Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The ambiance is perfect, wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. Truly a respite from the noise and bustle of the Medina! You enter the Riad and it is an oasis of tranquility. Z-Z was a great host!

United KingdomA minor thing as the staff very happily obliged, but would have liked a key to the front door, rather than having to ring the bell, other than that, everything was on point.
Beautiful serene Riad, lovely quiet, dark room ensuring a good nights sleep. Breakfast always good. Really lovely people. Accept the offer of a private airport transfers especially if arriving at night. Also, accept the wonderful opportunity of dinner in, on the terrace, the food is wonderful, the setting quite special.

PolandEverything was perfect! Typical marrocan breakfasts, very kind and helpful staff - Zedzed, thank you for your help and early breakfasts! 🙂 We could leave our luggage before check-in. Very clean apartment, wonderful terrace on the top of Riad and nice, singing birds next to our window. ♥️ If you are looking for clam and safe place in the heart of Medina this is the right Riad! Thank you!!!

SwitzerlandThe room was a bit on the smaller side. There was no place to keep the suitcases or to sit down, though there was a lot of common space which one could use. There was a little problem with the head end of the bed - the space for pillows was in a recessed place, enclosed by a wooden frame. everytime one tended to sleep or get up, there was a risk of banging the head against the wood (happened several time to us!!). Perhaps the owner can turn his attention to this problem?
The owner was very helpful, and sent someone to pick us up and drop us off at the taxi from and to the airport. He also gave us excellent information about where to go and the landmarks etc. The property is decorated very tastefully, and they also have a nice gazebo which could be used in warmer weather - though it was too cold for us to use. The breakfast was good Moroccan breakfast cooked fresh. The only problem was that no fruits were served in breakfast. The caretakers were very helpful and polite. The room and the Riyad are very tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Having electrical points by the bedside was helpful, and the AC worked well. There was a small issue with the head rest though. All in all it was an excellent stay and an excellent property.

MaltaThe location may seem complicated and easy to get lost but all you need is just a phone and you'll easily find your self back to the hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything was well-maintained and beautifully designed. The location of the hotel in very close to the market which makes it a nice experience. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional hospitality of the hotel’s carer. Despite the language barrier—I don’t speak French or Arabic—we still managed to communicate effortlessly. He was incredibly kind, polite, and always eager to help, making my stay even more enjoyable. One particular detail I appreciated was the evening we arrived he came to pick us up from where the taxi dropped us of because the car couldn't go any further, he brought an umbrella as it was slightly raining and he even warmed up our room in advance before we got to it so we find it nice and warm. His attentiveness and welcoming nature truly made a difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience in Marakech.

ItalyThis is not related to the Riad itself but the location of Riad in Medina. Being very central the "caos" of medina will be expected as soon as getting out of the Riad.
The quality and service of the Riad have been top level, as expected by the online reviews. Zz has been a great host, always available and gentle with our requests and supporting us. Strongly advised.

United KingdomA lovely, traditional riad tucked away in the medina. Zed Zed and the other staff were very kind and helpful. Abdou (who spoke excellent English,) gave us a map of Marrakech to point out the best places to visit and we pretty much covered them all. We also used Abdou to book a three day trip into the Atlas mountains/desert which we'd previously researched. There was a bit of a hiccup over what was offered in the package but we contacted Abdou and he put it right for us. The highlight for us was the 2 hour camel ride to our luxury tent at sunset and then again on the way back at sunrise. Others on our tour were closer to the road and the camel ride was a lot shorter. A bit hard on the backside but these two fit for 60 year olds coped with it.

SpainIt is very east with maps, & using a sporadic signal from your phone, to get lost. But, I think if you don't get lost in the Medina of Marrakesh, you're not doing it right. That's the fun. We were also lucky to have the worst rain in 50 years. Can't blame anyone for that.
The staff, Rida, & Mona, were very helpful, & friendly. Their food was great. We had an excellent last evening meal with our friends before leaving.

United KingdomThere is no kitchen or electric kettle in the room. Hosts can make you tea or coffee.
It is a great classical riad with good decoration. A little away from the beaten road, but still close to the city centre. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic terrace with comfortable loungers and sofas - we spent much time there while the room felt a little suffocated during the day. Anyway, a small window in the room could be opened, and the air conditioner is working well. Our room on the second floor is well-equipped: an air conditioner, fridge, hairdryer, big wardrobe, and a private toilet. The Moroccan breakfast is good.
