Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

W’ve had a wonderful time in Marrakesh and have been very, very happy with this riad. Jacqueline arranged a pick up for us from the airport, and made sure we were brought to the door. At the end of our stay we were brought back to the airport as well. The riad is perfectly situated in the medina, colourful, quiet and oh it smells so nice!! Breakfast was delicious. Marrakesh is lovely, the food is amazing and was the perfect getaway. Hope to be back one day.

United KingdomLoved it all!
From the minute we walked in the front door and into a beautiful courtyard , we knew we'd love it there. Jacqueline, the owner was so welcoming and could not have done more for us. She recommended restaurants and even phoned to book them for us. The rooms were lovely and kept tidy and clean every day. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit salad at breakfast as well as the yoghurts, fresh rolls, croissants and home made sweet treats. The staff were all polite and courteous. There is a gorgeous roof top terrace where we enjoyed sitting after a busy day. The location was perfect and we could walk to all the places we wanted to visit in the heart of the city. We would highly recommend staying here.

United KingdomA gem of a Riad! This riad is truly a garden of Eden, providing respite from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Visiting Marrakesh for the first time, we spent 3 nights with Jacqueline our French host who was so welcoming and friendly and a great source of information, especially for restaurant recommendations. The Riad is a harmonious and beautiful combination of Moroccan tradition and French flair, its decor is gorgeous and has a divine central courtyard full of fruit trees, bougainvillea and the gentle sound of bird song. Like the Riad our room was spacious, beautiful and unique and was cleaned daily. The roof terrace was lovely and sunny with pretty bougainvillea of all colours spilling from large terracotta pots. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine while the sun sets. The generous breakfasts were an absolute joy with different combinations of sweet and savoury Moroccan pastries each day and seasonal fruits. This Riad is in a really good location and it was easy to walk to the different tourist sites and there were plenty of places to eat & drink nearby, again within walking distance. If you are looking for a unique experience in a beautiful property run by a very lovely host then I would recommend Riad Jnane d’Or.

United StatesHaving to leave!
The owner/operator of the Riad, Jacqueline, was absolutely amazing. Her and her staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible stay during our first visit in Marrakesh. She organized a driver to pick us up at the airport, someone to carry our bags from the dropoff to the Riad, and was at the entrance to welcome us and get us acclimated. She mapped out all of the landmarks/areas for us and even called to arrange our first dinner, which was incredible! Jacqueline and her staff welcomed us every morning with an amazing breakfast, she offered to coordinate directly with our driver for our departure, and she even walked with us to meet our driver early Sunday morning. And I haven't even gotten to how incredible our room was! The room was beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with anything you could need. We have never had such an amazing experience staying at a hotel before and while Marrakesh was incredible and worth visiting again, I would come back just to stay at this Riad again!

GreeceThere was nothing we didn't like. All wonderful.
Our host Jacqueline was absolutely brilliant. We couldn't have wished for a better Rhiad or location. Nothing was too much trouble. Our luggage was taken to the Rhiad when we arrived and when we departed, again our luggage was taken for us to our awaiting taxi. Jacqueline came with us to make sure our driver was there, so much care was taken by her to ensure everything was right. We had better treatment with Jacqueline than a 5* hotel. Wonderful breakfast every morning, and always something different for us to try. To sum up Jacqueline was exceptional and we would highly recommend her to any traveller thinking of visiting Marrakech. Thank you for your kindness Jacqueline.

Jnane d’Ô is a beautiful oasis in the heart of the chaos of the medina! We absolutely loved the tranquility of the courtyard and our room, and we relaxed on the rooftop too. Jaqueline was a fantastic host and helped with everything from organising pick ups for tours to booking a day pass for a country club swimming pool. We had a fabulous honeymoon and loved staying at this riad. It felt truly authentic and the breakfast was a feast! Every member of staff was really kind and helpful too. Merci Beaucoup!

The Riad has been beautifully and lovingly restored and provides a haven of coolness and peace in a hectic city. It is very well located in a calm and pretty part of the medina, within walking distance to many good restaurants and all the main sights of the medina. But best of all was the warm welcome by the hostess, who went out of her way to make our stay memorable.
