driver(he must have seen us on the security cameras) he smoothed things over and showed us the way to the Palace. We were served mint tea while Ibtissam shared the history of the Palace and then shocked us by showing us to the Royal Suite. We couldn't have it for all three nights but she said that it was available for the one night and she thought we would enjoy it!! The room we moved to the next day was equally breathtaking. Why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay in a PALACE?! Definitely the most unique place that we have ever had the privilege to stay at! The roof top patio was amazing. I can't describe the beauty and awe of hearing the call to pray as the sun is going down over the historic city of Fez. I should also mention that the food is made by the owner's MOM!! Definitely try some of Mama Fatima's Moroccan dishes; the food was beyond excellent! I would like to thank Ibtissam, Ayman & Hamid for your exceptional service but most importantly for your genuine friendship. We feel deeply grateful to have met you and to have stayed in such an amazing place!

CanadaThe Fes Maya hotel is an exceptional choice for accommodation in Fes. It exudes beauty and grandeur, resembling a true palace. Our room was incredibly spacious, boasting high ceilings and adorned with exquisite decorations. We were delighted by the breakfast served on the rooftop, offering a breathtaking view and a wide array of delicious food. Sama, the staff member attending to us, was truly outstanding. She took exceptional care of us from the moment we arrived, assisting with parking and providing us with a map along with numerous excellent recommendations. Sama's guidance led us to discover remarkable places and experiences. One such recommendation was the hotel's hamam, where we indulged in an amazing and relaxing spa experience. Our stay at this magnificent hotel was truly unforgettable, and I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend it. To add to her exceptional service, Sama even offered us red wine, soup, and packed breakfast for our early checkout. Her attentiveness and generosity further exemplified her excellence.
