hidden gem of a place (hard to find!) - brilliantly located, gorgeous decor, beautiful rooftop, excellent lunch and dinner, helpful staff, and could close window to outside so wasn’t disturbed by early am muzzein.!

Sama and the lovely gentleman (who I forgot the name of :( ) were incredible hosts. Always making sure that we had everything we needed. I loved that when we checked in they gave us a list of recommended restaurants and spa's so that we can have a look. Everything was taken care of for us. Would definitely recommend!

Hizad’s esthetic is a tasteful blend of classic riad + new, which made it comfortable while maintaining the charm of traditional Moroccan design. Great location with easy access to the bustling Medina while providing a sense of quiet sanctuary. Excellent management by the owner who provided great advice and helped with other needs (eg, transportation, guides). We recommend ordering lunch or dinner there, in addition to enjoying the lovely included breakfast- our meals there were great and very relaxing. Wonderful rooftop terrace! Staff, including Senna and Yasime, were lovely and helpful, ensuring that our stay was a complete pleasure.

Isabelle, her collaborator Yassine and all the staff of cooks and women who work in the Riad were exceptional, we were immediately welcomed with relaxation in the atrium of the structure with the usual Moroccan mint tea. Always courteous and kind, and attentive to when we returned to the facility and to every detail of our stay, they set up a beautiful room for us, with a large, stylish bathroom. The breakfast exceptionally cooked by the cook of the Riad; we also decided to spend a dinner in the Riad, as an extra: very good, an opportunity to taste the traditional Moroccan flavors in a peaceful atmosphere away from the hubbub of the Medina. The Riad is in an excellent position inside the Medina, just a few minutes from the most important attractions, but outside the crowded tourist circuit. Isabelle has carefully embellished the Riad with many furnishings bought around the world during her life: while maintaining the Moroccan soul, there are Indonesian armchairs and chairs, Chinese furnishings and Asian statues. The terrace is very nice. Really thank you, we will recommend and come back!

The riad itself was aged, but the staff kept it immaculate and comfortable. They are doing construction on the pathway in front of the riad, so that woke us up a couple of mornings. (However, we should’ve been up at that time anyways!) One very minor point—I am accustomed to having a coffee bar in the room, but Yessi was very accommodating, he made sure coffee was ready when I woke up and offered tea after our outings. so not really a complaint at all!

The location is exceptional—well within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Sana and Yessi were fantastic hosts and always willing to help us, whether it was booking a massage or making dinner reservations.

We really liked this Riad. Isabelle could not have been a better host and all the staff were very helpful. The roof terrace was amazing and having breakfast there was the best start to a day. Also, the couple of evening meals we had up there were superb. The bedroom was a good size with a comfortable bed, well furnished and decorated in a traditional style. The location was excellent, being just a short walk to the heart of the medina, but when back in the riad it felt like an oasis of peace and tranquility. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Elegant in every aspect. A beautifully quiet Riad in the heart of of the Medina. The roof terrace is perfect with a small private pool to cool down from the mid day sun. The Riad has 6 bedrooms so it never feels crowded here which is an added bonus. It’s more akin to staying in someone’s private home.

The Riad is in a central position. Isabelle and her staff really make you're staying unforgettable. No details are left to chance. The room was spacious and cosy with a huge bath area. The terrace is magnificent with the pool and the Berber tent. Breakfast is fantastic. We had also dinner and it was superb! Unforgettable experience.

Isabelle and her staff could not have done more to make us comfortable in every way. I strongly recommend the collection service from the airport; it was as good as I have experienced and am a very frequent traveler.
