Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe hotel wasn't busy but except for the restaurant staff who was helpful and attentive every single time, the reception staff didn't seem too bothered. Everything needed to be reminded/ requested more than once. The hairdryer wasn't working and they couldn't give me an alternative so ended up going out to NYE dinner & show with wet hair and my friend could not wash hers for this reason as she refused to go out with wet hair. This is unheard of at a 4* hotel. It took a while until they got one for us. Have heard other people in reception saying 'we've asked for.... but didn't get it'.. Seems a trend...
Really liked the serenity of the hotel! Even though it meant taking a cab each time we wanted to leave the premises, coming back to such a serene place after the business of Marrakech felt amazing. The gardens are beautiful

United KingdomIt was my first time in Marrakesh and I was very excited as I was going only for two days to rest and relax.i wasn’t planning on leaving hotel as I was travelling by myself. I’m not happy at all. I have booked trip from london to Marrakesh as a quick relax for hammam and massage.i have send e mail days before arrival asking for offer but nobody replied to me. So I booked with receptionist the best offer on arrival at 12 am for next day at 6pm only to find out at 6.05 when I went to reception that that something is broken and there is no hammam or massage. Nobody has told me anything for 1.5 day.i had to book myself taxi and find it in the centre.very very very disappointed.i didn’t get no help from staff members.what is more disappointing there was maybe another 4-5 people staying there so it wasn’t busy at all to forget to inform me. Staff members were polite but very slow. Sunbeds was not very clean and curtains in the room very dirty.
Weather was beautiful and location was quiet. I like the design of the place.

United KingdomSERVICE - or more lack of it. This is beautiful property with the staff that works there are just useless. They barley speak English, they are slow (30 min to 1h waiting for food). Also it looks one person basically do everything (deals with orders, prepares drinks/food, do the reception stuff). Hence why they are not good at anything and it gave us really bad aftertaste after staying in this Riad. Another bad situation , one day cleaner just came out of nowhere to our room around 6pm and she didnt even knock the doors, just opened it. Luckily we were both chilling just in bed watching tv, but it put us in very uncomfortable situation, (they dont provide with "do not disturb" signs) - FOOD - overall food was just average. I don't understand all those good reviews here. We have been on Full Board option, and what surprised us, that we DIDNT have any choice of food. There was only ONE dish per lunch/dinner predefined by the kitchen(no choice à la carte), and if you wanted something else, you would be charged extra. They didnt even ask if we like the particular dish, they just served it like to the children in the school. Breakfast offered some options (buffet style), but just between bread, jam, and some vegies, (no cheese, ham) and everything always looked like "previous day leftovers". Example - one day we had very late dinner (pizza) and we left half of it, turned out it was served the next day in the breakfast buffet. It was disgusting that other people were offered our leftovers from last night at the breakfast buffet which they didn't even know about. - please note all soft drinks are extra paid (prices in menu doesn't include TAX) and hotel DOSNT serve any alcohol, and because its outside of the city there is 0 stores around, so if you craving anythign you will have to go to the city (15 euro one way) - they dont provide with iron.
property - this is little beautiful boutique style raid. rooms are big and clean. Swimming pool and sun chairs around brilliant, but because of all the staff/service issue I will never recommend this place to anyone.

United KingdomThe staff assumed a lot of things , did not really ask what we wanted. They kept disappearing when you want to talk to them. we had paid for a superior room which was not located in a quiet place in the riad. when asked if we can move they did not tell us that we were down grading from our initial room which is not fair to the guest.
The property was in a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

United KingdomToo many issues to list. Firstly couldn’t contact them to arrange a pick-up, then aggressive man on reception demanded we pay as soon as we arrived, wouldn’t show us how much, then told us to hurry because his shift was ending. TV didn’t work, water not running in toilets, rooms smelt of chemicals from building works. Dogs barking keep you awake. And there’s no shuttle bus as advertised, it’s a €30 return taxi. But our main issue, if you book to have Dinner Included, this means you cannot choose what you eat. This wasn’t explained to us, we were given a menu but told what we were having, despite everyone around us eating various dishes. I am pregnant so can’t eat certain things, and if you are vegetarian/vegan/lactose/gluten free etc, forget it! If we’d have known we’d have paid for room only and bought food separately so we could have had some choice. I was eventually allowed to change my main dish once but was made to feel like a disobedient child for the rest of our stay. To top it all off we had to pay at reception for the taxi back to airport, but they didn’t tell the driver, so he squared up to us demanding payment we didn’t have. And, of course, couldn’t contact the hotel to confirm we had already paid. Save your money, there are many other beautiful Riads in Marrakech.
The gardens and breakfast are nice, and there’s a cute dog.

United KingdomIt was very very noisy at night with dogs barking and so very hard to sleep. The hotel was further from centre than I was expecting and I didn’t realise it was dry (no alcohol served) before booking.
The pool area was a great place to relax and sunbathe after exploring Marrakesh and staff were all lovely.

ItalyThe hotel needs some mainteinance, I think it suffered the long Covid-related period critical for the tourism, and this is comprehensible. The half board is very limitated, maybe the reason is the same. Anyway Youssef has been exceptional in making us feel comfortable at 360 degrees… very much appreciated.

PortugalBesides the two servers that where working at breakfast and lunch who where lovely and spoke English very well and where worried about making us enjoy our time, the staff was simply horrible. This was by far the worst experience I had staying at an “hotel”. I never left a comment about a staying, especially a bad one, but this time I had to. Don’t recommend this place at all
The place itself is very beautiful, but that is the only good thing about this place. Besides from the people on the reception during the day time, nobody there speaks English, not even on the restaurant. We had a really hard time choosing our food because of that: the orders got all mixed up and at the end we ended up paying for things we never ordered. We had a trip booked to go to Ouarzazate and it was going to leave pretty early (6.30 am) and the breakfast wasn’t until 8am, so we asked the staff if it was possible to provide us with some bread or yogurts so we wouldn’t go on as empty stomach. They said they would leave something in our room but they never did. At dinner we asked again and since the people there didn’t speak English and not even google translator helped, we didn’t get any food. Also on that day, we got back to the riad at 9pm. The restaurant is supposed to be serving until 10pm. We asked to have dinner and they simply said “the kitchen is closed” and when we said it was only 9pm they said it was none of their business. Pretty rude and careless of the staff. On the last night we decided to go to dinner outside of the riad since it was the last day in Marrakech and we were tired of the mess everytime we went to the riads restaurant. So we asked for them to book their transfer. We called them to pick us up at 11.20pm and they said they where going to pick us up within 40min. Usually they took 30min. It happens that after midnight they charge more, so they picked us up on purpose after midnight so we had to pay more 100 dirhams than the 150 we had already paid. Also about the transfer, we booked a transfer from the airport to the riad on the first day and when we got there, there was nobody waiting for us. We had to take a taxi. Before our staying we sent a few emails to make sure someone was going to pick us up, where the person would wait for us, etc and they never bothered to answer.
