We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

United StatesBathroom was a little small but no problem.
Abdul and his brother were the nicest people we’ve met in all of Morocco. They always took care of us and even packed breakfast for us when we needed to leave early for an adventure. We felt very well taken care of and for that we are forever grateful! Stay here!! It’s the best place with the best people.

AustriaEverything was just incredible. The owner welcomed us with tea and sweets when we arrived. Not that he only suggested us where to have dinner, he suggested all the touristic places. In the morning he even took us out and showed us around. Everything was very clean, the rooms and the Dar is just incredibly beautiful. We had a huge breakfast. He also helped us get our bus tickets to Chefchaouen and helped us until the bus took off. Simply an incredible person, incredible hotel, incredible experience! We can only say that Dar Kirami is the best place to stay if you want to feel at home.

The Breakfast was incredible, the best we have had in Morocco, the location is super Central when we arrived it was late at night and Abdul met us at the shuttle drop off and walked us to the Riad which was a super nice Gesture. We received great information with what to do in the area as well as advice for keeping safe while exploring Fez. I would recommend this property to anyone I know coming to Fez.

It was spectacular visually, the colours, the intricate patterns and design of interiors. Best food we ate in all of Morocco. Abdou’s hospitality was a standout.

SpainAbdul was the most accommodating host imaginable. Every step of the way he was a huge help. From booking us a car to pick us up upon arrival to showing us where to go in the city, the trip would have been a lot different--and a lot less enjoyable without Abdul. Plus the riad is absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast he prepares every morning is fantastic.

EVERYTHING!! It’s clear so much care and attention has been put into this property - and the owner, Abdou, has considered every last detail. He is rightly so proud of his renovation. The Riad is beautiful and so, so impressive. The breakfast was amazing, the Moroccan hospitality and all the additional touches: help with navigation and sights in Fes, assistance with trip booking, a lovely roof terrace and great Wi-Fi!

LuxembourgWi-fi connection on the upper floor was not working, but it worked fine at the ground floor.
What a great place to stay in Fez! I had looked at other options, but at the last moment decided to stay at Dar Kirami. We are very glad we did! The host Abdorani and his brother were very polite and always helpful. Every request was treated as a priority. We also enjoyed hearing about the history of the riad - a family home beautifully restored and turned into a guesthouse. The riad is full of lovely, authentic decorations and artefacts. We stayed on the upper floor and our room had a window to the outside which in a Moroccan riad is not the case for every room. The guest house is located a short walking distance from several interesting sights in the medina. Also, it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to Bab Guissa ("Bab" means door) to catch a taxi to La Ville Nouvelle, for example. The host Abdo cooked a delicious breakfast for us every morning. We got to try some Moroccan specialties, including a bean soup - "bisara". Because of my intolerance of gluten, Abdo provided me with this delicious and healthy breakfast option. Thank you, Abdo! Finally, the riad has a comfortable terrace with an amazing view over the rooftops of the medina as well as to the street where the entrance door is. We observed a lot of interesting moments of daily Moroccan life there, even a funeral procession. We remember our stay at this riad and our wonderful host Abdo and his brother with a big smile and grateful hearts! :)

GermanyNothing - big recommendation for anyone who is looking for a special and original Riad!!
We had a great time staying here! Abdou has renovated his family home and turned it into a truly unique and beautiful Riad. Every room has a theme and is decorated with lots of love for detail. On arrival, Abdou had Moroccan tea&cookies prepared for us and gave us a tour of the house. The roof terrace is cosy and has a nice view of Fès. We also liked the location a lot: Ca. 5 min. by foot to Bab Guissa (where you can arrive by taxi), and another 5-7 min. walking distance to the Souks from which you can explore all major sights. The street itself is in a calm and safe neighbourhood. As is typical for a Riad, the room did not have a window to the outside (the door opens to the central court). Of course you could book a random hotel with sligthly more comfort or a fancy bathroom - but we preferred this more authentic and individual experience. The price was great, and Wifi was working well. And really the best thing about this Riad is the host: Abdou does everything to make you feel at home. He gave us lots of inside tips for visiting the city, and helped us organize our trip. The breakfast was very good and had different local specialities every day. On the last day, we had to leave very early, so Abdou prepared an extra lunch package for us. You can feel that he is a host with all of his heart!! It feels more like staying in a family's home than in a hotel. We prolonged our stay, and would come back any time. Thanks Abdou for everything!

SpainThe room is quite comfortable and not too small, but you should not expect a 5-star-hotel experience. In particular, the bathroom is a bit small, with the water closet and the shower very close to each other. There is no air conditioning. This was no problem for us in April, but I can imagine that in high summer may be quite challenging.
The interior of the riad is beautiful and looks like in 1001 nights fairy tales. Abdel, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts in traditional Moroccan style were served by Abdel individually. The riad is situated in the middle of the medina, so you submerge into an oriental medieval atmosphere from the very beginning.

This was one of the best places I have ever booked, Abdul and his brother are incredibly welcoming hosts and will go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. We arrived quite late but they guided us through the medina to the riad and prepared mint tea for us! They also helped with organising taxis, hammams, SIM cards and gave great advice on where to buy various neccesities in the medina. The riad itself is beautiful and has a stunning view of the medina from the roof terrace. It is located perfectly for exploring the medina and the Marinid Tombs are also easy to get to (a great place to watch sunset over Fes). All the rooms are really comfortable and have everything you will need. Definitely the best place to stay in Fes - you will have a fantastic time here!

Abdul was the kindest host. He gave great advice about the city, with things to see and tourist traps to avoid. The riad was stunningly decorated with different local themes and the rooftop and courtyard were beautiful and lovely to enjoy a wonderful Berber coffee. We had a great breakfast and Abdul was very accommodating of our vegan/vegetarian diet, he even packed us snacks to go when we had to leave early on our last day. Location was quiet but just a couple minutes walk to the medina and plenty of sights. Abdul's hospitality was wonderful - Couldn't recommend enough!
