Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe riad gives a wonderful insight to Moroccan architecture, lifestyle and grandeur. All staff are so helpful and polite.
Riad Luciano is in a fantastic, central location. It is surprisingly quiet, even amongst the hustle and bussel of being located within the main city walls. Excellent breakfast with a selection of traditional Moroccan breads, as well as omelettes and fruit. Waiters are impeccably polite.

United KingdomNothing - I would give it 9.4 simply because the hair dryer was extremely powerless and we had some issues with the taxi we booked through the hotel- the driver told us that his colleague will walk us to the hotel but did not mention they were not actually from the hotel and demanded 20£ for this extra. I would come back anytime and highly recommend it
Location, amazing friendly staff, courtyard and terrace are little places of paradise - amazing breakfast, comfortable

NetherlandsWe truly felt like a Sultan! The service of the hotel was great with kind people greeting us with a smile. During the preparations of our stay we even got an upgrade because of my pregnancy. The airportshuttle greeted us with a private taxi and without any hassle we were escorted through the busy streets of the souks through quieter alleys reaching the riad, an oasis of calm. On the rooftop there is a solarium with an amazing view of the city, a perfect place to drink tea. This hotel is one of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever been to. The floors and bathroom were clean. Towels were changed after being used one time. Bathrobes and slippers were awaiting us in our room. I recommend you book the Sultan room, there is no doubt you will feel like a king. The room could be called an entire appartment with many squared meters. I booked a massage one day in advance, which was done professionally. In the morning we asked if we could have breakfast on the rooftop, ofcourse (just like all other requests) that was not a problem. We had the most delicious breakfast with multiple courses (freshly made vanilla an cucumber orange juice, fruitsalad, morrocan pancakes, sweets, ommelets, bread, homemae yoghurt, jam/honey and tea). This riad makes all wishes come true and with the quality of the riad is worth paying a higher end price.

United StatesNothing.
This was our first time in Marrakech. We chose Riad Luciano based on high ratings online, and it did not disappoint. From the start the staff was so friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Btissam, the hotel manager, was so welcoming and helpful. She even went to the market to get me preserved lemons because I expressed that I wanted to take some home for my family. We did the Moroccan bath at the Riad and it was wonderful. I do like the location of the Riad. It is located close to the entrance to the souk, so it was very easy to catch a taxi to and from the airport. I think if you stay deeper into the souk, you'll have to walk quite a bit with your luggage to get to the main street. You are also close a great currency exchange office (very useful) and to all the stores. It is a short walk to local restaurants, like Cafe Arabe and Le Terrasse des Epices. You're also very close to Dar El Bache the famous coffee/hot chocolate cafe inside the museum. We did not get to try it because there is always a long wait.

United KingdomWhilst the location seemed to be an ideal choice right in the medina, it was a lot of alleyways to get to the Riad and only one route in or out. So perhaps not the best choice for female solo travellers, but once your out of the alleyways it was a good location. The only thing was it was quite an expensive stay, even when we were looking at the spa prices it was not competitively priced.
The courtyard is picturesque, what a spectacle! The staff were so hospitable and friendly right from the moment we go there to the moment we checked out. The rooms were lovely, and the housekeeping team were happy to tidy/clean multiple times throughout the day. The showers were pleasant and well pressured. The breakfast was great, with a great variety of items they bring.

United KingdomNothing. Literally every aspect of this stay was perfect!
An utterly beautiful riad. My room was gorgeous and the central courtyard and restaurant were also beautiful. It’s in a great location - quiet and secure but also right in the heart of things - just a few minutes walk from the Museum at Dar el Bacha. The staff were charming, welcoming and helpful - and in particular Taha and Ismael (forgive me if I’ve spelt these wrong!) who were both were very supportive and welcoming. No request was too much trouble. Taha helped me enormously when I had hurt my leg and was having difficulty walking and had to change my plans at the last minute and stay at the Riad for dinner. Altogether a wonderful stay at a wonderful Riad. I cannot wait to return!

United StatesThe inside breakfast/dining area could be made a bit more cozy. It has a very clean/modern vibe and doesn’t give a Moroccan atmosphere. I think it’s mainly because of the furniture and decorations.
Location, breakfast and overall atmosphere and service were superb. It’s a calm oasis in a very busy medina. The location of the riad is in one of the more beautiful parts of the medina, which is really nice. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.
