Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWifi was a bit weak. Thus the staff didn't offer card payment at arrival and had to go to ATM (5-10mins walk)
Good location in Medina. Quiet and local shops (olives and sweets shops) are nice too. Cold bottle of water at arrival was good. (You need to ask though.) Terrace.

The staff was super kind and friendly. The riad had a lovely terrace on top of the building where you could overlook the city which was super nice. Breakfast was simple but fine.

PortugalYou can't pay by card, only money. Employees only speak French. The breakfast would be even better with honey and or almond spread like in other Riads. There was no shower plate, which is ok, but there is also no way to dry the toilet after a shower, meaning that for a few hours, you'll get your foot and bottom wet every time you use the toilet. Not that many free plugs.
Confortable bed and spacious room. Very nice terrace. Location is good, even though a bit deviated from the main medina area (which also makes it more silent). The breakfast was very good also.

ItalyThe bathroom had a bad smell of sewers, the shower had no curtain, but all was functional. We paid 50 mad to use the laundry diy, and all went well but they took our clothes down a bit humid to hang other things.

The owner is very welcoming, he offered us some tea and helped us organize our stay in the city: which monuments to visit, what restaurants to go to. He was spot on. The rooms and overall riad were perfect as well as the breakfast. The two rooftop are a great place to chill after a long day.

FranceSome rooms of 4 have beds on a mezzanine which can be very hot. Another room of 4 was on the terrace and not well isolated so very noisy.
We arrived the night of Eid and the hosts had prepared tagines for all of us, as restaurants were closed. The riad is well decorated.

I love the location and it has really nice rooftop rooms with patios outside which are furnished for you to take your meals. it does tend to get really hot so we asked for a fan but unfortunately they were unable to provide one. The breakfast was really good and all the women who are managing the space were really friendly and approachable

SlovakiaTwo disadvantage. If other guests are noisy, you will definitely hear them (cause a atrium has a tunnel effect; the noise amplifies upwards). The second one is linked to a local religion. If you are not a fun of early getting up, you will be get up by an announcer from the Mosques which annouce the begining of a day (our stay was during Ramadan, so the announcer announced the beginning of the day of Ramadan (the sunrise)). This annoucing you will definitely hear because of the room location on the roof. Personally for me this expecience is not a negativum.
An owner was very helpful. If we needed something, we could contact him at any time (via Whatsapp; during the day, always was somebody in Riad). We had a roof apartment (de facto vith a 270 degree view). I only may warn that in the apartment may be during the heat very hot (not our case in March). The apartment was very spacious (beds for 4 people), two armchairs to sit, interesting bathroom. Apartment is situated on a teracce and we can also use the upper one (very nice 360° view on old Rabat medina and Rabat itself). Breakfast was served by a Madam (not a continental breakfast; local panbread, omelette, local "pancakes", mint tea and many more). The advantage was, if a madam (or someone else) did not use a full equiped kitchen, you could use it freely.
