We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe wifi could be a little spotty at times, otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay very much. There wasn't much to not like.
Our stay was wonderful at this riad, the service was outstanding. Yannick and Reda were so helpful and friendly during our stay offering tips on places to eat and go to buy spices. They always asked about us as I got sick for a couple of days and Yannick even went out of his way to get dinner in for us one night. It was nice to come home at the end of the day to mint tea and cookies relaxing in the courtyard. The lady who made up our room (sorry I can't remember your name) did a beautiful job. She even folded our clothes professionally and tidied everything. Our room was the Terrace, on the upper floor of the riad. Lots of stairs to climb if you are in this room, so beware. However, the exercise was good and we had a lot of extra room with 2 sofas and a king size bed. We were supposed to stay in another smaller room, but I asked about a larger room since we had 4 pieces of luggage to store coming from Portugal. The pool area was lovely and heated with lounge chairs and hats for the sun. Breakfast was freshly made every morning with juice, pancakes, cheeses, breads, sometimes eggs, coffee and tea, A little heavy on the carbs, but in Europe and Morocco that seems to be the norm. More than enough to start your day, The riad was in a good area in the medina near the souks and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks to everyone at the riad for making our stay so special. We hope to be back in the future.

IrelandWe adored Marrakech but what made it really special was our RIAD. A little whiskey with Yannick and late night chat. Dip in lovely little pool after fab breakfast overlooking rooftops of the city and then off into the magic that is that place. Amazing. Great location and Rada can’t do enough for you organising maps and tuc tucs! It’s just ace. We will always stay with Yannick ❤️

United KingdomThe accommodation is in the heart of the bustling old town and difficult to find on first arrival, so very reasonably priced pick up, arrange by the Riad, from the airport or train station is strongly recommended.
Great rooftop pool and sun lounge area. The pool is small, but big enough to cool down.

Wonderful stay, fantastic room, quiet, dark & private. Great house keeping, wonderful host, couldn’t do enough for us, booked restaurants & a massage. Made a delicious breakfast with the best coffee I’d had in Morocco. The riad was so calm in the chaos, a little tricky to find at first but you just need to get your bearings. Felt very safe staying here & would highly recommend 😊

We loved everything. The rooms were beautiful and had large bright windows that opened onto the central courtyard, which had lemon trees and birds chirping in them. The rooftop pool and terrace were lovely as was the little honesty bar. Just a wonderful atmosphere. We had a lovely terrace in between our rooms and even had breakfast there a couple of times. The staff , especially Redar, were exceptional, and nothing was too much trouble. They couldn’t have done enough and when we return to Marrakesh, there’s only one place for us to stay.

United KingdomAlmost impossible to find without a guide. You need to book the Riad’s driver from the airport. We didn’t realise this and found it challenging to locate the Riad!
The very atmospheric courtyard, the lovely old rooms and the friendly staff.

AustraliaGorgeous Riad in a great location. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. So quiet, hard to believe when you’ve just been out and about in the Medina. The rooftop pool and terrace were welcome after a day of wandering or sightseeing, with the added bonus of a cold beer or wine from the self-serve mini bar. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Yannick, the owner, was really friendly and welcoming. Reda was amazing, so friendly and helpful, and nothing was a problem. 100% recommend Riad Jenaï!

We were warmly greeted by Yannik and Reda at this beautiful riad. They made every effort to take care of us during our trip from booking our airport transfers, dinner reservations, serving delicious breakfasts, touk touk rides and even helping us buy local spices and ingredients to ensure we got the best quality at a fair price. Reda's kindness made a lasting impression on my partner and I. We look forward to our return one day!

We feel completely at ease during our stay. Despite the heat of July, it was pleasant overall. The service and facilities were all up to and beyond our expectation, and we were happily spoiled. The room (the Terrasse) was beautifully decorated and spacious where we could relax. The bar and the courtyard was a real nice bonus, too. We also like the location of the riad. Inside the medina, but still free from the noise and busy crowd. We’ll definitely come back to Yannick’s place and look forward to meeting Reda and Khadija again!

The receptionist was super efficient and the place is just a beautiful oasis in the medina. The only downside is that the bathroom didn't have a door. Every room is different so perhaps was just ours. Very quiet too. Strongly advice booking an airport pick up through the riad to make sure you find it. They printed our boarding passes for free which was great. Breakfast was good and the little tortoise was so so cute. If I return I'll chose it again. No cards are accepted.

You couldn't get better than staying here. Made to feel so welcome, from Yannick's communication when booking to the service on arrival. Was met by the superb Reda when the taxi dropped us off, who walked us to the Riad and then served us welcome drinks and biscuits, sharing maps and top tips. Reda and Yannick were on hand during our stay and helped with any questions, excursions etc. Yannick and Reda really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy throughout our stay! Such a quiet location, yet so close to the action! Beautiful, large room, lovely terrace areas and plunge pool. Superb daily breakfast. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Everything! The location is tucked away and very peaceful. The rooftop was fantastic for enjoying breakfast and we spent a couple of afternoons relaxing and using the pool. There is even an honesty bar and a fridge filled with drinks - perfect for hot afternoons or a late night drink under the stars when you return from dinner. The Riad has been beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with warm and vibrant Moroccan colours, rugs and furniture. From the magnificent orange trees in the central courtyard to the top terrace with views over the rooftops - Jenai has a warm and intimate feel. Our roof terrace room was just perfect and we loved staying up there. Yannick, Reda and Rajedah couldn’t have been more wonderful! They are a joyful trio and there is much laughter between them. They clearly love working together and do everything they can to make guests feel incredibly welcome and important. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day. Our bedroom and bathroom were kept spotless and the tea tray refreshed every day by Rajedah. Nothing was too much trouble for Reda who was a delight and so keen to chat and give us information on where to go and how to get there. Yannick is a superb host and is so warm and welcoming. We have met three very special people and we feel so fortunate to have picked Jenai for our 5 day trip. Top tip. Ask Yannick to arrange your taxi to and from the airport. He will meet you at one of the Medina gates and take you to the Riad. Finding your way around the Medina is great fun - but less so when you have just arrived and have luggage, as cars cannot enter!
