Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

United StatesProbably the best place we stayed while spending the holiday in Morocco. Unbelievably terrific staff with an incredibly beautiful building just steps from the labyrinth of the medina. Highly recommended.

Everything. This Riad is a wonderful piece of architecture, richly decorated and impecably clean. The staff was amazing (my special thanks to Abdul and Marian) and the food was superb. Rooms 100% clean, spacious and confortable. Very nice shower. Perfectly located.

NorwayOur experience with Riad Nass Zmane was exceptional, especially everything that comes to service. The staff was very nice and helpful and could predict our needs. They were very flexible too, we were provided with breakfast even when we had to leave much earlier then the time breakfast usually starts. Also the breakfast buffet was the best we have had in Morocco! A lot of alternatives, a variety of fresh fruits everyday - we absolutely loved staying there 🧡💛

United StatesNothing, I wouldn’t change anything from this stay.
Riad Fes Nass Zmane truly is a magical place with all the amenities needed in a room, outstanding views of the Medina, and superior customer service. I am so grateful that we were able to stay there! Abdul Malik, Mariam, and the manager, Lofti are who really made this place so wonderful and truly memorable. They were always accessible and willing to help with any tasks: hammam recommendations, room service, mint tea, and even assistance with carrying bags after a long day of shopping(guilty!). I also recommend the food at the Riad as it is freshly made. Their breakfast buffet was also delicious. Overall, I’m a huge fan. I am truly grateful for the experience I had there and will never forget them.

All hotel staff are super kind, attentive and ready to help. The whole building is kept spotlessly clean, with the typical Moroccan decorations. The view of Medina from the rooftop terrace is stunning.

Absolutely everything! 10/10 It's the kind of hotel that makes you think about going back to a country just so you could stay there. It was the perfect stay. Staff went out of their way just to make us feel at home, breakfast time was adjusted just for us so we could be early for the tour, the next day we left at 4.00 am and they packed breakfast for us 🙌. Room spacious and very very clean, the shower was amazing....I could go on and on. Everything here was beyond expectation!!!! 100% recommend.

United KingdomIf you’re looking for an accommodation in Fez, we highly recommend staying here! The public spaces have stunning Moroccan charm and characters, with great attention to detail. I personally believe it stands out among similar accommodations. It’s such a pity that I couldn’t stay here a few more days. The towels and bed linens in the guest rooms are excellent quality. The bathroom taps provide fast-running hot water, and the shower offers powerful hot and cold water. The air conditioning works excellent to keep the room warm, and it’s very quiet at night. Breakfast has more options and variety and is delicious. These are the basic needs and all very important to a hotel guest, aren’t they? We had a dinner here, and both the taste and presentation of the food were fantastic. Do enjoy one dinner while you staying here. The Riad has a prime location. Save your trip to the specific viewpoint, as you can enjoy the beautiful views of the entire Medina of Fez right here, whether at night or during sunrise. See my panoramic photo below. The owner Bennis is very hospitable and works hard from morning till late at night to ensure the satisfaction of the guests, and he has a great taste in the design and decoration of the Riad. I appreciated and enjoyed this place very much and will recommend it to all my friends. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to return in the future.

This riad is an absolute stunner, the personal were friendly and professional and willing to go do the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. It was also quite a convenient location to walk to the medina. The breakfast was also superb 👌

NetherlandsMaybe more vegetarian / vegan options for travellers - within and outside the Moroccan cuisine :)
The riad is beautiful and elegant, and speaks of culture in every corner. The staff is very courteous and always ready to help you. The owner is around very often to ensure you are well served and that everything runs smoothly - he also helps with making all arrangements needed to sight see. The language (English) can sometimes be a barrier, but the staff ensures they do their best to serve you well, serve you what you want and need. It’s a very big recommendation from me - absolute delight.

AustraliaOur room was under the rooftop and unfortunately the first night other guests were talking loudly up there after 10pm which affected our sleep, but the Manager sorted this pretty quickly so all was quiet. Our king bed was made up as two singles pushed together-if one set of king sheets was used would make some other people maybe not complain… no real issue for us.
Good location in the old town made wondering the Medina easy and fun. Staff were excellent they were attentive without being intrusive. Ishmael and Marion were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay always smiling and happy. Dinner on the rooftop was excellent and fun to listen and watch the 6.45pm call to prayer from all the Mosques. Room was comfortable with a good shower. Walking inside the Riad reveals a beautiful traditional interior that is beautifully decorated.

United StatesI can’t say enough great things about this Riad. We had such exceptional service from Ismael, Maryam, and the rest of the team. We arrived late in Fes and our driver unbeknownst to us had reached out to the Riad and Ismael picked us up. We got into the Riad which was even more beautiful than the photos and we had such an incredible breakf each morning. We were the only guests for a few days and we had such a customized experience for breakfast— we truly felt like loyalty. You are just a few steps away from the Medina and rhe beds are so comfortable!

Our stay at this charming riad in Fes was nothing short of magical. We traveled with our 3-year-old daughter, and the hospitality we received made the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make sure our daughter felt comfortable and at home. The riad itself was spotless, with rooms that were spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, giving us restful nights after long days of exploring the medina. Every morning, we were treated to a generous and varied breakfast in the beautiful courtyard patio. The setting was stunning, surrounded by traditional Moroccan tiles and plants, and the breakfast itself was always a highlight. It was plentiful and diverse, with something new to enjoy each day, making it feel like a special experience every morning. One of our favorite parts of the riad was the rooftop terrace, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the medina and the surrounding mountains. Whether you’re enjoying a sunset or simply relaxing after a busy day, the terrace is the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of Fes. If you're looking for an authentic Moroccan experience in a family-friendly, comfortable, and beautifully maintained riad, this is the perfect place to stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base during our time in Fes!
