Absolutely beautiful Riad so peaceful right in the heart of the Medina .. Irshad the manager was the most attentive host and made us feel so welcome .. it felt like we were home. The ladies who worked there were amazing .. felt like we were 5 star service .. we will definately recommend to all our friends and will definately return. Thank you so much

This property was amazing! This riad was stunning and the staff made it even better. They went above and beyond. Their hospitality and kindness was much appreciated and I would highly recommend Riad Matham for your stay in Marrakech. They answered all of our questions, always asked how we were going and if we needed anything. The breakfast by the pool every morning was great, especially having it with the 3 resident tortoises (hummus, cous cous and tagine).

I loved everything about my stay at the riad. The staff was amazing, especially Hicham! He was very thorough when explaining directions and with any other questions we had, truly such a kind human! They breakfast served went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend this place to others. The location was also a great spot and was close to many pick up spots for excursions! We had a lovely time!

Honestly....nothing. I'm a picky person and this Riad was perfect. I was with my 2 adult kids who felt the same. We came and went during the day and it was just so effortless and easy. Nothing was forced which we really really liked after being in the medina all day.

Excellent location. Hicham met us not far from Riad in Medina on arrival and took us to Riad. Less than 5 min walk. Riad exceptional. So lush and peaceful once inside. Rooms immaculate. Lovely ladies clean them every day. Really classic and tasteful Moroccan clean decor. Roof top with little kasbah view tower with 360 views. Beautiful. I sunbathed a few hours every morning. Whole rooftop to myself. Berber tent and seating for shade. At night sitting there so atmispheric. Not forgetting the famous residents. Cous Cous, Tagine and Hummus. Resident tortoises. We were terrified we'd step on hummus daily he was so small 😀 Location. Walking distance of everything. Really safe, although route a bit scary at first. We were walking home midnight. Locals really friendly and will point you in right direction. Lovely cafes all with rooftops nearby for food and drinks, about 10 min walk max to square we had 2 main routes through the bazarres that we loved taking. Dead easy and after a few days you know the routes. We walked absolutely everywhere, longest walk was probably half hour to YSL Museum and Majorelle Gardens. The location of Riad spot on. Hicham also prepped us with online map. Breakfast also need to mention. Lovely Moroccan breakfast with fruit, different local breads, omelette, tea coffee, jam etc. Great start to day. We even received a later check out. Amazing Riad. 100% will be back.

We loved everything!

We loved our stay at Riad Matham. Everything was perfect since the moment we booked the stay until the day we left the Riad. The communication was incredible and very effective. The team as AMAZING! They were kind, respectful and very attentive. They were there for us every step of the way. We were given an explanation on how to walk in the Medina and how to use a maps app. The rooms were very clean and nice. The rooftop is incredible and has the best views of the city. It is a paradise inside the Medina!

Maybe a little brighter lighting in the bathroom

The gentleman who helped during our stay was excellent. He organized the taxi, met us on arrival and took us back to meet the taxi on departure. He was very attentive throughout our stay and took time to give us many useful details about where to visit and how to navigate the Medina. The breakfast was also excellent and the staff friendly. 10/10

Isham runs this riad and did an amazing job making us comfortable and helping us nagivate the medina. He greeted our cab from the airport and helped us the whole time during our stay, organized trips for us and was so kind. Breakfast was amazing every day thanks to Isham and staff. So much fresh fruit, bread, coffee and tea. All delicious. Dinner at the riad our first night was so delicious too. The riad is beautiful and quiet, very peaceful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Riad is absolutely beautiful, it felt like an oasis of paradise in the centre of the medina. It’s near enough the souks and close to many sites to visit. The room was spacious, beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great, changing slightly every day. The manager, Hisham is just outstanding - caring for all guests, incredibly hard working (he never stops), a genuine kind person.

The manager, Hisham was incredible! So attentive and thorough. From meeting us when dropped off from airport to explaining how to find our way around. The place was a bit of an oasis from the crazy chaos of the city. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and it was nice to have a purchased meal at the Riad after a long day. Make sure you check out the rooftop!

Riad Matham was the perfect space for some peace and tranquility from the busy Medina. The riad was beautifully finished with gorgeous court yard and a great roof terrace to relax on.

Everything! Hicham and his colleagues were absolutely amazing, and we felt very welcomed here. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - and room facilities were great. Internet worked brilliantly! And the rooftop view of course was stunning as was the design and general feel of the riad. Also tucked in a calmer part of the medina a few mins from Dar Bellarj and the House of Photography which makes it easy to navigate. Hope to be back!

The service at Riad Matham was unmatched. Absolutely lovely host (I unfortunately didn't catch his name) who went above and beyond to accommodate a very early breakfast so that we could get out to the airport. Very comfortable sleep and lovely riad with access to a terrace with stunning views.

We loved everything! Even though the riad is located deep inside the busy Medina, it was really quiet and relaxing. The interior is beautiful (including the rooftop) and staff are lovely. Beds are comfortable and we had plenty of space in the room, although we have booked one of the suites. If we ever come back to Marrakesh, we'll definitely be staying at Riad Matham again.

Wonderful Riad - historic / old charm with all modern upgrades/facilities. Great location, in the middle of the old city - everything was walking distance including the main square. Great food - breakfast and dinner. Fantastic staff, especially the manager Hisham, who attended to all our needs - went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! Highly recommend this Riad!

We loved every aspect of Riad Matham. It felt like such a quiet and secluded haven away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Hasshim, the riad manager, could not have been more helpful with meeting us and even walking us back to the taxi drop off point (2 mins away) at the end of our stay, and gave us a brilliant in-depth overview of where to go and what to do. We arrived late and were welcomed with the most delicious 3 course dinner on a rose petal strewn table. The rooftop was such a highlight - the highest one around with amazing views of the city and mountains. Cannot recommend enough!

Nothing could be improved

We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Hisham arranged and airport transfer and then met us to bring us to the Riad. He brought us Mint tea and cookies then spent ages briefing us and helped us download a map app and enter the key sights of interest to make it easy to navigate the labyrinth of the Medina. We ate a delicious dinner in the Riad with a petal strewn table overlooking the beautiful courtyard garden and pool on our first night. The place is so tastefully decorated with beautiful pieces of art and craft set against clean white washed walls. The place is exceptionally clean and well managed. It's in the perfect position in the Medina with a short walk to a good choice of great restaurants, the souks and key tourist sights. I can't recommend enough.
