Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaOne aspect that could be improved is the possibility of collaborating with a nearby restaurant or offering some kind of breakfast or dinner option. The closest place where we could eat was about a 30-minute walk from the Riad, in the central square. However, we were aware of this and accepted it, knowing the Riad’s location in relation to the square. That said, after a certain hour, walking through the Medina can be a bit unusual, as many doors close and the route becomes more difficult to navigate.
Considering what we received for the price paid, it was sufficient. It's not for those seeking luxury, but given the other options we found within our budget, this was the best choice. I confidently recommend it, as the staff was very kind and helped us both with getting a local SIM card and exchanging money at a fair rate. Also, the airport transfer to and from the accommodation was arranged through them. Overall, I recommend this Riad. One thing to note—which isn’t necessarily about the Riad itself—is that around 4 AM you can hear the call to prayer, which might be disturbing for those not used to Muslim countries, especially since the Riad is located very close to a mosque.

IndiaThe location is approx 1.5 kms from the main square and its inside narrow lanes. While walking at night its bit looking shady as the old houses are in that lane.
The property is good and the staff is also friendly, helpful.

GermanyRooms are quite small, especially the bathroom. If you order a taxi from the accommodation to pick you up from the airport make sure that it’s just for you and no guests from other hotels as well. We’ve been waiting more than half an hour at the airport for other guests, so we had a huge delay but still payed the same price (15€).
We just stayed for one night. For this it was totally ok and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

ChileThe drawback is that the shower and toilet were on the same place so after showering the floor would be wet all the time. It’s a bit far from the main areas of the Medina and it’s easy to get lost in there.
The place was clean, the bed was comfortable and the area was fairly quiet for being in the Medina. The staff was super helpful and very nice

SwedenRoom was a bit cold (January) and the a/c heating was not working perfectly. Basic bathroom with shower (warm) spreading water all over. Shops and restaurants a bit far away.
Great location on the outskirts if the medina. Quiet alley. Nice old surroundings. Beautiful, traditional building. Helpful owner. Good value overall.

SlovakiaI didn’t like that especially in the evening you can hear everything happening in Riad, for example other guests talking, as the door of our room had a hole at the bottom.
This Riad is located cca 30 min walking from the main square, but we kind of liked it, as we could have a rest from the noisy part of the medina during the day. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. 😊 The room was quite small and simple, but for that price it was enough. 👍🏼

AustriaAs there were no glass windows, only bars, the room was a bit cold in January. The accommodation is not too close to the center, but very quiet.

BelgiumThe riad was very hard to find in the middle of the souk. We arrived very late in the dark and there was not any direction signs. As a woman I didn't feel safe to walk around. It would be nice if you put some direction signs in the streets. The lock of the bathroom was on the outside, so I would recommend putting it on the other side of the door please.
Beautiful decorated riad with gorgeous hand painted doors. Good wifi and calm atmosphere. Staff waited very long for us to arrive. He was very helpful through whatsapp. Nice room.

GermanyOverall I don't have anything to complain about. It's great value for money and I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Marrakesh.
The location of the Riad was central enough, only a short 15-20min walk to the Square and other tourist attractions. It was in a very local neighborhood meaning it was quiet at night as well. The Riad is very beautiful with a nice terrasse to sit and the room/bathroom is comfortable and clean tho a bit small.

AustraliaThe room could've been cleaner, but we understood it was a cheap option. Also, the location is about 20 minute walk to main madina attractions, which was fine for us but something you should be aware of. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend ✌️
The Riad was a budget option for us and that was reflected in the quality of the room. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The Riad is in a side-street off the main road which kept it quiet. The wifi worked quite well.
